Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

”What?”

You can’t be serious.

This has got to be joke.

right? RIGHT??

There’s no way in hell I’d just devoured literal air, right? RIGHT??

There’s no way in hell this system is that broken right??

”Holy shit...”

Deciding to check out if the talent was actually real, I focused on it,

:The user can manipulate surrounding air currents within a limited range.

Effects:

• Control airflow

• Create small gusts of wind

• Slightly enhance movement speed

• Redirect minor projectiles

Range: 5–10 meters

.....

”It’s real, holy hell, it’s actually fucking real”..

I just got a C-ranked talent, right off the bat, and I hadn’t even tried to do anything, just thought about devouring th atmosphere..

”Wait a minute, if I could do it once, does that mean I could do it again?”.

The thought came to me unbidden, and it refused to leave, so settling myself comfortably on my bed, I whispered,

”Devour and Acquire the air”

>

”Holy cow, it’s working, it’s actually working!!!”

I waited with bated breath, hoping for another success, but then,

>

..>>

”What? It failed?”.

To say I wasn’t disappointed would be a lie.

But then, what did it mean insufficient understanding of atmospheric pressure?..

Before the thought could linger,

”What the hell just happened right now?”

The whole sequence of events is just throwing me off...

”Hold on, D, let’s backtrack a bit”..

I calmed myself down, going through the messages one by one..

First of all, the first attempt succeeded, I can only guess that’s because I knew, that air existed, so that means, the ability Devour, counted it as enough knowledge? To proceed in devouring?.

If that were the case, then the second attempt failing would make sense, since, just knowing that air existed, wouldn’t warrant an extremely deep level of control?

”Just to be sure, let’s see what , can do”.

Thinking so, I pulled up the talents description.

: Deeper and more control over atmospheric forces..

Effects:

• Generate powerful wind currents

• Increase movement speed significantly

• Create compressed air blasts

• Manipulate air pressure to disrupt enemies

• Enhance jumps and aerial movement

....

It’s as I thought, the upgraded version is significantly more powerful than the lesser one, no wonder I need to understand the atmosphere better..

But, then, that brings me to what even made me understand to begin with.

————-

Chaotic Comprehension:what’s yours is mine. Instantly comprehend and acquire whatever technique or skill you see..

—————-

The ability said it was about comprehending whatever technique and skill I saw? Did atmospheric pressure even count as a skill or technique?

Hell, how did I even see air to begin with?

Or does see not mean visual sight? Maybe just an idea? Or sensing it?

Well, only one way to find out..

”Devour”

This time, I gave the order mentally, thinking about what I wished to devour instead of saying it all out loud, just as a test, and then,

A few tense moments pass by and then,

”As expected, but now, let’s see if my theory was right”.

And right on cue...

[Ding]

[Chaotic Comprehension activating.....]

[You’ve gained insights into the workings of atmospheric pressures and the forces governing them.....]

[Ding]

[Your understanding of Atmospheric Pressure increases significantly]

[Atmospheric Pressure:

Current comprehension: 60%]

The moment the ability activated, a surge of information flowed into my mind, air currents manipulations, how to create tornadoes, the inner workings of vacuum spaces, everything..

Eventually,

....

”Success”..

I grinned widely, excitement bubbling within me..

I’d just gone from an insignificant E-rank talent wielder, to an A-rank in mere moments..

”Damn, this is more broken than I thought”..

Not only was the ability DEVOUR extremely broken, but it seems, all the other abilities and skills I’d gotten were meant to supplement it..

I mean, if I require comprehension to devour certain things like the elements themselves, then without Chaotic Comprehension, I’d have had a Gun with no bullets..

”Damn”..

Shaking the thought away, I willed the new talent’s description to appear,

:

Control over the atmosphere itself begins to manifest.

Effects:

• Manipulate large-scale air pressure

• Create localized storms

• Generate vacuum zones

• Control oxygen density

• Manipulate temperature flow

....

”Shit!!”

That was strong, very strong in fact..

With this, couldn’t I just suffocate my opponents in the future? If I had control of what you breathed to sustain yourself? Can’t I just snuff out your life with a thought?

”Bloody hell”..

And this was just A-rank, no wonder..

”No wonder people with talents below C-rank, are considered trash, wouldn’t I be able to kill 100 previous versions of me with just a thought from this talent?”..

I suppressed a shudder...

”Alright, let’s see if we can push it for more”..

Letting that thought settle,

”Devour”

Hoooo~~~

I let out a shaky breath..

I couldn’t help it..

The excitement was too much..

I’d just gone from nothing to hero in minutes, MINUTES!!!

”This is insane” i muttered weakly, looking at my hands...

Absentmindedly, I willed the new talent description..

:

The user possesses complete dominion over atmospheric forces.

Effects:

• Control wind, pressure, oxygen, and density

• Generate storms, hurricanes, and shockwaves

• Manipulate flight through atmospheric currents

• Create vacuum zones or crushing pressure fields

• Shape large-scale weather patterns

....

Pinch!!!

”Ouch!! I’m not fucking dreaming..”

Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t have any masochistic tendencies, it’s just..

”Fuck me sideways, what the hell?”

That was too much, too powerful..

Wouldn’t I be a walking natural disaster with this talent? Generating storms? Changing weather patterns? Creating vacuum zones?..

If that isn’t a walking disaster, then what is?

No wonder anyone with an S-rank or higher talent walked around like gods on earth..

Thinking here, I paused..

”If an S-rank talent, is already this broken, then how powerful are Micheal and Cara exactly?”..

After all, not only did they have SS-rank talents, they had SS-rank bloodlines too..

And people often said bloodlines are more broken than talents..

So if an S-rank talent is already this disgusting, just what the hell are Micheal and Cara walking around with?....

A/N: I’m not seeing any power stones..

Tell you what, if we can break past 50, from now till Sunday, I’ll release an additional 2 Chapters, added to the one I am owing you guys from yesterday, that’d make it, 5 Chapters on Sunday instead of 3, so let’s push!!!
