Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 1320: Zero deaths

“Currently… Cloud Peak has no casualties. I saw some of them being hit by the trees and stones, but they stood up right away. Even if they are injured, it wasn’t too heavy.”

“A third of the mutated apes are injured and dead. No losses for Cloud Peak.”

“Around 3000 to zero.”

The information spread back to the various factions, making the higher-ups speechless.

They envied Cloud Peak’s crystal weapons in the past and craved them. To be honest, the stronger the faction, the desire for such weapons lowered.

Compared to the Resistance Zone, although the crystal weapons were good, they could create Exquisite Floating Ball, and War Fortresses unique in the apocalypse. To them, these two things weren’t weaker than crystal weapons and were even stronger in some areas.

For example, Thousand Beast Villa. They had a large beast pool equipment that could control and nurture many mutated lifeforms. These fellows were very strong and could improve. You just needed to feed them. It wasn’t as hard as improving technology.

For example, Five Ring Money or Cannibal Chains who focused on trading. They dealt with various businesses and could use money to buy whatever they wanted. They could purchase evolution potions and all sorts of high-level equipment. Crystal weapons were good, but they had other things they could replace them with.

Until the Annihilation Cannons appeared, did their recognition and respect of crystal weapons reach a new level. These cannons could threaten high-level lifeforms. Cannons that could be created in scale were something Earth’s original weapons couldn’t replace. The only thing that could compare to the crystal cannons were the War Fortresses but they used nuclear energy. They couldn’t be infinitely replicated. Resistance Zone knew how many they could create, but that number wasn’t large.

There wasn’t a moment like this where they wished for the crystal weapons.
Other weapons were helping, like those two thousand rocket launcher-like things, traps, War Fortress, and even air-to-surface missiles.

But they knew that the crystal cannons were the main characters.

There were crystal explosions in the traps, crystal grenades thrown, and various cannons on the hills.

Just the loss ratio showed them what technological suppression was.

“Continue to monitor and report the situation.”

The various faction bosses consoled each other. This battle had just started, and the mutated apes would fight back soon. Especially that level eight ape, which was much stronger than humans of the same level.

Everyone was waiting, and they even looked forward to Cloud Peak’s deaths.

Victory would definitely belong to Cloud Peak. But if more of them could die, that was what everyone wanted to see.

“The Mutated Ape leader activated its berserk ability, and its body grew larger. It is as tall as a ten-story building! It tossed its allies over like stone!”

“The other level seven apes also went berserk. These high level evolved all have the same ability. That is too terrifying.”

“The other mutated apes are using various abilities. Stone skin, roar, fire eyes… Too many.”

“These mutated apes are terrifying.”

When they heard this news, the few leaders were more relaxed. Cloud Peak could win, but it had to be a tough victory.

Even the few factions that traded with Cloud Peak and had good relationships with them hoped that they suffered some losses. It wasn’t surprising for them to think that way.

If someone was strong, it was best if that someone was themselves. As for others, even if they were friends, it was best if they weren’t too strong.

Many experienced people started to estimate the final outcome based on the difference in combat strength.

But after a short while, no information came. The leaders found it weird. Shouldn’t this be when the scouts were the most excited? Wouldn’t they describe everything they see. Why was it so quiet?

Thus, the leaders couldn’t help but ask.

“Ah? That…”

“Report, the battle… Has ended.”

“Everything has ended.”

“Unbelievable, unbelievable!”

“They can do that?”

………………

“What is going on?”

The bosses were furious. The scouts were very reliable, so what happened today? After asking, an intel member was relatively calm.

“The battle has ended surprisingly. Cloud Peak’s high-end combat strength wasn’t used, and those who attacked were the ordinary battle squads. Facing the mutated ape’s counterattack, Cloud Peak’s weapons suppressed them. Two never-recorded crystal weapons appeared. One was the four long crystal guns; they were… Very powerful. It is so powerful that it could threaten the level-eight lifeform. With their shots, the giant ape leader turned into a living target and was killed within half a minute. The other level seven apes were mercilessly hunted after. There was another, which should be a systemized equipment. Four battle squads had around eight thousand to ten thousand of these. When these guns fired, they went from AOE slicing damage to penetrating and exploding damage. After hitting the target, they would explode. The shots were very quick, and this weapon was nearly perfect. If you talked about the weakness, it would be that they consume demon crystals quickly. Five level three crystals could only fire three shots! These new guns suppressed the mutated apes, and the ten thousand new guns formed a firepower net that no ape could pass through.”

“The battle ended within three minutes; the final number of apes was ten thousand. They started collapsing after half of them died and started fleeing. But the various Ying City Factions surrounded them—100 thousand against five thousand. There was no doubt. Although the battle is still going on now, it is a massacre. The losses… There would be some, but Cloud Peak themselves, only have a few injured… Zero deaths.”
