Catastrophic necromancer

Chapter 215 Walk, Walk, Walk, Don’t Want to Talk to You for Now

The Witch General exuded an imposing aura, unlike skeletons that were purely composed of bones. It seemed to have flesh and blood, with a complete appearance, albeit slightly fierce and intimidating.

Wearing armor and wielding a large staff, at the top of which, a skull emitted blazing flames. The white flames not only lacked heat but instead lowered the temperature around them by several degrees.

Looking at it, impressive yet eerie.

Lin Moyu checked the attributes of the Witch General.

[Bronze-level Witch General]

[Level: 1]

[Legion Members: 0/10]

[Strength: 40]

[Agility: 40]

[Spirit: 40]

[Constitution: 2000]

[Skills: -Legion Enhancement (Level 1)]

[Legion Enhancement (%): Increases control resistance by 10%.]

[Skills: Legion Healing]

[Legion Healing: Heals legion members, effectiveness depends on skill level.]

[Skills: Dispel (Level 1)]

[Dispel (Level 1): Removes all abnormal statuses from legion members (only effective for statuses below level 10).]

Lin Moyu was speechless at the Witch General’s attributes. With only 40 points in strength, agility, and spirit, even though it was only level 1, this strength seemed too minimal. This was after a 40-fold increase, indicating its original attributes were a mere 1 point, even weaker than the weakest level 1 monster.

Its towering and fierce appearance didn’t match its low attributes, except for its high constitution, initially 50 points, boosted to 2000 points. It seemed all attributes were converted into constitution, indicating the Witch General lacked attack power and wasn’t meant for combat.

Not only Lin Moyu, but Bai Yiyuan and the others also saw its attributes, nearly spitting out their tea in surprise.

“These attributes are so bizarre!”

“With only 1 point in attributes, what can it do? Can’t even beat a rabbit.”

“The constitution is okay, but what’s the use? Just a meat shield?”

Ning Tairan was very puzzled. They could only see the attributes before the boost and couldn’t see the skills.

Bai Yiyuan also couldn’t understand and Meng Anwen, the calmest, said, “A level 30 skill can’t be useless; there must be something special about it.”

Lin Moyu saw the skills and couldn’t help but get excited. The Dispel skill of the Witch General could eliminate all abnormal statuses, including control statuses and curses, in his understanding.

It also had a healing skill and comprehensive enhancement. Combining enhancement, healing, and dispelling in one, it reminded Lin Moyu of the Legion Overlord he had encountered before. They had astonishing similarities.

Meng Anwen noticed Lin Moyu’s expression and remarked, “Seems like this skill is extraordinary.”

Even Bai Yiyuan could see that ordinary skills wouldn’t excite Lin Moyu like this.

“Indeed, it’s extraordinary. Summoning with such high spirit, it can’t be ordinary,” Ning Tairan said, curious about what made it unique.

Encouraged by Bai Yiyuan’s enthusiasm, Lin Moyu summoned ten Skeleton Warriors under the Witch General’s command, reducing the number of skeletons in the summoning space by ten, and the Witch General’s legion members became 10/10.

With a thought, the Witch General immediately used its skills.

Skill: Legion Enhancement!

A loud rumble!

Numerous halos appeared around the Skeleton Warriors, each emitting a slightly different yet menacing white light.

“Status!”

They hadn’t expected this summoned creature to be support-oriented, which surprised them slightly.

Similarly, the eerie white light illuminated as the skill Legion Healing was activated.

Ning Tairan raised an eyebrow, “It can heal too.”

The light transformed into countless starlights falling.

Skill: Dispel!

This time, they couldn’t discern it, so Bai Yiyuan asked, “What skill is this?”

“It clears all abnormal statuses, but at the current level, it can only remove statuses below level 10.”

In other words, a level 11 professional casting an 11-level control skill wouldn’t be dispelled.

Meng Anwen murmured, “Combining enhancement, healing, and dispelling in one, isn’t this a Legion Overlord?”

Ning Tairan pondered, “Indeed, it’s similar to the Legion Overlord. It doesn’t need to engage in combat itself, so it doesn’t require strong combat capabilities.”

Haha!

Bai Yiyuan laughed, “Great skill, an excellent skill.”

To him, Lin Moyu’s skills were getting better one after another.

The Necromancer profession showed no sign of decline! Any new additions? Continued from yesterday?

Lin Moyu was also very clear that even without the talent for comprehensive enhancement now, as long as he could summon all ten Witch Generals and max out their skills, forming a complete undead legion, with over 3,000 skeletons in the army, combined with his curse and other skills, he would be able to crush almost all professionals of the same level.

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say he’s the strongest among peers.

And if coupled with talent, with a 40-fold enhancement, challenging higher levels would be as easy as eating and drinking.

Ning Tairan stroked his beard and looked at Bai Yiyuan with a sigh, “You’re lucky to have such a good student.”

Bai Yiyuan chuckled, “What? Feeling inadequate?”

Ning Tairan snorted and ignored him.

Bai Yiyuan felt triumphant, “Let’s try again, see if there are any other skills.”

Lin Moyu nodded and took out the last shining scroll of basic skills.

Meng Anwen continued to help Lin Moyu restore his spirit.

A large amount of spiritual power poured in.

Golden light enveloped the White God Courtyard.

After a moment, the golden light dissipated, but no new skills awakened.

At this point, all skills below level 40 had been learned.

With both active and passive skills, there were a total of eleven.

In terms of various professions, this was considered few.

But each skill was highly useful, with no useless ones, unlike many professions that always had a few useless skills.

In Bai Yiyuan’s eyes, who had high standards, the Necromancer was still an extremely perfect profession.

Bai Yiyuan looked at Lin Moyu, “Tell me about your plans.”

Lin Moyu said, “Didn’t you mention there are tasks arranged for me?”

Bai Yiyuan laughed, “That’s not urgent. You tell me about your plans first.”

Originally, Bai Yiyuan planned to send Lin Moyu to the Mongolian Trial Grounds after reaching level 30. But now, seeing Lin Moyu’s skills, he decided to wait a bit longer.

Lin Moyu said, “I plan to go to the Tyrant Desert instance and see if I can encounter the Desert Fruit.”

… …… ….

This answer matched what Bai Yiyuan had in mind.

Meng Anwen said softly, “Your Summon Witch General skill is not easy to train. Even if you find the Desert Fruit, you may not be able to max it out.”

Consuming 4000 spiritual power each time was indeed challenging.

Even with a full set of Hell Whistle equipment, Lin Moyu’s spiritual power was only a little over 7000, unable to summon two at once. And as the skill level increased, the requirements would become higher.

But even if it’s hard, he had to train.

If one Desert Fruit wasn’t enough, then two, three times…

Meng Anwen continued, “What about after level 30?”

After level 30, you can’t enter the Tyrant Desert instance anymore, nor can you get Desert Fruits.

Lin Moyu thought for a moment, “It seems like my profession has a hidden characteristic.”

“What characteristic?” Bai Yiyuan asked eagerly.

With such a perfect profession, there was still a hidden characteristic?

Lin Moyu said, “My skills will level up along with me, as long as they’re at the same level as mine.”

The three were stunned!

This characteristic… is too powerful!

Others train their skills to death.

Every time they level up, they have to train their skills for a long time.

And the higher the skill level, the harder it is to train.

Especially for existences like Ning Tairan and Bai Yiyuan.

It’s incredibly difficult to level up skills by one level.

But Lin Moyu said his skills would level up along with him as long as they’re at the same level.

In other words, once is enough!

The three looked at each other…

Bai Yiyuan thought of his own bitter days of cultivating skills, and his self-esteem took a serious blow.

Waving his hand to dismiss him, “Go away, I don’t want to talk to you for now.”

Ning Tairan also said, “Leave quickly and disappear from our sight.”

Meng Anwen smiled lightly, “You go first, let the two old guys calm down.”

Lin Moyu left bewilderedly.

He arrived at the instance hall and plunged into the Tyrant Desert instance.

End of translation.
