Chapter 408: Chapter 203: Above Secret Techniques – Secret Technique (Combined Chapter)

“It’s too late, even if we contact the authorities now, it would take at least five days for someone to come, and by then everything would be too late…” Magis shook his head and said.

However, the words of his trusted aide did give Magis an inspiration.

But what he thought was not about rescuing, but assassination!

After a moment’s thought, Magis’s eyes flickered and he took out a black pill the size of a fingernail from his bosom and handed it over, saying to his trusted aide, “Grind this thing into powder, and find a way to mix it into his medical treatment.”

“Given the severity of Parix’s injuries, he will definitely need some treatment before we can torture him for information,” Magis said confidently.

Over the past two years, he had seen many such cases in the prison, so he was experienced.

The trusted aide’s eyes widened in shock as he looked at the pill in front of him!

He certainly knew what it was, a highly lethal poison, used by spies like them for suicide when they were in desperate situations.

Although he did not know how effective this medicine would be against a Great Knight, he believed that Parix, severely injured as he was, could certainly not withstand the potency of the drug and would most likely die immediately!

The key point was, he had not expected that right after he opened his mouth to suggest a rescue, his boss had turned around and asked him to assassinate the man!

This…

The confidant mumbled twice, but still decided to voice his confusion, “Sir, do you really intend to go through with this… He is, after all, a Great Knight of the organization!”

Magis immediately shook his head as if it were a rattle drum and said, “No! Whether he is a Great Knight is no longer important now! What matters is that he is a bomb about to explode at any moment.”

“Once our esteemed General can’t withstand the torture, at that moment, no matter you, me, or anyone else in Meister County, we will all be caught in one net by the empire.”

The confidant was stunned for a while, then his eyes lit up, and looking at Magis with great admiration, he gave a thumbs up and said:

“Sir, your decisiveness is this!”

Magis continued:

“Moreover, I will immediately inform the organization! Parix is a Great Knight, yes, but only at the first level of power, equivalent to an official knight among knights. This time, I will apply to the organization to directly dispatch a senior Great Knight to eradicate Rein, this cancer!”

“I have a feeling that if we do not eliminate this guy, he will sooner or later become a major threat to the organization!”

The confidant nodded in agreement and added, “You’re right, sir! This Rein has caused such great losses to the organization, I believe the organization will definitely regard him as a thorn in their side.”

“As long as the organization still has plans for Meister County, they will surely support your decision and send someone!”

…

—————–

Dawn was breaking.

Rein’s new residence.

Since the battle had ended very late yesterday, Rein had gone to rest shortly after returning to his room.

And early this morning, Rein began to preliminarily review the battle from last night.

Only through constant reflection and summary can one continue to improve!

Rein recalled that during his fight with the resistance army’s General Parix, what struck him most was the final axe strike delivered by his opponent.

At that moment, the blade of the axe had gathered a substantial force, making it incredibly lethal!

This technique seemed to be a very clever combination of native force and combat skills.

Unlike the attacks of a greatsword master, this involved more integration of native force and combat skills, involving a massive amount of native force, which seemed to be a feat only achievable at the level of a Great Knight.

And while the greatsword master focused more on conviction and combat skills, native force was secondary.

Unfortunately, Rein had not learned this content from Master Ganther.

Moreover, he did not have information on the technique Parix had used, otherwise, with his master-level control of combat skills, he should have been able to initially decipher the intricacies involved.

Additionally, the utility of the high-grade Knight Armor began to gradually show itself.

If he had been wearing just a chromium suit at the time, his injuries would definitely have been much more severe.

Now, with the blocking of the high-grade Knight Armor, his body needed to bear much less lethal damage.

Armored layers never go out of style!

For him, the issue was balancing the weight of the armor and his mobility.

Lastly, Rein felt that taking on a fight across a significant class difference always carried a high risk, so he needed to quickly advance to the next level.

From the battle, given his current strength, he felt he had already surpassed the upper limit of a Peak Knight, and if one had to categorize, calling him an almost Great Knight would be more appropriate.

Moreover, he was also a third-level wizard apprentice, although self-taught, which cast a big question mark on his combat ability, but even so, combining both aspects, he still managed to defeat the other party after only suffering minor injuries.

Another Peak Knight would likely be undoubtedly defeated!

Of course, regarding last night’s battle, Rein had a clear mind why he chose a direct confrontation then.

Even if the strength of this resistance army General was a bit stronger, Rein reckoned he could handle it.

He had the Sorcery Scroll ‘Summon Hurricane’ in his pocket, and if he truly couldn’t match the opponent, he would decisively use this witchcraft scroll, and he also had a Healing Scroll ‘Life Blossom’.
