Chapter 207: Two Top Academies, Covered in Boss Accessories

The news of [Fire God Palace] dungeon upgrading and having a Hell difficulty finally spread.

Students from various independent academies were eager to tackle the dungeon.

After all, legends about the [Fire God Palace] dungeon had circulated among career holders for many years. Many were curious about the ’elemental fragments’ from the dungeon.

Along with the dungeon information, news of Lin Moyu setting a new dungeon record also spread.

A dungeon record of just over 1 hour made others lose any thought of competing.

It didn’t matter – if they couldn’t be first, they could aim for second or third.

Lin Moyu had already created miracle after miracle. Being surpassed by him wasn’t shameful.

It seemed that for any dungeon Lin Moyu had run, others only had a chance to compete for second or third place.

As long as they made the top three, they were still strong.

Just as various academies were getting restless, another piece of news spread.

Bai Li Academy’s Bai Li Sheng had personally led a team, but returned in defeat.

Bai Li Sheng left the Dungeon Hall dejectedly, looking like he had suffered a huge blow.

Regardless of his usual personality, Bai Li Sheng did have real strength.

For him to fail when personally leading a team was surprising.

Immediately, some curious people went to inquire about the specific dungeon situation.

From the Bai Li Academy members, they learned about the dungeon conditions.

It was similar to other Hell difficulties, with very high monster strength.

They hadn’t progressed very far before being forced to retreat.

The key issue was being unable to withstand the constant, unending fire elemental attacks.

In summary, one buffer was enough.

At least five healers were needed; four was too strenuous.

DPS should be wind, water, lightning mages or physical careers.

Fire mages were useless.

There were some changes from Nightmare difficulty, but not drastically different.

The key was in the number of healers, and having a very strong knight as a tank.

With this data, the various academies sprang into action.

They had the people and equipment, quickly organizing teams to compete for second and third place.

Lin Moyu was unaware of all this, repeatedly running the dungeon in cycles.

He had become very proficient now, handling it with ease.

Because it was stable, he wasn’t in a rush, maintaining a steady pace rather than trying to be faster than his second run.

After another three consecutive dungeon runs, he finally gathered enough for the first Fire Crystal.

Placing the five Fire Crystal Fragments together, they automatically began to fuse.

Though crystalline, they became liquid during fusion.

It looked like bright red lava, filled with immense fire elements.

It should have been extremely hot, but in Lin Moyu’s palm it only felt warm.

All the fire elements became contained, barely radiating outwards.

After fusion completed, the egg-sized Fire Crystal looked like a flawless ruby, stunningly beautiful.

[Fire Crystal: Can be combined with other single-element crystals to form an Elemental God Stone, increasing the chance of career ascension during third transition. The more elements fused, the stronger the God Stone’s effect. Can also be used alone to permanently enhance fire resistance. After using alone, cannot benefit from Elemental God Stone.]

As Bai Yiyuan and others said, the Fire Crystal could be combined with wind, water, lightning, and light crystals to form an Elemental God Stone.

It greatly increased the chance of career ascension during third transition.

But Lin Moyu noticed some differences.

It wasn’t necessary to gather all five crystals. Even fusing just two element types could form an Elemental God Stone.

However, the effect would be much weaker.

And the limit wasn’t just five single-element crystals fusing.

It could be six types, seven types…

As long as you could find sufficiently pure single-element crystals.

The prerequisite was sufficient purity.

The ones dropped in Elemental Secret Realms wouldn’t work, as they contained too many impurities.

Elemental Secret Realms were places where multiple elements mixed, losing elemental purity.

Lin Moyu thought, “The common elements are wind, water, fire, lightning. These are also the most common elemental systems for mage careers.”

“Besides these, like Su Sheng is a light mage, and there are shadow mages specializing in curses and control, actually using dark elements.”

“Could there be other elements existing?”

Lin Moyu pondered, the rest would have to be slowly discovered by him.

As he was thinking, he left the dungeon.

The Dungeon Hall was much quieter now.

After three consecutive dungeon runs without setting new records, people were no longer constantly paying attention to him.

Lin Moyu found a relatively secluded spot to rest.

After five consecutive runs, over 10 hours of non-stop combat left him mentally and physically fatigued.

As his attributes increased, his stamina also improved correspondingly. He only needed to rest for a while to recover.

His experience had reached 43% of level 28. A few more runs and he could level up.

Roughly calculating, by the time he farmed three Fire Crystals, he would probably reach level 30.

A moment later, a strange energy fluctuation appeared in the plaza outside the Dungeon Hall.

Lin Moyu, who was resting, slowly opened his eyes and saw a group of people arrive.

Not just Lin Moyu, but the entire plaza fell silent when this group appeared.

It was the aura of boss accessories.

And not just one piece.

Ning Yiyi had a boss accessory, the Goblin King’s Ring. Lin Moyu was very familiar with this aura.

But Ning Yiyi only had one piece, so it wasn’t very strong.

Now, at least ten boss auras mixed together, becoming noticeably intense.

Lin Moyu was very curious what kind of team would possess so many boss accessories.

Even those independent academies at most owned a few boss accessories. Forming a team with so many was difficult.

As the teleportation ended, people saw this group’s appearance clearly.

Though they didn’t recognize the individuals, they recognized the uniforms and insignia, letting out exclamations of surprise.

“It’s Creation World Academy.”

“Why are people from a top academy here?”

“Strange, they rarely appear in public, always mysterious and arrogant. I’ve been at the university for years and have barely seen them a few times.”

“It’s said the top academies aren’t actually in the university, so it’s hard to see them here.”

“Really strange that they’ve come here.”

Summer Capital University had three top academies.

The strongest was naturally Creation God Academy.

The undisputed number one, perennially first without question.

After that were Creation World Academy and Phoenix Emperor Academy.

The two academies were comparable in strength, hard to say which was better.

But regardless of which academy, compared to other academies or ordinary university students, they were mysterious and powerful existences.

Creation World Academy’s team suddenly appearing here attracted a lot of attention.

“They all seem to have boss accessories.”

“Goblin King’s Ring, Fire Bug Necklace, Wind Spirit Earrings…”

“My god, though they’re all just gold-grade boss accessories, they’re almost full sets.”

“If only I could have even one boss accessory.”

Their voices were full of envy.

There were countless bosses in the world, innumerable dungeons.

Some dungeons dropped materials that could be crafted into special accessories, called boss accessories, with some magical attributes.

Below level 40, the best boss accessory was the Goblin King’s Ring.

Regardless of level, it was purely about attributes.

The Goblin King’s Ring could increase skill level by one.

Just this attribute alone made it the king of accessories below level 40.

Lin Moyu looked at this group, twelve people in total, both men and women.

After arriving, they said nothing, ignoring all the discussion around them and walking straight into the Dungeon Hall.

Lin Moyu didn’t pay too much attention. Coming to the Dungeon Hall was obviously to run dungeons. Since he couldn’t see inside, it wasn’t worth focusing on.

Someone followed them in, then ran out shouting, “They entered the [Fire God Palace] dungeon!”

Lin Moyu’s lips curved in a slight smile. So they were here to run [Fire God Palace].

That wasn’t strange.

They must also be after that legend.

The Dungeon Hall had fire, wind, and water elemental dungeons.

If they were all like [Fire God Palace], able to obtain corresponding elemental crystals that could be fused into decent Elemental God Stones,

It would still help with career ascension during third transition.

At this moment, the aura of boss accessories permeated again, even more intense than before.

Another team of career holders teleported over.

This team had even more boss accessories.

Their arrival again caused exclamations from the crowd.

“Heavens, Phoenix Emperor Academy has come too!”
