Catastrophic necromancer

**Chapter 1162: Overgeneralization, It’s Not That Simple**

The green flowers and white bones created a scene that appeared quite discordant. To ordinary people, it would seem eerie. However, in Lin Moyu’s eyes, this felt normal. Such a vast death aura would be abnormal without any white bones.

The skeleton hidden beneath the flowers and grass was crystal clear, even whiter than ordinary bones. “It seems to have been here for some years, not a recent occurrence.”

The skeleton did not resemble a human but some kind of beast. Its skull was missing, making it hard to identify. Apart from the skull, the rest of the skeleton was intact.

It had six limbs in total. The two hind legs were thick and powerful but somewhat short. The other four limbs were slender but relatively long. Lin Moyu guessed it might be a creature that walked on two legs and had four arms.

“It looks somewhat like a demon.”

Lin Moyu’s confusion lasted less than two seconds before the skeleton suddenly stood up in the strong wind. If it were someone else, they would have been scared to death. A skeleton that had been dead for so long suddenly moved.

But Lin Moyu was unfazed. Dealing with bones daily, such a scene was nothing to him. As Lin Moyu had judged, the standing skeleton indeed stood on two legs and had four upper limbs.

Then, countless flowers flew over, carried by the strong wind, covering the skeleton as if dressing it in armor. Next, green grass flew over, intertwining to form four long swords that fell into the skeleton’s hands. Flowers as armor, grass as swords.

Except for the missing skull, the skeleton looked almost like a living person. It stood three meters tall, wearing a flower armor, exuding a strong sense of oppression.

The soul’s sensing ability was suppressed, making it impossible to judge the opponent’s strength. However, Lin Moyu’s body did not feel any danger, indicating that the opponent was not strong. But this lack of strength was relative to him. After all, this was the fourth test, which could be fatal to others.

“Let’s test it first!”

With a thought, a Skeleton God Warrior appeared beside Lin Moyu. The Skeleton God Warrior stood nearly four meters tall, much taller than the headless skeleton. The Skeleton God Warrior held a sharp giant axe, appearing stronger than the opponent.

Comparing the two, Lin Moyu thought the Skeleton God Warrior might just lack armor. If it had armor, it would look even more imposing. The opponent, accompanied by the strong wind, charged at Lin Moyu, covering hundreds of meters in an instant.

“Go!”

Lin Moyu commanded, and the Skeleton God Warrior swung its axe without hesitation, meeting the charge head-on. Boom! The two collided, with the Skeleton God Warrior standing firm, letting the opponent’s four swords strike its body. The Skeleton God Warrior’s axe also landed on the opponent.

The Skeleton God Warrior feared neither life nor death and knew no pain. Even if it died, it could instantly revive. Lin Moyu used the Skeleton God Warrior to test the opponent’s attack power. Surprisingly, the opponent’s attack was weak, causing no harm to the Skeleton God Warrior. The minor damage was distributed among all the skeletons, almost negligible.

The Skeleton God Warrior’s axe, however, shattered the opponent’s flower armor and cut through its body like a hot knife through butter. With a light sound, the opponent’s body exploded, scattering bones everywhere.

“So weak?”

Lin Moyu was somewhat surprised; the opponent was much weaker than expected. After pondering for a few seconds, he understood why.

“The Skeleton God Warrior’s overall combat power is between the seventh and eighth tiers of True God, with balanced attributes and strong physical strength, without any weaknesses.”

“In other words, the Skeleton God Warrior’s physical strength is at least at the sixth tier of True God.”

“The flower monster’s attack power is about the fourth tier of True God, and its defense is similar, so it was easily killed.”

The manor suppressed soul power but not physical strength. As long as one’s physical strength was strong enough, the tests, whether previous or current, were not difficult. Understanding this, Lin Moyu was about to leave when he noticed a faint light.

The flower monster’s body had disappeared, along with the flowers, grass, and bones. On the ground, where the heart should have been, lay a crystal-like object. The transparent crystal was only the size of a fingernail.

Lin Moyu picked it up and used a detection spell but got no results. Upon closer inspection, the crystal resembled the one Tang Zhen had obtained, like a fragment of it. Tang Zhen’s crystal was the size of a fist, while this one was only the size of a fingernail, a significant difference.

However, Lin Moyu was not disappointed. Instead, he murmured, “Kill monsters, get loot?”

The scene before him felt familiar, like a dungeon in a small world. In the great world, there were no dungeons, and even secret realms were different from those in small worlds. Lin Moyu had always thought dungeons were unique to small worlds, but now this familiar feeling reappeared.

“Let’s continue!”

Lin Moyu didn’t dwell on it, knowing it was pointless to think further. With his current level, he was far from exploring the world’s secrets. He put away the transparent crystal and continued forward, staying vigilant.

To him, if the fourth test was just a flower monster, it would be too simple, much easier than the previous three tests. But after walking hundreds of kilometers, nothing happened, as if the fourth test had quietly passed.

“If those who chose to retreat at the third test knew the fourth test was like this, would they regret it?”

Suddenly, Lin Moyu realized his thinking was wrong. It wasn’t that simple. He had easily killed the flower monster, making the fourth test seem simple. For others, with their strength suppressed to the fifth tier of True God and weak physical bodies, killing the flower monster would be difficult. They might even be chased by it.

Thus, the fourth test was not that simple. The first three tests were passive, and passive tests were the easiest to pass. With enough preparation, one could always find a way to cope. The fourth test, however, was active. If one couldn’t defeat the flower monster, they would be chased, making it difficult.

Lin Moyu chuckled, “It seems my thinking is still not thorough enough. I can’t overgeneralize.” As he spoke, another strong wind blew, identical to the one in the fourth test. The wind was so strong it formed a wall, blocking Lin Moyu’s path.

Of course, a mere wind wall couldn’t stop Lin Moyu. With a slight effort, he passed through it. However, the wind continued, creating significant resistance and slowing him down.

Lin Moyu paused, realizing that if a flower monster were chasing him and a wind wall appeared ahead, the outcome would be dire. Thus, the fourth test was not as simple as it seemed. The only way to pass was to defeat the flower monster. Otherwise, with wind walls ahead, escape would be impossible.
