Chapter 1687: The Intermediate Stage

Grey left the Moonlight Faction and headed for the Pyrmond Faction. If he wanted to see the others, heʼd have to head in another direction which would take longer than the time he wanted to travel back.

He got to the Pyrmond Faction a few days later, his status in the eyes of the Elders of the Pyrmond Faction had elevated to the very top. His background wasnʼt the reason for this, rather, it was his strength. Being able to defeat a Seventh stage Sovereign takes him to the very top in this world. Strength was all that mattered, and a Seventh stage Sovereign is strong enough to open a Faction in the Aurora Continent. Their Faction might not be considered as one of the best Mid tier Factions, but it would still be a force to be reckoned with, unless they have to deal with those of higher cultivation stages than their Faction Leader.

The Pyrmond Faction Leader summoned Grey as soon as he knew of his arrival.

….

The Faction Leaderʼs cave.

The Pyrmond Faction Leader took a glance at Grey, and he couldnʼt help but recall the first time he saw Grey, as at that time, he was only in the Overlord Plane. In a matter of a few years, the youngster he thought would be great in the next thirty years or so, has indeed become great, but it didnʼt take that long, it was shorter than he could imagine.

”Would you like to take on a role as an Elder of the Faction?” He asked as he looked at Grey, he didnʼt need to ask about his journey, since everyone heard about it.

Grey was taken aback by the Faction Leaderʼs straightforwardness, as well as the offer.

”Iʼm in no position to be an Elder.” He bowed, politely refusing the Faction Leaderʼs offer.

”Your age doesnʼt matter, and you donʼt have to do anything while youʼre an Elder. Given your current position in the Faction, you are still obligated to carry out some missions after some time. But once you become an Elder, you donʼt have to worry about that.

Grey knew about this, but he still shook his head, ”I understand what youʼre saying, itʼs just, I still prefer being considered as a junior.”

”I donʼt think thereʼs anyone in this Continent that considers you a junior.” The Faction Leader replied to Greyʼs words. He gave up on the matter since it was clear that Grey clearly didnʼt want to take on such a status here.

The duo spoke for a bit about the upcoming war, and then Grey left. His friend in the Pyrmond Faction wasnʼt around, he could only head into his place for some rest.

…..

Time flew by and before long, two months had gone by since Grey left the Lyttelton Family. Read new chapters at mvl

The advances of the Gnomes have been made clear, and from what has been said over the past month, some Gnomes have been gathering at a particular region.

In the woods a few hundred kilometers away from the Pyrmond Faction.

Grey was standing in the sky, arrays could be seen on both his arms, two arrays perfectly overlapping each other. The larger one was spinning around the smaller one.

A large fire snake could be seen, the snake was around seven meters long. When Grey started using this method of inscribing, he could only create a three meters long fire snake, but his strength has grown to the level where he could create a seven meters long snake. This was thanks to the fact that he could create two arrays now.

From what he learned from his grandfather while he was training with him, there were only three stages of this pattern of inscribing, which meant having three arrays overlapping each other. The beginners stage was the use of one array on both arms, and then thereʼs the intermediate stage which is the use of two arrays, and lastly the advanced stage, which was the use of three arrays on both arms.

Once he could get to the advanced stage, then thereʼs a good chance that this fire snake would get to fifteen meters at least. As at that time, the strength of the fire snake will be shocking.

Grey looked at his arms and a smile appeared on his face.

”Finally, the intermediate stage.” He sighed as he said.

Over the past two months, he has been training nonstop, and luckily he has been able to get to the intermediate stage of the inscribing method.

Void appeared close to him and said, ”Some people are heading towards this direction.”

Greyʼs eyes looked in the direction the auras were coming from. He recognized one of the auras as that of the Pyrmond Faction Leader.

ʼItʼs only been a month. Whyʼs he here?ʼ He thought to himself.

He knew firsthand that the battle hadnʼt started yet, and he was even the one who leaked the place the Gnomes were supposed to use as a point of entry to the Aurora Continent. If the Gnomes had used that spot, they wouldʼve been able to come with a large number of experts in a short time and cause a heavy blow to the experts of the Aurora Continent before they would even know what hit them. The strength of the next best one wouldnʼt be able to take two Late stage Sovereigns passing through it within the space of ten days. This means that the Gnomes have to take their time, or look for another way into the Aurora Continent.

The Seventh Prince doesnʼt know all the portals available, and neither did Grey. So he knew the Gnomes might still have other ways to get into the Aurora Continent.

”Come on, letʼs go meet them.” Grey flew in the direction the people were coming from.

Void was at the Late stages Rank Eight Magical Beast. After he woke up from his sleep a month ago, he was already in the Late stages, his strength was a bit better than a random Seventh stage Elemental Sovereign.
