Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

226: Experimenting with Mercury-sized GanymedeAs time went on, two and a half months quietly passed, and the Star Destroyer was gradually completed.

Zhang Yuanhang, accompanied by Academician Wu, Academician Sun, Academician Zhao, and other scientific researchers, became the first to board this most powerful battleship of Huaxia.

Closely following were the officers and soldiers of the Star Destroyer.

They joyfully boarded their Space battleship.

”Welcome to the Star Destroyer. I am the AI Xiao Sheng, and I will provide services to Everyone.”

The moment Zhang Yuanhang and the others stepped onto the Star Destroyer, the Star Destroyer’s AI Xiao Sheng awakened.

”Did you see the Star Destroyer’s main cannon? It’s so big, I love it!”

”This Star Destroyer is not just a little bit more advanced compared to the Azure Dragon Space Battleship I served on before!”

”I must have saved many people in my last life, otherwise, how could I be assigned to serve on a Star Destroyer right after graduation?”

”I really want to tell my family this news!”

...The officers and soldiers couldn’t help but touch the Star Destroyer.

”Everyone, go to your posts.”

”Our time is tight, you need to familiarize yourselves with the Star Destroyer as quickly as possible.”

Zhang Yuanhang said to the officers and soldiers who had just boarded the Star Destroyer.

”Yes!”

The officers and soldiers said in unison.

Then, led by their respective commanders, they went to their combat positions.

Zhang Yuanhang turned to look at Academician Wu, Academician Sun, Academician Zhao, and the others.

”Everyone, our task is also extremely arduous.”

”They need to familiarize themselves with the Star Destroyer, and we also need to check if the equipment on the Star Destroyer is functioning normally.”

”Later, each of you will lead two hundred Sentinel Mecha and begin to inspect the Star Destroyer’s equipment one by one.”

Zhang Yuanhang said to Everyone.

”Yes, Academician Zhang Yuanhang.”

Everyone nodded.

Then Zhang Yuanhang began to assign tasks to Everyone.

After the assignments were complete, Zhang Yuanhang gave an order to the AI Xiao Sheng.

”Xiao Sheng, maneuver the Star Destroyer to the side.”

”Clear out the position; the remaining Sentinel Mecha will begin constructing the second Star Destroyer soon.”

Zhang Yuanhang said.

The Star Destroyer is extremely important to Huaxia; it must gradually enter a ’dumpling-making’ mode (mass production).

”Understood.”

Upon receiving Zhang Yuanhang’s order, the AI Xiao Sheng ignited the engines and moved to the side.

As soon as the Star Destroyer cleared its position, Sentinel Mecha immediately began constructing the second Star Destroyer with parts.

At the same time.

The Capital also received news that the Star Destroyer was completed and was beginning its testing phase.

”Xiao Zhang’s speed is truly fast!”

”I didn’t expect it to be completed in just two and a half months this time.”

The Top Leader was incredibly surprised when he received the news, but then he considered the large number of Sentinel Mecha that had been deployed to Jupiter, and realized that such speed was quite normal.

”Chief, what should this Star Destroyer be named?”

Old Wang asked curiously.

The Top Leader stood up, walked around, and finally said, ”Let the people decide. Have our subordinates conduct a vote.”

Regarding the naming of the Star Destroyer, The Top Leader felt it was best left to the people.

”That makes sense.”

Old Wang nodded.

So he handed the matter over to his secretary, who immediately contacted someone to set up a poll on the official website.

”Damn, judging by this, the Star Destroyer must be completed; it’s already at the naming stage.”

”If you ask me, the first Star Destroyer should be called ’Yuanhang’.”

”The person upstairs is right, it should be called ’Yuanhang’!”

”Only the name of Great God Zhang Yuanhang is worthy of the Star Destroyer.”

”Yuanhang!”

...Regarding the naming of the Star Destroyer, without exception, all Huaxia people supported the name ’Yuanhang’.

Thus, in the online poll, ’Yuanhang’ stood out with a 100% approval rate.

The Top Leader and Old Wang also kept an eye on the voting results, and when they saw this scene online.

The two old men looked at each other and then laughed.

At this moment, the leaders of European countries were also very happy.

Because Eagle Sauce had revealed the news of the aliens’ arrival, they no longer restricted the work of their respective astronomical observatories.

They also discovered the completion of the Star Destroyer through radio telescopes.

”Phew, now I can finally sleep soundly.”

The Leader of Gaul Rooster’s heart had been hanging in suspense recently.

He had always been afraid that Huaxia wouldn’t be able to build the Star Destroyer on schedule, but now that the Star Destroyer was completed, everything was stable.

However, thinking of his own citizens, the Leader of Gaul Rooster felt an immense headache for a moment.

Many of them were actually exceptionally welcoming of the aliens’ arrival.

They even formed an association and held several fundraisers to grandly host the aliens.

At this moment.

Zhang Yuanhang sent an application to the Capital.

Zhang Yuanhang planned to conduct a test firing of the Heavy Proton Main Cannon.

The target was Jupiter’s moon—Ganymede.

Ganymede is even larger than Mercury, making it a perfect target to test the power of the Heavy Proton Main Cannon.

After all, Zhang Yuanhang wasn’t entirely clear about the power of the Heavy Proton Main Cannon; he had only been estimating it based on the design blueprints.

So Zhang Yuanhang submitted this application to the Capital.

Capital.

”Xiao Zhang, are you playing on such a grand scale this time?”

The Top Leader was momentarily stunned when he learned of the application.

”Chief, it’s actually good to let Xiao Zhang try it, after all, none of us know the true power of the Heavy Proton Main Cannon!”

”This time, not only will it let us know the power of the Heavy Proton Main Cannon, but it will also give Everyone a shot in the arm!”

Old Wang tried to persuade The Top Leader; Old Wang was very eager to know the power of the Heavy Proton Main Cannon.

”But wouldn’t it be bad to directly destroy Ganymede?”

The Top Leader was worried that the debris from Ganymede might pose a threat to Blue Star, the Moon, and the Space Factory.

”Chief, what’s there to worry about? Didn’t Xiao Zhang’s report say so?”

”The fragments of Ganymede will eventually be pulled into Jupiter, becoming part of Jupiter.”

”It won’t affect us.”

Old Wang took out Zhang Yuanhang’s report for The Top Leader to see.

It clearly stated that the subsequent impact of Ganymede would not threaten Blue Star, the Moon, or the Space Factory.

”Since that’s the case, then let’s use Ganymede for the experiment.”

”However, it must be broadcast globally.”

”I’m worried that the commotion will be too great and might lead the public to mistakenly believe it’s a prelude to an alien invasion.”

The Top Leader said.

With those foolish European countries and Eagle Sauce around, The Top Leader was truly worried that things might escalate into something earth-shattering later on.

So, it was better to put everything out in the open.

”Chief, your suggestion is excellent.”

Old Wang nodded in strong agreement.

With The Top Leader’s approval, Old Wang immediately had someone send a message to Zhang Yuanhang.
