Chapter 807, Withstanding One Move

*Boom!…*

In mere breaths, the crimson Yuan Energy vortex loomed above Qin Yichen’s head. Witnessing this, Yi Buzui’s lips curled into a savage smile as his arm suddenly swung down with brutal force.

Instantly, a deep explosive roar reverberated through the air. The crimson Yuan Energy vortex spun rapidly, wave upon wave of formidable crushing force sweeping down towards Qin Yichen.

From this posture, Yi Buzui intended to utterly destroy Qin Yichen with overwhelming, devastating might!

The crimson Yuan Energy vortex rotated furiously above Qin Yichen, pressing downward with terrible oppressive force. His robes whipped violently in the pressure, and even through the protective layer of Yuan Energy, his skin felt the faint, stinging pain of that crushing power.

Observing this scene, the crowd below the duelling platform wore mocking smiles. Those who dared challenge opponents several Minor Realms above them immediately upon arrival were rare indeed. After all, anyone with basic understanding knew that those who entered the Sacred Lands were without exception geniuses of great talent. Even those strong enough to fight above their Realm in the Imperial Dynasties had to behave themselves here. Everyone here basically possessed such capabilities.

Take Yi Buzui, for instance. To regard him as an ordinary Peak Stage Martial Emperor would be a grave mistake. Moreover, even if one possessed trump cards enabling cross-realm combat, could a mere Early Stage Martial Emperor truly contend with one in the Peak Stage?

Those several new Disciples had initially harboured a thread of hopeful expectation. But sensing that terrifying pressure which would drive them to despair, their fists clenched tight, their expressions turning bitter in this moment.

At that instant, within the duelling platform, Qin Yichen’s gaze suddenly sharpened. In the next breath, he stepped forward explosively. His five fingers clenched, transforming palm to fist as faint Yuan Energy coiled upward.

Then, as the Yuan Energy twisted, stacks upon stacks accumulated.

First stack, second stack, third stack…

In the span of a single breath, Yuan Energy surged along Qin Yichen’s arm like a transparent flame. Astonishing Yuan Energy fluctuations rippled outward gradually. Upon his hand, seven stacks of force had already accumulated!

Even with his physical strength capable of contending with Late Stage Martial Emperors, Qin Yichen felt that upon reaching the seventh stack, his body transmitted an extremely uncomfortable swelling pain.

However, this was far better than his previous condition.

[Still not enough!] Qin Yichen understood that while seven stacks of force were formidable, it clearly was not enough to withstand Yi Buzui’s strike.

As the Yuan Energy vortex was about to engulf him, Qin Yichen gritted his teeth. Yuan Energy surged forth once more upon his fist, visible Yuan Energy fluctuations sweeping out madly.

*Pft!*

With the eighth stack of force, Qin Yichen immediately felt his blood boiling within. Upon his arm, vicious wounds split open.

“Condense!” At this moment, Qin Yichen’s gaze grew increasingly intense. Then, his right hand’s five fingers clenched tight. As the power gathered, he struck out with one punch.

*Boom!* As Qin Yichen’s punch launched forth, the space before him seemed to collapse halfway. Then, under countless astonished gazes, it collided heavily with the descending Yuan Energy vortex.

*Bang!* At the moment of impact, this massive duelling platform trembled violently. Everyone clearly perceived that despite the Array’s barrier, even the earth beneath their feet quivered.

What shocked everyone most was that the Yuan Energy vortex they had assumed would easily crush an Early Stage Martial Emperor was actually forcibly torn apart beneath this single punch.

This scene obviously exceeded Yi Buzui’s expectations. He naturally understood very clearly the might of this attack. Although executed casually, even ordinary Peak Stage Martial Emperors would struggle to withstand it. Yet he truly could not fathom where this mere Early Stage Martial Emperor Realm brat found the courage to meet it head-on, and moreover, to actually shatter the Yuan Energy vortex!

“Hmph! An arrow at the end of its flight!” Yi Buzui snorted coldly, his icy voice resonating indifferently.

*Boom!* As his words fell, from within the already dispersing Yuan Energy vortex, a crimson Yuan Energy beam approximately two metres in diameter roared forth. Under numerous gazes, with lightning speed, it struck Qin Yichen viciously.

Almost at the instant of contact, Qin Yichen’s body was sent flying backwards by that Yuan Energy beam containing terrifying fluctuations.

*Bang!*

With a tremendous crash, Qin Yichen’s figure scraped a long mark upon the ground, tumbling into the rolling yellow dust ten metres away.

“As expected, he couldn’t even block one move!”

“New Disciples must possess the awareness of being new. Don’t be like that fellow. In the end, he did not even know how he died!”

Witnessing this scene, sighs of resignation immediately arose from around the duelling platform. This brat who spoke so arrogantly ultimately could not even withstand one strike.

Amidst these sighs, those several new Disciples clenched their fists one by one, their gazes fixed intently upon the rolling dust, their eyes filled entirely with tension.

Under numerous gazes’ observation, the smoke and dust within the duelling platform finally dispersed slowly. The scene within gradually became clear.

First entering everyone’s vision was a deep furrow within the duelling platform extending over ten metres. At the furrow’s end, a blurred figure gradually appeared in everyone’s line of sight. That figure knelt on one knee, both palms thrust into the ground.

“He blocked it!”

Seeing this figure still possessing breathing fluctuations, several new Disciples immediately cried out somewhat uncontrollably, their voices filled with delighted surprise.

“He withstood it!”

“This new Disciple…”

Around the duelling platform, those gazes all focused upon him. After a brief silence, people cried out in shock.

Although he paid a small price, he truly had withstood this strike.

Under countless bewildered gazes, Qin Yichen slowly withdrew his hands from the ground. Fresh blood dripped from his fingertips as his figure also rose slowly. His gaze turned towards Yi Buzui opposite him. Simultaneously, a voice filled with mockery reverberated through the duelling platform.

“Your first move is nothing more than this!”

Hearing this voice, the clamorous sounds filling the venue also fell silent.

“Bloody Hell, he is too arrogant!”

“Does he think that because he luckily blocked this move, he has the ability to contend with Senior Brother Yi?”

“Today’s new Disciples truly don’t know the immensity of Heaven and Earth!”

His attitude immediately aroused the dissatisfaction of numerous Senior Disciples.
