The Martial Unity

Rui’s eyes flared with a blood-red glow as he activated Megamind, elevating his cognition to extraordinary heights. In order to accomplish what he was hoping to accomplish, he would need to process an enormous amount of information.

He would need to gaze upon the entire continent all at once.

“Omnivoyance.”

RUMBLE!!!!!

The world shook.

It shook as he gently manipulated the very fabric of space and time across the entire continent, ever so slightly bending it to guide light towards him unimpeded. His eyes became satellites upon which all that light converged upon.

And just like that, he could see everything.

Everybody.

Seconds and minutes passed by.

Rui simply gazed upon the entire world patiently as he collected data on all his targets, formulating preliminary predictive models and SOUL models on all of them. “Omnihypnosis.”

Having already sealed his Martial Embodiment to prevent it from genociding much of the continent, he repurposed it for the purpose of casting a hypnosis across much of human civilization.

The same hypnosis that he would cast on groups of Martial Artists in different nations to break them through. He cast it upon all Martial Artists in the entire world.

A feat that would have been impossible in the past, but with the Martial Soul, his cognition encompassed not just the subconscious mind but the entirety of his brain and all its neurological potential across all neuron connection combinations.

With Megamind, he elevated his cognition to an even higher realm of power and processing, allowing him to process the information that he needed to in order to cast the hypnosis that he needed to.

At the sheer scale that he was operating on, precision and accuracy was more important that potency. Even a nano-degree off at his end would translates to kilometers off on the other side of the continent.

If he had Gigabrain, he would have been able to complete the task swiftly, but he didn’t want to sleep for another month and then lose control and destroy the Esocline Federation singlehandedly.

Not to mention genociding all of human civilization.

RUMBLE!!!!!

The world shook as Rui cast a hypnosis across the entire continent. With the manipulation of space, he could see and show to the entire continent. He could apply the principles of misdirection and hypnosis to this grand method of communication.

And he did.

Across the entirety of the continent, human beings began to hallucinate fighting themselves. They began to hallucinate being trapped in darkness, forced to brawl with themselves as their doppelgangers attacked them, moving as they would. Rui altered the intensity and the complexity of the light meant to misdirect their consciousness and impact their subconscious mind such that children and elderly would be excluded.

Everybody else, however, was fair game to his hypnosis.

“Aaah!!!”

“WHAT IS THIS?!”

“HELP! HELP! HELP!!!”

Countless humans suffered under torturous hallucinations, suffering immensely mentally. Martial Masters and Martial Sages leaped to action with alarm and shock as they watched their people suffer under a hypnosis of unknown origin. They immediately activated their Realms of power, aiming to protect their people with domain barriers.

“Do not intervene.”

They froze as they heard Rui’s voice.

From across the continent.

His tone was unyielding.

They gritted their teeth, staying their hand. The Dawnbringer wielded a tremendous amount of influence across the entirety of the continent as the greatest contributor to humanity as he was right now. On top of that, many of the Martial Artists around the world recognized what he was doing, having seen it be in one form or the other.

And thus, they simply watched as the Dawnbringer cast his power across the entirety of the continent.

A large number of human beings experienced nothing but torture.

However, there was another large set of human beings who were in exactly the right time and place to experience the benefits that this little hypnosis offered. Countless adolescents and young men and women who had taken up arms to fight against the beasts and monsters of the beast tides.

They had gained Martial Foundations with the extensive combat training programs that had been introduced in human civilization upon the advent of the Beast Incursion. However, due to the apocalypse that had been beset upon them, they never got the chance to experience the exploration stage that would eventually allow them to break through to the Apprentice Realm.

Rui’s hypnosis compensated for that deprivation. It compensated for the complete absence of the Exploratory Phase that Foundational students would have gone through. That they deserved to go through. As they fought themselves in the depths of his hypnosis, they discovered more about themselves in that brawl than they had in the entirety of their entire lives. Rui’s hypnotic doppelganger increasingly grew accurate to their real-life equivalents, allowing them to discover themselves more than they ever had.

It allowed them to discover their Martial Paths.

RUMBLE

An epidemic of Apprentice-level breakthroughs erupted across the entire world. Countless Martial Apprentices erupted with unmatched scale in the entirety of the history of humanity as countless humans broke through to the Apprentice Realm.

Nations gained a sudden surplus of Apprentices unlike anything they had ever seen before as their lower end Martial power was greatly enhanced in the blink of an eye. The weakest of nations gained a massive enhancement in their net Martial capital with the breakthroughs bestowed upon them. Countless humans, many of whom fought beasts and monsters, broke through to the Apprentice Realm, growing stronger in the blink of an eye. The Esocline Federation was no different as countless MECHA initiates broke through to the Apprentice Realm right before the Esoterist who gaped with shock.

In his journey, Rui had limited himself to only the strongest of nations, as it was physically impossible for him to travel to every single polity that existed. He had hoped that by helping out the strongest of nations, it would alleviate pressure from the weaker nations.

This time, Rui helped every single polity in the entire world. And yet, Rui was merely getting started.

“Omnihypnosis,” he murmured once more as he directed his power to a different group this time.

This time, he targeted Squires and Seniors, subjecting them to his extraordinary Adaptive Evolution, dominating them in hypnotic battles, threatening to break their Martial Paths.
