The Martial Unity

RUMBLE!!!!!!!

The world shook violently as the sum totality of the weight of a section of Gaia converged upon Rui. The sheer force, pressure, and heat generated around him and at him were unfathomable, reaching unprecedented levels at a certain point.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

RUMBLE!!!!!

“Rgh!!!” Rui grimaced through gritted teeth as he did everything in his power to withstand the extraordinary force. It was so intense that he wasn’t even able to use Etherea Corpa or Outer Divergence. The conditions of the fabric of space and time made it so that he couldn’t activate the technique to sever his connection with the Higgs Field.

Outer Divergence was completely obsolete as well due to the fact that the quantum gap between all objects had disappeared with the sheer force with which the mantle converged around him.

It made true contact with him in what was one of the most painful sensations he had ever experienced. It took him Aqua Existentia and pluripotent exotic matter and Weaving Blood just to barely survive.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

RUMBLE!!!!!

He activated the Gene Realm, dedicating everything towards enhancing his healing factor until it reached a cancerous realm. His antithesis side was already cancerous in order to adaptively evolve to the gu, but now he expanded that even further to the point where his body would explode with cellular division and regeneration.

It just barely managed to slow down the rate of destruction that the converging mantle around him inflicted upon him with continuous nuclear fusion and the weight of a planet crushing down on him. The clashing of destruction and creation allowed him to discover the one and only thread towards surviving such a catastrophe. His blood-red eyes shone with blinding brightness as he activated the Forge of Creation.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

RUMBLE!!!!!

Even as the world shook violently with a horrifying explosion, a single remark escaped him.

“Exploding Existence.”

It was a technique that he had spontaneously created to adaptively evolve to the horrifying tribulations he was forced to survive. It derived its principles from the models of life that existed in great pressure.

Although not comparable to what he was undergoing right now, there were many lifeforms that existed at extraordinary depths in the ocean and withstood the crushing oceanic pressure at those depths despite being extremely fragile.

A human could easily crush them within their hands, yet they could survive devastating pressures at great depths. How was that possible?

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

RUMBLE!!!!!

The answer was quite simple. They balanced out external pressure with an equal and opposite internal pressure, so much so that they would explode if removed from those depths. To a certain extent, humans also did the same. Humans bore one atmosphere of pressure, despite the fact that it was equal to a kilogram per square centimeter. He partook in the same principle, altering his very existence to the point that his ‘natural environment’ was the environment that he was being subject to. The Tree of Life model also helped with that, allowing him to gain a deeper understanding of exactly what kind of lifeform would survive under these circumstances if shaped exactly like him.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

RUMBLE!!!!!

The pressure mounting on him only continued increasing as the amount of nuclear fusion he endured began increasing, leading to more and more destructive energy washing over him. And yet, he withstood it.

His body expanded, or rather exploded, against the incoming force and pressure as the two of them canceled each other out, allowing him to survive a tremendous amount of force and energy as if it were his very nature.

He opened his eyes in the face of nuclear explosions.

Despite all the destruction thrust upon him, it was the blood-red suns in his eyes shining with blinding brightness that were the most powerful force there.

A single remark escaped him.

“My turn.”

RUMBLE!!!!!!!!

The world shook even more violently as he activated the Scriptures of Terra. The Scriptures were created precisely for such an environment, surrounded by the depths of earth. He activated the Forge of Creation in conjunction with the Scriptures, creating a new technique.

“Seismic Regression.”

His goal for the technique was simple.

To locate the alien virus itself.

From the very moment the chamber of creation collapsed in on him, he knew that an artificial force was altering the trajectory of the falling mantle, crust, and continent. It had altered the trajectory of an entire section of the planet.

RUMBLE!!!!!!!!

That meant that the chamber of creation was merely one of the many apparatuses that the alien virus had at its disposal. It had willingly sacrificed the chamber just to destroy Rui after he defeated the embodiment of the Noosphere, and it still was capable of so much. That meant that the virus was even more powerful than he had anticipated. More of a threat than he had anticipated, if it was able to display such power.

It only strengthened his conviction even more.

“I must find the alien virus and destroy it immediately.”

He couldn’t tolerate such a dangerous existence, living underneath the surface of the world his daughter existed within. He could tolerate such a powerful and dangerous entity having such extraordinary control and power over their haven and their world. RUMBLE!!!!!!!!

“Seismic Regression.”

He began spreading an unfathomably complex wave of individual seismic pulses and vibrations through the very fabric of Gaia, permeating them through the mantle and the crust of that section of the planet.

If something was altering the vectors of an entire section of the planet, then it was undoubtedly exerting direct force to do so. He didn’t sense any abnormalities in space and time, nor did he sense a powerful electromagnetic field that could explain the trajectory converging upon him.

That left only one option.

“Geological.”

Most likely, the alien virus was using a geological method to control the vectors of force.

Seismic Regression would allow him to detect that method and trace it back to its origin.

The alien virus.

The countless vibrations he created with each and every cell in his body began spreading outwards in all directions, collecting the information of the entire world, before returning to him.

It was a seismic X-Ray of half of the planet.

His eyes widened.

They widened with recognition of what they beheld.

“Integrated information.”

RUMBLE!!!!!!

The entirety of Gaia contained a profound amount of integrated information, the same kind of integrated information that his brain contained, or the body-consciousness responsible for his Autocorpus contained.

The silicate-carbon cycles permeated across the entire planet, regulating temperature over millions of years. When Gaia grew too hot, the weathering of rock increased, pulling carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere to cool things down.

The thermohaline circulation acted like a global circulatory system, transporting heat, salt, and nutrients across vast distances, ensuring that changes at either end of the axis of rotation would inform each the chemistry of each other.

Gaia was an open dissipative system. As energy flowed through its crust, atmosphere, and mantle, it created complex structures of integrated information, such as weather patterns and tectonic platforms.

The rotating geodynamo of the planet’s mantle generated a powerful magnetic field that protected the atmosphere, creating vast abstract structures of integrated information facilitated by the electromagnetic force.

She was alive.

She was conscious.

And she was… infected.

By an alien virus.

An alien virus that he had finally come to identify.

That he had finally come to locate.

The blood-red suns in his eyes shone with blinding brightness as a single remark escaped him.

“Found you.”
