Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 1326: Not needed

A storm-like battle started between the Golden Hero and Red Hair. Both sides were in close combat and used many abilities. None of these abilities killed each other, so they used this method to find opportunities.

Golden Hero thought that it would gain an advantage. After all, it had removed Red Hair’s weapon. But when fighting, it realised that Red Hair’s punching and kicking skills were exceptional.

Also, what made it tough for it was the red hair. Why could it stretch? Be it fists and kicks, the red hair could wrap around them.

In terms of skin’s defense, the Golden Hero was stronger. But when the hair wrapped Red Hair’s fists and legs, she could fight head to head.

Don’t forget that Red Hair spurted magma as she moved.

The high-temperature matter turned the roof into a magma pond.

Pain spread into Golden Hero’s consciousness and stunned it.

Be it being hit by Red Hair’s spear or her fists, Golden Hero was only shocked, and didn’t feel any pain.

Once it felt pain, that meant that the defense that it was proud of was broken.

It lowered its head in shock and saw its legs stepping in the magma. It was smoking. Although it wasn’t much, it terrified it.
It looked at its legs and naturally saw its own body. Its body was also smoking. The magma scattered on its body. It didn’t notice before as it thought the battle would end quickly. It believed in its defense, but now, its body was covered in holes.

The only good news was that the magma hadn’t broken his bodyʼs defense.

Golden Hero wanted to flee. It noticed that this woman’s ability countered it.

Their close combat abilities were similar; her defense was exceptional. She even had magma that could melt its golden skin. How could it fight?

The level eighth mutated lifeform was intelligent, but it wasn’t as proud as humans. It had a thought and made a decision immediately.

It took two hits and chose to exchange damage. It forced her back and then jumped out of the battle circle to flee.

Its hands were spinning previously, and now, its legs were spinning. The hands spun to knock her weapon away, and now, its legs spun to flee.

This ability could be used as an attack but now, it fled really quickly.

But Red Hair didn’t chase. She raised her hands, and the magma on the roof flew into the sky simultaneously.

That spear also flew into the sky. The magma started to gather on the spear and wrapped it within to form a giant magma spear.

Be it Red Hair or Golden Hero; they were small before this red magma spear.

It was as if Golden Hero knew that it was in danger. It screamed, and its body jumped off the roof. It was about to fall.

As long as it got to the ground and entered the horde of mutated lifeforms, Red Hair wouldn’t be able to chase him.

But the scorching aura and thick strength were catching up.

It was as if the spear could break space open. It was right behind it.

The level eight’s viciousness was ignited. It realised it couldn’t dodge, so it turned half its upper body. The body turned around through its waist, and it punched with its fists to stop the spear.

There was a loud explosion that half the city could hear. The fists hit the magma, which had cooled and became extremely tough. Pieces of stone flew and scattered, but the spear continued forward. It struck its hands, and more shrapnels flew.

This was a very shocking and terrifying scene. Golden Hero’s arms continued to strike, but its golden color started to disappear.

This wasn’t the color dimming but because the magma was corroding and breaking its hands, causing its skin to break and damage.

When the magma spear revealed the weapon the Golden Hero had knocked aside previously, it roared.

There was no more skin on its hands, and it revealed the black bones, and then it was its arms.

But the Golden Hero didn’t care anymore. That red weapon was popping out from the magma. As it shouted in terror, it pierced through its arms and into the center of its chest.

Half of the magma spear struck its body. Red magma exploded from the solidified magma stone and scattered over its body.

It screamed and felt from the sky. The few dozen meters of height wasn’t much to it before, but now, its body that was corroded by the magma fell and hit the ground.

Red Hair walked to the edge of the roof and looked down. She saw Golden Hero raising an arm that was only left with bones, half broken. Its eyes, which had no eyelids and were missing the eyeball, revealed an expression only Red Hair knew.

That was… I yield.

Red Hair jumped off, and the undead dragonfish caught her. It circled and sent Red Hair to the ground.

She came to the side of Golden Hero, who was on its dying breath, and grabbed her spear.

“No need.”

She pulled her spear out and thrust it into its throat to slice its head.

She dug the demon crystal and looked toward the distance. Ye Zhongming rode Yangos and flew by.

…………………………………………………………

“Hey, I mean, my respected Master, are you sure these things can help me stop these ants? I think we can charge down. No one is our match, not even the nine-winged crow!”

Yangos mocked. Its dragon eyes looked down on the many iron buckets below.

“The nine-winged crow… Can’t?” Ye Zhongming smiled and asked.

“Er, maybe it can.” Yangos knew it bragged too much and even mentioned a level-nine lifeform.

“Go, finish this. We have other things we need to do.”

Yangos replied, and it started to descend. The intense energy current made it hard for Ye Zhongming to open his eyes. At a certain height, it opened its mouth and spat some flames.

The iron buckets below were lit and formed a giant explosion.

Flames and explosions spread through the long line of iron buckets. They were like dominos that stretched into the distance.

In a short while, the entire Xingzhou City was split by a flame wall into two.

“Scatter!”

Yangos flapped its wings. The buckets of powder hanging beneath its wings scattered toward the flames.

Yanngos was flying low, nearly touching the flames. Its body and stats meant that it wasn’t afraid of them. As it scattered the powder, it caused a chemical reaction. The flames turned a weird green, as if they were ghost fire.

Ye Zhongming and Yellow Ball were on the evil dragon’s back. They dealt with the attacks from the sky and ground to allow Yangos to focus on scattering the powder.

With the evil dragon’s speed, it took less than half a minute to finish scattering the yellow powder. The flame wall turned into a green flame wall.

The iron buckets were oil that Cloud Peak gathered from many places. There was petrol, vegetable oil, etc. Anything that could be ignited was all tossed into the buckets and placed here.

To get these buckets to their positions, Cloud Peak sacrificed a few dozen warriors.

Although none were from Cloud Peak’s battle squads, they were from factions close to Cloud Peak, so they were huge losses.

The yellow powder was something they bought from a potion maker from another faction.

Poison Ignition Powder.

There were two uses for it. One was to help the flame last longer and increase its temperature. The other was to make the flames poisonous. Anything that was burnt would be poisoned.

The flame wall was the key part of the second stage.

Splitting the battlefield!
