Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 12: Beating Five People

Zhang Fei then asked with a nonchalant shrug. ”Do you have a problem with me holding Guo Lanʼs hand, Han Jue?”

Han Jue raised his eyebrows; he was shocked to see Zhang Feiʼs change, because not only his physique had changed but also his mentality. In the past, Zhang Fei had always chosen to avoid him, but now he was brave enough to challenge him. He then asked with a frown. ”Donʼt you know that Hong Ming is interested in Guo Lan?”

”Why should I care about Hong Ming?” Zhang Fei shrugged nonchalantly, even though he hadnʼt learned any fighting techniques. But he could feel that his physique was much stronger than normal humans, especially after he learned the heavenly body tempering, so he no longer felt afraid of them.

”You-!”

But Zhang Fei interrupted him. ”If youʼre looking for trouble with me now, donʼt blame me if I beat you up, Han Jue.”

Not only Han Jue and the people around them, but even Guo Lan was flabbergasted at his words; somehow she felt that she didnʼt know Zhang Fei, who was standing in front of her. It made Guo Lan wonder in her heart. ʼWhat happened to Fei? Not only has his body changed drastically, but heʼs also become more manly.ʼ

Han Jue was darkened by that, then he shouted and tried to punch him. ”How dare you challenge me, looser!”

Zhang Fei shook his head, then stretched out his hand, and punched Han Jueʼs fist directly.

*Cracks*

They could hear the sound of bones cracking as soon as their fists smashed against each other, and Han Jue screamed in pain as he held onto his hand. ”Argh!”

”I warned you, right?” Zhang Fei shrugged nonchalantly, and Guo Lanʼs eyes lit up at that. She was amazed to see Zhang Fei become so strong.

”Beat him!” Han Jue shouted, commanding the four people behind him.

The four people did not immediately attack Zhang Fei, especially after they saw the condition of Han Jueʼs hand; they took the iron rod near them.

Guo Lan was shocked to see that, and she tugged at Zhang Feiʼs sleeve. ”We have to get out of here right now, Fei!”

However, Zhang Fei turned to her with a smile, then gently patted Gui Lanʼs head, making her blush, as he said. ”You stay behind, Lan. Let me handle them.”

”But-”

”Trust me, okay?”

Guo Lan didnʼt know why Zhang Fei was so confident, she then nodded, and immediately retreated away from them.

*Clang... Clang...*

Four of Han Jueʼs men immediately surrounded Zhang Fei as they pounded the iron rods in their hands into the ground. The people around them were horrified to see that, but no one dared to help Zhang Fei.

”Quickly beat him to a pulp!” Han Jue shouted as he endured the excruciating pain in his hand. Hearing that, the four immediately swung their iron rods at Zhang Fei.

”Watch out, Fei!” Guo Lan shouted from behind, she was afraid something would happen to Zhang Fei.

*Clang... Clang...*

Zhang Fei gave a slight smirk at their actions, then casually dodged their attacks as he inwardly muttered. ʼIs this also the effect of the divine senses? Their movements seem so slow.ʼ

Mei laughed. [Of course, master. After all, they are mere mortals, so their movements are meaningless in your eyes. But if your enemies are cultivators, especially those who rely on speed, then you wonʼt be able to dodge their attacks this easily.]

ʼEn, I know, Mei.ʼ Zhang Fei nodded slightly.

*Clang... Clang...*

Guo Lan and the crowd looked at Zhang Fei in shock because he was able to dodge four peopleʼs attacks so easily, and his expression also looked so relaxed.

*Clang... Clang...*

Han Jue was dumbfounded, as none of his menʼs attacks landed on Zhang Feiʼs body, and he muttered in shock. ”How is that possible?”

After trying to attack Zhang Fei for a few minutes, the four of them gasped heavily, and they stared at him like a freak.

”Are you guys done attacking me?” Zhang Fei asked as he clenched his fists. ”If you guys are done, then now itʼs my turn to attack you.”

Zhang Fei immediately attacked the person closest to him, and he punched that personʼs stomach hard; the person was instantly blown away by his punch.

*Bam*

The person fell hard to the ground and instantly lost consciousness. The other three looked at Zhang Fei in horror; they immediately turned around and ran away.

”Do you think you can run from me?” Zhang Fei immediately jumped at them and then kicked their backs one by one.

Guo Lanʼs and the crowdʼs jaws dropped because Zhang Fei was able to jump so far, and she inwardly exclaimed excitedly. ʼFei is amazing! Heʼs become so strong now!ʼ

The three of them fell unconscious immediately after Zhang Fei kicked them in the back, and blood could be seen pouring from their mouths. Seeing that, Zhang Fei sighed softly as he muttered to himself. ”I only kicked them in the back once, but they passed out just like that.”

Then Mei reminded him. [You must learn to control your power, Master. Since you have a demon and a beast fox physique, plus the effect of the heavenly body tempering, so your strength is much higher than mere mortals like them. Fortunately, none of them died, but they wonʼt be able to move for a long time.]

Zhang Fei nodded in agreement with Meiʼs words. Since he had only changed for a day, so he still couldnʼt control his strength. Then he turned to Han Jue, and he said casually. ”Now theyʼve all passed out, so youʼre the only one left, Han Jue.”

Han Jue was horrified by Zhang Fei, he unconsciously peed in his pants, and the next second he fell unconscious from being so scared.

”Disgusting!” Guo Lan yelled when she saw Han Jue pee in his pants, then ran to Zhang Fei, hugged him, and excitedly said. ”You are really amazing now; you can even beat all five of them at once, Fei!”

”Are you going to keep hugging me like this, Lan?” Zhang Fei asked with a playful smile.

Guo Lan blushed again. She wanted to let go of her hug, but suddenly Zhang Fei hugged her back. It made her face redden, and she shyly spoke. ”I donʼt mind if you hug me, Fei.”
