Chapter 2566: Jillian’s Pub

Date: Unspecified

Time: Unspecified

Location: Myriad Realms, Card World, Central Region, Central Academic City, Morningstar University District, Jillians’ Pub

”Boss, why are we here?” Henricks asked, glancing around the pub at drunk college kids either fighting or making out with loud music playing in the backdrop. Given his age, he clearly felt out of place.

Right then, a blonde college girl with smeared mascara bumped into him and snapped, ”Hey, watch it—” She froze halfway through her sentence, squinting at him as if trying to place a familiar face. ”You look like my grandpa. Wanna buy me a drink?”

”You still got it, old stud. Have fun.” Leaving Henricks alone with the drunk blonde, I headed upstairs to the VIP section and spotted the reason I’d come here. She was entertaining a few women tonight. Knowing her, she wouldn’t spend a single penny unless there was money to be made.

”Kid, where do you think you’re going— Sir, please.” The VIP lounge bouncer tried to stop me, but the moment he recognized me, his tone shifted and he stepped aside, inviting me in with respect.

I gave him a nod and walked up the open-riser staircase, my eyes drawn to the stunning silhouette of the curvy woman ahead of me. She was in the middle of giving a speech to a group of women seated on a massive C-shaped couch.

I was surprised to discover that she had already broken through and was only a step away from reaching the semi-demigod realm. However, if she managed to form her divinity in a single attempt, she could bypass that unnecessary stage entirely and join the prestigious ranks of card demigods who achieved it before turning a century-old.

The moment they noticed me, they started whispering among themselves, subtly fixing their dresses, hair, and makeup before sending a series of tempting smiles my way—completely ignoring the speech.

The girl delivering the talk remained oblivious to the shift in the room until her own body betrayed her. She suddenly pressed her thighs together, bent her knees slightly, and let out a soft, sensual moan before turning around. Her gaze snapped to me instantly, sharp and focused—like a hawk zeroing in on its prey.

”Wyatt, what are you doing here?” Jill blurted out, her face flushing with embarrassment even as her body moved on its own—closing the distance and jumping into my arms. Before long, she was already nibbling at my right earlobe, unable to stop herself.

”I thought you had your physique under control around me,” I said, wrapping my arms around her waist. My right hand traced up her spine, reaching the back of her head. My fingers curled around the base of her skull, guiding her head back gently. Her lips pulled away from my ear, a thin thread of saliva stretched between us.

It was obvious Jill wasn’t the one steering her body anymore. Her carnivorous womb had taken over again, slipping back into its stud hunting habits. The difference was that this time Jill’s mind was clear—she was fully aware, fully conscious—yet completely trapped inside a body ruled by that relentless force of her physique.

She wasn’t completely gone like the first time her physique flared up around me. I supposed that counted as progress.

Without wasting any more time, I activated my Myriad Devil Transformation to mask my various energy signatures. To the naked eye, I still looked like myself, but to her carnivorous womb, I was no longer the chosen prey. Losing sight of its target, it retreated back into slumber.

Jill wiped her lips and elbowed me in the ribs, grumbling, ”You did that on purpose.”

”Hey, you’re the one who said you had it under control,” I shot back, pretending to wince even though her blow didn’t even tickle. If I didn’t play along, she’d keep hitting me until I did.

”Whatever. Aren’t you planning to let me go now?” Jill asked, subtly trying to pry my arms from around her waist. Her cheeks warmed as she finally felt my firm meat pressed against her lower abdomen.

”Me? You threw yourself on me. Now, that I pitched a tent, you want to leave. You tease,” I said, pressing Jill’s crotch hard against mine and shifting slightly, not wanting the women who were watching the show to see my pants bulging at its crotch area.

”Aren’t you shameless? Unless you plan to commit, don’t you dare think of taking advantage of me,” Jill completely misunderstood my teasing as a booty call. I’d already made it clear to her that my heart was set on someone else, and as a self-respecting woman she refused to be the third wheel.

”Shameless? Who was the one nibbling my ear like she hadn’t eaten in days?”I shot back. She wasn’t wrong—I was taking advantage of her—but I couldn’t help but tease her, her body was just too vulgar and provocative.

”Unbelievable. Wyatt, let go of me right now,” Jill snapped. She still had feelings for me—wanted to be with me, even—but not like this. Not right after her body had acted up in front of everyone. The embarrassment from her carnivorous womb taking over was written all over her face, and it clearly rattled her.

”Don’t struggle. Just give me a few more seconds,” I murmured, pulling her closer and whispering the plea into her ear. At the same time, I loosened my grip around her waist. From that moment on, she could leave any time she wanted.

But she didn’t.

Instead, she relaxed, her resistance fading as her wrists settled lightly on my shoulders. Her soft fingers slid into my hair, and she looked into my eyes with a familiar, playful spark.

She didn’t mind my closeness—maybe even enjoyed it—but that didn’t stop her from using the moment to tilt the balance in her favor. That was Jill for you; she loved turning any situation into a bargain.

She opened her mouth, ready to throw out something smirking and sharp, when an arrogant voice cut in:

”Hey, asshole! Didn’t you hear her? She told you to let go!”
