Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

202: Zhang Yuanhang has developed a light-speed engine, and humanity is about to enter the light-speed era.”Holy cow!”

Qian Guo, who had personally fired the shot, was even more deeply shaken.

”Academician Zhang Yuanhang, are you saying this is a rifle?”

After seeing its power, Qian Guo truly felt that what he held in his hand was a cannon!!!

”That’s right, a High-Energy Particle Rifle. As long as there are no issues with the subsequent experiments, the Army’s standard rifle can be replaced with this one.”

Academician Zhang Yuanhang nodded and said.

”Excellent! What a great gun!”

Qian Guo’s mouth was practically watering over the rifle.

”Alright, let’s proceed with the next experiment!”

Academician Zhang Yuanhang said.

”Okay, okay!”

For the rest of the time, Qian Guo personally cooperated with Academician Zhang Yuanhang on the experiments. Even though he was drenched in sweat from exhaustion, he refused to let anyone else take his place.

Capital.

The successful experiment of the High-Energy Particle Rifle was immediately reported to The Top Leader and Elder Wang.

”Old Wang, it seems that our Huaxia must go to zhws-1.”

After learning of the power of the High-Energy Particle Rifle, The Top Leader had only one thought: to occupy zhws-1.

”Exactly. We’re just waiting for Little Zhang to develop a faster Space Battleship later.”

Elder Wang was also eager, but unfortunately, Huaxia currently couldn’t reach zhws-1 quickly.

”Bang bang!”

At this moment, the secretary rushed to The Top Leader’s office door with documents in hand.

Hearing someone knocking, The Top Leader and Elder Wang immediately looked over, ”Come in!”

After receiving permission, the secretary immediately opened the door and walked in, ”Chief, leader, the research base just sent a message: Academician Sheng’s team has overcome the hibernation pod technology!”

The secretary then handed the documents in his hand to The Top Leader.

Elder Wang also leaned over to look at the documents in The Top Leader’s hand.

”Very good, very good.”

The Top Leader was very happy.

The breakthrough in hibernation pod technology would bring great convenience to Space travel.

With hibernation pod technology, when a spaceship is flying in Space, only the On duty personnel would be awake, while the rest would enter a state of hibernation.

This would reduce the consumption of supplies and allow the spaceship to fly further.

”Hibernation pod technology needs to be experimented with. Why not let those terminally ill patients participate in the experiment?”

”If successful, when medical technology has advanced enough to cure their terminal illnesses, they can be awakened.”

”If it fails, they will have contributed a bit of strength to the motherland.”

Elder Wang suggested.

If it wasn’t for the hibernation pod technology invented by Academician Zhang Yuanhang, Elder Wang would not have dared to let people experiment so casually.

Once it failed, a living human life would be lost!

”Old Wang, what you said makes sense, but we can’t experiment on people at first. Let Academician Sheng and his team experiment with animals first.”

”Only after the safety of the experiment is truly confirmed can we proceed with human experiments.”

”Oh, and by the way, send this hibernation pod technology to Little Zhang to review and let him offer some suggestions.”

The Top Leader said.

”Mm-hmm!”

The secretary quickly stepped back to send a message to Academician Zhang Yuanhang.

Academician Zhang Yuanhang, who was in Rong City, received an email from the Capital. He opened it and his eyes immediately lit up.

He didn’t expect someone to have broken through the hibernation pod technology, which was very important for Huaxia at the moment.

”Our Huaxia has an abundance of talent!”

Academician Zhang Yuanhang smiled with satisfaction.

After carefully reading the technical data in the email, Academician Zhang Yuanhang strongly agreed with Academician Sheng’s research direction.

He immediately replied with two words—Feasible!!!

The Capital side, seeing these two words from Academician Zhang Yuanhang, felt relieved and began to fully support Academician Sheng’s research.

After finishing with the hibernation pod technology, Academician Zhang Yuanhang began to research the energy storage stone. While using the energy storage stone to create the High-Energy Particle Rifle.

Academician Zhang Yuanhang discovered a strange phenomenon of the energy storage stone.

After the energy storage stone collided with particles, it seemed to be able to unleash a huge thrust.

This phenomenon gave Academician Zhang Yuanhang hope for a breakthrough in engine technology.

Academician Zhang Yuanhang planned to use the Ion Engine and the energy storage stone to develop a new generation of engines.

This would increase the speed of the Azure Dragon Space Battleship.

However, the research had to return to Shancheng Military Base, where the equipment was better than in Rong City, and the High-Energy Particle Rifle could be fully tested.

Academician Zhang Yuanhang found Academician Zhao and Academician Sun, ”Two Academicians, I need to return to Shancheng. Everything here will be entrusted to you.”

”Okay, Little Zhang, don’t worry. With the two of us here, nothing will go wrong!”

Academician Zhao and Academician Sun patted their chests, assuring Academician Zhang Yuanhang.

”Okay, then I’ll trouble Academician Zhao and Academician Sun.”

”I’ll be leaving first.”

Academician Zhang Yuanhang finished speaking and left.

He took the High-Energy Particle Rifle, and also Commander Qian, the Army Commander who had become like a persistent plaster.

In the past few days, Commander Qian and the High-Energy Particle Rifle were inseparable. Wherever the rifle was, he was there!

Sitting on the Space Freighter returning to Shancheng, Academician Zhang Yuanhang watched Commander Qian repeatedly wipe the High-Energy Particle Rifle and smiled, ”Commander Qian, if you keep wiping it, this rifle will be usable as a mirror.”

Facing Academician Zhang Yuanhang’s teasing, Commander Qian smiled, ”Hehehe!”

”Little Zhang, when do you think this rifle can be equipped by our Army?”

Commander Qian looked at Academician Zhang Yuanhang with eyes full of anticipation and said.

”If the progress is fast, probably three or four months!”

Academician Zhang Yuanhang also factored in the time for building the production line and found that it would take at least three or four months.

”Excellent, excellent.”

Commander Qian was very excited to hear that it would only take three or four months.

”However, it also depends on the raw materials, as the main material for this rifle is mined on the moon.”

”Currently, the mine on the moon is still adjusting equipment and has not officially started mining this ore.”

”I don’t know if the mine will be able to start working by the time the production line is built.”

Academician Zhang Yuanhang then poured a bucket of cold water on Commander Qian.

”What!” Commander Qian said loudly.

”No, I need to report this to the chiefs. We must speed up the mining. If not, our Army will go to the moon to help them!”

In order to equip the High-Energy Particle Rifle as soon as possible, Commander Qian made up his mind to personally lead a team to the moon to mine the ore to ensure the normal production of the High-Energy Particle Rifle.

As soon as the Space Freighter landed, Commander Qian immediately went to contact the Capital, while Academician Zhang Yuanhang gave a wry smile.

Then he continued his research on the energy storage stone.

A month passed quietly.

During this period, Commander Qian really led Army soldiers to the moon to help build the energy storage stone mine.

The High-Energy Particle Rifle also completed testing, and the production line officially began construction.

Academician Zhang Yuanhang also made a major breakthrough.

Using the Ion Engine and the energy storage stone, Academician Zhang Yuanhang developed a new generation of engines: the light-speed engine.

That’s right, you heard correctly, it’s a light-speed engine.

Academician Zhang Yuanhang, in his office, stood excitedly in front of his desk.

”Humanity is about to enter the era of light speed!!!”
