World Evolution: Starting With The Wind Monarch

”Chaos Race?” Evan raised an eyebrow at Alice’s serious voice.

”If you had gone to the sub-academy, you would have learned that the Chaos Race is currently the strongest race in the world,” Erza spoke with a sigh.

”Those damn bastards are nothing but warmongers who wage war everywhere. The number of planets they have destroyed so far is so many that it’s difficult to even keep count of them.”

Liam nodded and added.

”It was only after the Light Alliance was created and many races joined forces together that the Chaos Race slowed down. If not, this world might have already fallen under their control.”

Evan frowned deeply upon hearing their words.

”So the Light Alliance was created to deal with this Chaos Race?”

”Yes,” Alice nodded. ”The Chaos Race is simply too powerful. Only by gathering together can other races cope with them.”

Liam drank a mouthful of soup and shook his head.

”But even with the alliance of many races, it’s still difficult to defeat the Chaos Race. On top of that, they can create something called Chaos Essence. Once you are implanted with it, you will become a sub-member of the Chaos Race and will be completely loyal to them.” Liam looked at Evan and spoke seriously.

”I have heard about many people who were part of the Light Alliance but were implanted by Chaos Essence, and then they turned into loyal minions of the Chaos Race.”

Evan was stunned upon hearing Liam.

”Turning into a sub-member of the Chaos Race? You mean this Chaos Essence can change people’s race?”

”That...” Liam scratched the back of his head. ”I am not sure about that.”

Evan looked at Alice and the others, and they also shook their heads.

”Our knowledge about them is also limited since none of us have ever faced a real member of the Chaos Race. However...” Alice paused, and a glint flashed in her eyes.

”Since you are coming with us, you will soon see some people who are implanted with Chaos Essence.”

Evan raised an eyebrow when he heard Alice and immediately understood what she meant.

”You all came here to deal with some people who are implanted with Chaos Essence?”

”Yes,” Alice nodded. ”Just like the Light Alliance, there is also a Chaos Alliance. All the people of this alliance are people who are implanted with Chaos Essence. We accepted a task from the academy to deal with these people.”

”Task from the academy.” Evan’s eyes flickered. ”The academies established by the Light Alliance on every planet are sub-academies, so there must be a main academy as well, right?”

”Yes,” Alice nodded. ”It’s located on Planet Agroth. It’s the headquarters of the Light Alliance and the place where the best talents of the Light Alliance gather. In fact, most of the powerhouses of the Light Alliance have once been students at the main academy on Planet Agroth.”

Liam nodded, and his eyes shone brightly.

”The main academy on Planet Agroth gathers the best resources available in the world. Whether it’s rare skills, artifacts, techniques, or technology... As long as you become a student there, you can get the best of the best.”

Liam looked at Evan and smiled slightly.

”In fact, the task we accepted is related to our admission to the main academy. We might not seem like it, but we are the best students of our batch and have the highest chance of getting accepted into the main academy. Once we complete this task, our chances of being accepted there will be over eighty percent.”

Evan listened to Liam, and the more he listened, the more surprised he became.

Especially when he heard about skills and artifacts.

’A place that gathers the best skills and artifacts of different races...’ His eyes couldn’t help but gleam slightly.

Through his senses, he felt Liam and the others’ levels and could tell all of them were already at Level 50, at the peak of Rank One.

Although his own level was low, he felt that when it came to strength, he was definitely stronger than them.

’Since they can join this main academy, I should be able to join as well.’

Seeing his expression, Alice seemed to know what he was thinking and spoke.

”If you want to join the main academy as well, you will need a recommendation letter from the sub-academy. Without it, it’s impossible to join it directly.”

”Hmmm?” Evan raised an eyebrow when he heard Alice.

Seeing him looking at her, she continued.

”Most of the students who join the main academy are the primary focus of cultivation by the Light Alliance so that they can fight against the Chaos Race, so its selection criteria is very strict. You first have to show your worth at the sub-academy and get a recommendation letter from there. Only after that can you join the main academy.”

”Is that so...” Evan nodded in understanding and felt it was a pity.

”Also, you first have to reach Level 50. Without reaching Level 50, you can’t even get a recommendation letter,” Kevin added.

”It’s not that difficult to reach Level 50.” Evan didn’t feel much about his level, as with his current strength, it was very easy for him to increase his level.

Alice looked at the hanging moon in the sky and calculated the time.

”Alright, we should move now,” She stood up. ”We have already wasted a lot of time. If we delay any longer, those people might run away before we catch them.”

Kevin and the others nodded and also stood up.

Liam quickly packed up the things in his Storage Ring, and in just a few minutes, they were ready to leave.

”Hey Evan, can you keep up with us? If your Agility is not high, you can call me Handsome Bro, and I will carry you,” Liam said to Evan with a grin.

Evan’s mouth twitched at Liam’s words, and he spoke in a flat voice.

”No need, my Agility is decent. It won’t be a problem to keep up with you guys.”

”Is that so?” Liam showed a regretful expression. ”If you can’t keep up, just call me Handsome Bro, and I will help you.”

Evan ignored this guy and immediately followed after Alice and the others, who had already begun to move.
