“Third apocalypse-class siege line is confirmed.”

“Fifteenth calamity-class siege line is confirmed.”

“Enhanced corps is strategic dispatch is confirmed.”

“All systems are active.”

In the Strategic Command Headquarters of the Kandrian Empire, Emperor Rael oversaw a vast array of teams, analysts, and operators coordinating with the final implementations of the Solution of Harmony and the solutions of the Esoterist. A massive screen tracking a wide variety of the final systems put in place to account for the permanent absence of Martial Sages all flashed green.

The final preparations had been completed, allowing the Kandrian Empire to be absolutely Sage-independent not just for individual battles but also for extended periods of time that would allow them to handle Sage-level monsters forever.

A large number of protocols, having begun a long time ago, were finally coming to a conclusion not just in the Kandrian Empire but across the entire continent as the Sage-level powerhouses were in the final hour before the departure of the Martial Sages.

“The Britannian Empire has confirmed its status.”

“The Republic of Gorteau has confirmed its status.”

“The Sekigahara Confederate has confirmed its status.”

“The Gen Temple has…”

One by one, each Sage-level powerhouse confirmed all of its final preparations. Having commenced ten days ago, each of them had aggressively rushed and pushed themselves to the absolute limit when it came to ensuring that they didn’t fall behind in the established timeline.

One by one, the Strategic Command Headquarters communicated with all Sage-level nations and organizations across the entirety of the continent, confirming that each one of them was on track to execute the plan on schedule.

The air grew jubilant as human civilization collectively took the final steps towards taking on its first offensive against the Beast Domain and the Beast Incursion. For four long years, all of humanity collectively played defense as an endless surge of monsters rampaged across their domain, claiming it for the Beast Domain and commencing the esoterification of their territory.

“Now…” Emperor Rael announced with a strong, intense tone. “Now we will be the ones to attack.”

His eyes sharpened with fierce determination.

The entirety of the Strategic Command Headquarters waited.

They waited for the final word.

And it came soon enough.

“Commence the Solution of Harmony.”

With that, a number of commands and messages were conveyed to many parties across the entirety of human civilization as a number of protocols were implemented rapidly.

Far away in the chambers of the Sage-level dispatch facility of the Kandrian Empire, Rui’s comm artifact beeped, drawing his attention.

His eyes sharpened.

“It’s time.”

His determined gaze swept across that of all of his peers. “Let’s go.”

Immediately, all twenty-eight Martial Sages of the Kandrian Empire moved as they exited, coming across a massive aircraft waiting for them outside of the dispatch facility. A massive metal vehicle with large, wide wings waited for them on the other side. It has a sharp structure designed to minimize air resistance, giving it a rather sleek look compared to unwieldy carriages.

“Woah…” Kane murmured with widened eyes. “What the hell is that?”

“Courtesy of the Esoterist,” Rui replied. “It’s a jet. We can’t afford to waste any energy simply traveling to the Beast Domain on foot, wading through the Beast Incursion. Not to mention…”

VMMM…

A set of stairs descended as the back of the aircraft opened up. Inside was more than just room for all of them.

There were dozens of coffin-like stasis chambers prepared for each and every single Martial Sage to rest in to recover from the aftereffects of their Realms of power.

“…They also serve as our haven when we need it the most,” Rui elaborated. “This thing is our lifeline. It will be parked on the outskirts of the Central Highlands and is designed to be extremely stealthy and durable.”

The Martial Sages stirred as they ascended upon the vehicle as the doors behind them shut, taking their seats across the wide benches on either side. Soon enough, the engine revved as the jet began moving at high speeds before taking off.

Dozens of such aircrafts took off simultaneously from different Sage-level nations and powerhouses from across the entire nation as all of humanity coordinated their Sage transport and drop-off into the depths of the Beast Domains.

Fifty-six such aircrafts carrying a whopping two hundred and thirty-four Martial Sages from across all of human civilization simultaneously converged upon the Beast Domain. They traveled at extraordinary speeds as the Esoterist’s revolutionary alcubierre drives propelled the crafts forward with the very fabric of space and time, much like Martial Sages themselves did.

With the esoterification of human civilization, communication had grown extremely difficult. It was impossible to coordinate all the Martial Sages with simple comms devices at their disposal. The infrastructure needed to ensure that communication was active en route and, to a certain extent, even in the Beast Domain was considerable and required all Sage-level powerhouses to combine their resources while deploying the technological expertise and ingenuity of the Esoterist to produce a vehicle that served as transport, a haven, and a means of communication.

This allowed the craft to travel at speeds that no other man-made vehicle ever had prior. The jets traveled at extremely high altitudes, using powerful esoteric stealth technology that prevented the rampaging beasts and monsters across human civilization.

The timing of the departure of each jet and their speeds were such that each of them was primed to enter the Beast Domain at the same time, ensuring that they would confront the Central Highlands simultaneously.

Humanity, on the other hand, began experiencing the tumult of not having Martial Sages as a safety net anymore. If some Martial Masters failed in stopping a Sage-level beast, there were no Martial Sages who could come to bail them out. They would be doomed.

This reality bore heavy on the Martial Masters, who knew of the departure of the Martial Sages, causing them to fight more fiercely and desperately to ensure that the unthinkable didn’t happen.
