You call this a projection?

Information concealment? Information blockade?

Perhaps for ordinary people, or even for mages, this method is very useful.

But for Emiya Shirou, who has projected the [Pseudo-Hermit Purple]...

He doesn’t need to search for clues at all.

Nor does he need to find other people who might know this information and use hypnosis or similar magecraft to force the information out of them.

Even if no traces of information remain on the internet, it doesn’t matter.

In the face of the invincible [Pseudo-Hermit Purple] and its Hermit-style ability of Spirit Photography, no one can hide information from Emiya Shirou.

Therefore, not only Tohsaka Rin and the others, who didn’t yet understand what Emiya Shirou was planning, but even Julian, who was located in this parallel world, saw it—

Within this perspective that only a Stand user could see, the computer, entangled by the purple thorns of [Pseudo-Hermit Purple], was playing footage that looked like it belonged in a science fiction movie.

A colossal hull, which almost occupied the entire computer screen and couldn’t even be contained within it, had shockingly entered their field of vision.

If it had only been that, Julian and the others would at most have dismissed the imagery on the computer screen as some new sci-fi film. After all, although they were all mages, they weren’t truly like ancient people who knew nothing.

But the footage that continued to play from the computer screen was constantly shattering their perception.

Because one after another, world leaders they had only seen on television news were frequently appearing in the video projected on the computer screen!?

What kind of movie could afford to invite them to participate?

And what kind of movie would dare to put current world leaders—and so many leaders of different countries at that—into a film?

”This is...?!” Julian stared blankly at the computer, looking at the content playing within it in disbelief.

”This is the method I mentioned to save the humans in this parallel world... No, I should say that this method had already been discovered by the humans of this parallel world themselves,” Emiya Shirou said. ”Combining the power of magecraft and science, they are building a spaceship capable of leading humanity into space to find a new habitable planet before the Earth becomes completely unsuitable for human habitation.

Under the technological explosion brought about by magecraft in the field of materials, humans don’t even need to search for too long; they can directly select Mars and terraform it to make it humanity’s second home.”

Of course, just as the Type-Moon world has ”cheat” technologies like magecraft that are very convenient in the realm of science, the planets in the Type-Moon world are not ownerless.

The nine major planets of the solar system in the Type-Moon world, including the Moon, all have alien existences, possess their own planetary will (World’s Deterrence), and the strongest beings created by that will—the Ultimate Ones (UO).

If humans want to fully land on Mars and turn it into their second home, they must defeat the Martian UO.

Truth be told, this isn’t actually a difficult task.

As long as the Earth in the Type-Moon world hasn’t followed the Tsukihime world line, it means that the Zelretch (Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg) in these parallel worlds has already beaten down Crimson Moon, the UO of the Moon.

Doing it now is just beating up another planetary UO.

Moreover, the Mage’s Association has more than just Zelretch to rely on.

The Atlas Institute, also part of the Mage’s Association, is full of tech geeks who love to carry forward the ”self-destructive spirit” of scientists, sealing away all sorts of weapons they have researched that could destroy the planet within the Atlas Institute.

For mages in the Type-Moon world, aliens are like gods.

But if these aliens are facing not mages, but Magic Users and scientists, that is a completely different scenario.

”So...” Julian blankly turned his head away from the computer screen back to look at Emiya Shirou.

”So, whether or not the [Pandora’s Box] is opened, and whether or not Miyu is used to make a wish, will actually have no impact on humanity,” Emiya Shirou concluded.

And when this radical statement was uttered by Emiya Shirou, not to mention Julian, even Tohsaka Rin and the others looked at Emiya Shirou with expressions full of confusion.

This was different from what Emiya Shirou had told them at the beginning about the situation in this parallel world.

Didn’t he say that humanity in this parallel world was in dire straits and that it was necessary to sacrifice Satsuki Miyu to save them?

How did it turn out now that humanity in this parallel world was actually completely fine?

However, knowing that Emiya Shirou possessed ”Future Sight,” they didn’t say anything about it, merely listening quietly to the conversation between Emiya Shirou and Julian as they usually did.

”Then, what were we...” Julian said, his voice somewhat choked.

”You were accelerating the extinction of humanity,” Emiya Shirou picked up the thread. ”Originally, before the [Pandora’s Box] completely eroded the Earth of this parallel world, humanity should have had enough time to migrate entirely to the nearby Mars.

But when you chose to quickly open the [Pandora’s Box], humanity truly fell into this countdown to extinction.”

”...”

After a long silence, Julian said in a low voice: ”Did I do something wrong...?”

”No, Julian, you actually didn’t do anything wrong,” Emiya Shirou shook his head. ”After all, your true intention was to open the [Pandora’s Box] to let Pandora truly die.

Acting with this goal in mind, it was natural for you to want to open the [Pandora’s Box] as quickly as possible.

If there is any mistake you’ve made, it’s that you still don’t know what it is you truly want to do, or what you truly need to do, even now.

To want to save Pandora, to let her die truly so she no longer suffers from this eternal life, you must quickly open the [Pandora’s Box], and for that, even sacrificing the humans of this parallel world is acceptable.

Conversely, the same applies.”

And the result of wanting everything is that you save nothing.

Emiya Shirou did not say this last sentence.

But Julian, who had seen how the Emiya Shirou of this parallel world had given up on saving the world to save Miyu Satsuki, could understand and hear the words that this Emiya Shirou hadn’t spoken.

”...Is that so? I really lost from the very beginning, didn’t I?” Julian sighed deeply. ”Unable to make a decision, I lost to Emiya at that time.

And as a result, after losing once, I, who hadn’t grown at all, lost to you, Emiya, as well.

I really am...

...a piece of trash who can’t do anything.”
