Be Gentle, My Master

“Brother, Brother, wait for me,” Baili Xia chased after him energetically from behind.

Mu Xiaoyao, however, kept walking ahead, his pace not slowing down at all.

He walked with what he considered a not-so-fast pace, but Baili Xia found it quite difficult to catch up.

In the end, she almost gave up; propping her belly, gasping for air, and pleading, “Brother, I can’t walk anymore; my stomach hurts; please wait.”

The words “my stomach hurts” finally made Mu Xiaoyao stop.

He stood still and turned back to look at her.

Baili Xia took several deep breaths before she could catch up with him.

“Brother, why are you walking so fast? Did I say something wrong just now?”

He didn’t speak but, before she could fully react, suddenly pulled her over and embraced her in his arms, neither too lightly nor too forcefully.

“Brother!” Baili Xia was startled and quickly struggled, but she couldn’t break free from the grip of his long arms.

There were many students coming and going around them; maybe not many recognized her.

However, those who recognized Brother were as numerous as the carps crossing the river, too many to count.

Look, aren’t they frequently turning their heads to look at them now?

Brother was holding her; he was actually holding her at school!

What on earth did he want to do?

“Weren’t you supposed to accompany me back to the apartment?” Mu Xiaoyao, not looking at her at all, hardened his face and continued walking ahead with her.

Clearly, his body was still somewhat stiff, not used to being so close to a girl, yet he held her tightly, not allowing her to leave by an inch.

This looked just like someone being forced to the execution ground, obviously doing it against his will.

After thinking it over, Baili Xia immediately understood and widened her eyes, looking up at his profile.

Her little face flushed with anger as she said, “Brother, you did it on purpose.

You intentionally made me wipe your sweat in front of so many people earlier, to appear affectionate with you, and now you’re intentionally embracing me as we walk, to make everyone think we’re in a romantic relationship.”

“We’re about to get engaged soon, so what if not a romantic relationship?” His voice was both indifferent and cold.

What romantic relationship?

So cold like this, what kind of romance is that?

“If you don’t like it, then why are you doing this?” Baili Xia pushed him, but to no avail, she couldn’t move him.

Mu Xiaoyao’s long arm was still around her lower back, hugging her.

It seemed effortless for him, yet he didn’t let her escape.

Baili Xia really wanted to kick him, but she knew all too well that if she did, he might just pick her up sideways or carry her away on his shoulder.

She absolutely couldn’t bear the consequences of that.

So, she could only endure, letting him hold her as they walked in the direction of the apartment.

How much envy and resentment from other girls would she have to suffer along this long way back to the apartment?

“Brother, even if, even if you purposely want to show something, can’t you find another way?”

It would be better if he held her hand instead, at least better than hugging her like this.

She wasn’t used to being in his arms either, even though they both knew there was nothing between them.

But, as a mature man, being tightly pressed against a mature male body, she felt embarrassed and uncomfortable.

But Mu Xiaoyao couldn’t be bothered with her, not only not letting go but even holding her tighter.

Could this also be Uncle’s idea?

Intentionally having him act like lovers with her?

If Mu Xiaojiu were in front of her right now, she really wanted to give him a good beating!

That damn Uncle, does he even know what he’s doing?
