Alchemy Master

Chapter 1056, Rescued

Translator: Silavin

Qin Yichen was not without confidence to take on this strike.

Although the power of the Blood Beastmen Race was fierce and savage beyond measure, Qin Yichen was someone who had obtained the inheritance of the Demon Subduing Great Saint, and possessed a True Dragon Martial Soul. This was a Divine Grade Martial Soul that was impervious to all evil. Mere fierce and savage energy could not corrode him, and any Soul-seizing demonic sound could not shake his Divine Indestructible Soul Art!

“Supreme Tyrant Body!” Qin Yichen gave a low shout, and brilliant light suddenly erupted from his body, rising like a blazing Sun.

*Boom!*

The blazing Sun ascended, and the blood mist pervading this space between Heaven and Earth was instantly evaporated, while the originally suppressed Yuan Energy also began to boil.

At this moment, Qin Yichen’s aura had also become fierce to the extreme. His feet trod mysterious steps, his body moved like a swimming Dragon, and with a low roar, it resounded across the horizon like a thunderclap.

The muscles on Qin Yichen’s arms writhed, suddenly swelling nearly twice their size. Veins bulged upon them as if about to tear through his skin, and just as his arms were about to be unable to withstand that terrifying force, a pair of arm guards wreathed in black energy suddenly materialised, enveloping his arms.

*Boom!*

Immediately after, Qin Yichen threw a fierce punch, and instantly, the air within ten metres ahead was forcibly compressed and exploded, carving out a visible trail as it smashed towards the incoming skull.

*Boom!*

The two collided, immediately bursting forth with an explosive sound like a thunderclap. Subsequently, a mushroom cloud-like shockwave spread out magnificently from the point of collision, destroying everything in the surrounding area.

Moreover, everyone could see that at the point of contact, that tremendous force impacting upon the savage energy-wreathed skull immediately caused a crack to appear. Then, the skull suddenly shattered, resulting in a massive explosion.

The tremendous shockwave swept across like a tsunami, annihilating everything. Whether trees or boulders, under this shockwave, all were obliterated to dust.

Although Qin Yichen had been prepared, under this shockwave, he was still sent flying. The tremendous force made him feel as if his body and bones would shatter. Under the immense pressure, he coughed up blood.

However, borrowing the impact of this shockwave, he did not hesitate. Embracing both Little Ling’er and Avril together in his arms, he swiftly fled towards the distance.

As for that brown-haired Elf…

It was not that he could not save her.

Rather, he had detected something amiss.

Those from the Blood Beastmen Race were addicted to slaughter. How could they possibly leave survivors after they had secured Avril?!

Moreover, Avril’s appearance here seemed to be something the Blood Beastmen knew about.

What did this indicate?

There was an inside informant from the Blood Beastmen Race within the Elf Race!

As for who that informant was, it was hard to say.

However, it was certain that one informant was someone close to Avril!

Two personal handmaidens. One had died for her Mistress, while the other was still alive. What this indicated was actually quite obvious.

…

On the other side, the weaker Blood Beastmen were directly sent flying. The Blood Beast Captain stepped back more than twenty deep footprints, crashing into a giant tree before finally halting his momentum.

The giant tree behind him directly exploded.

Although he did not cough up blood like Qin Yichen, his chest was still heaving unsteadily.

The expression on his face became even more grave.

From the first time he encountered Qin Yichen, he knew this young man was not simple, although it was not apparent on the surface.

Facts proved his intuition was right!

However, he could not understand why someone clearly two Minor Realms lower than himself could actually contend with him in a direct clash of strength!

Naturally, he had never considered the possibility of the Human Race.

The Human Race, in the minds of all races on the continent, was a weak Race. How could such a powerful expert possibly exist?!

“Captain, should we continue pursuing them?” Those Blood Beastmen came to their Captain’s side in a dishevelled state, and one of them asked.

The Captain turned his head, staring at him with a sinister expression that made his heart feel uneasy.

What difference was there between continuing the pursuit and seeking death?!

Just now, he had originally prepared to kill Qin Yichen with one strike, then take Avril away.

Who knew Qin Yichen would actually block it?

Now having caused such a commotion, it would be difficult not to attract the Elf Race’s attention. Once discovered by the Elves, not one of them would be able to escape.

“Detestable brat, no matter which Race you’re from, once I find out, I’ll definitely tear you into ten thousand pieces!” That Captain stared hatefully at Qin Yichen’s retreating back, cold light flickering in his eyes. Although unwilling to give up, he still gave a low roar, “Withdraw!”

Now, it was no longer a matter of considering pursuing.

Rather, having failed to accomplish the Elder’s task, he had to consider how to explain the situation to the Elder.

Thinking of that Elder, the Captain’s expression couldn’t help but darken by several degrees.

…

Qin Yichen simply dared not look back.

He had deliberately created such a large commotion, but he was not certain whether the Blood Beastmen would give up.

However, this was the Elf Forest, so it would definitely attract the Elf Race’s attention.

Sure enough.

“Stop!”

A cold shout came from ahead, the voice very clear and cold.

Then, several sounds of breaking wind rang out, and more than ten Elves appeared around Qin Yichen.

*Cough cough…* Qin Yichen was about to speak when he instead coughed up blood. However, he opened his arms, revealing the two people in his embrace.

“Your Highness!”

The surrounding Elves, upon seeing the silver-haired Avril, all knelt on one knee.

“Who are you? Quickly release the Princess!”

The leading Elf appeared very tense, his gaze fixed tightly on Qin Yichen, as if ready to strike at any moment.

Because Qin Yichen was clearly not a member of the Elf Race.

At this moment, with Avril in his hands, it would be difficult for this Elf expert not to be tense.

“You must not harm Big Brother Qin!”

Avril stood up, positioning herself in front of Qin Yichen.

“Your Highness!”

The leading Elf looked at her with much confusion, but still knelt on one knee and saluted her.

He had too many doubts in his heart.

He was the Captain of this outer patrol Elf squad. Upon seeing the anomaly, he had swiftly rushed towards this location.

The explosion.

The injured Qin Yichen.

And their Princess.

This left his mind somewhat short-circuited, unable to understand what exactly had happened.

“It was Big Brother Qin who saved me.”

As Avril recounted the events, these Elves immediately understood what had occurred.

“Blood Beastmen!?”

“They actually still dare to appear in our territory?!”

“What audacity! To actually dare show disrespect to the Princess!”

These Elves appeared very indignant. Although they wanted to pursue the Blood Beastmen, considering Avril’s situation, the leading Captain still decided to first escort Avril back first.
