The Martial Unity

The world shook as Rui exerted his extraordinary power.

He set out to accomplish the impossible.

Resurrection.

It was a feat that even the Divine Doctor had failed to accomplish.

It was the name of the most extraordinary technique that Rui had ever created. Resurrecting the dead was thought to be absolutely impossible even with the most powerful of esoteric substances in existence.

It wasn’t a matter of raw power.

The two impossibilities of resurrection were its informational and operational aspects.

An extraordinary amount of information constituted life and was needed in order to resurrect somebody the way they.

Rui had already overcome this hurdle

With the Angel of Laplace, the large soul model, and her current physicality, he had all the data that he needed.

The operational aspect was equally difficult.

He needed something that allowed him to control not just every cell in her body, but every molecule as well. The extraordinary resolution that was needed even in theory was far, far beyond even most high-tech instruments that mankind possessed.

The highest degree of resolution a remote operational device had was in the scale of the

It was impossible.

And yet, a chilling whisper escaped him.

“Womb of Rebirth.”

RUMBLE!!!

The world shook.

It shook as he bent heaven and earth.

It shook as he warped the very fabric of space and time to his will.

An extraordinary domain unlike any other before it.

The domain was a barrier.

A barrier designed to help him operate on Amare’s body on a quantum level.

The idea was inspired from the concept of optical tweezers which were a technology that used light to control, levitate, and exert force on an individual nano-particle.

However, optical tweezers were too insufficient for the purpose of overcoming the operational impossibilities of resurrection.

Controlling metabolism with optical tweezers was impossible.

That was why he created something superior.

“Quantum gravitational tweezers.”

A barrier constructed with 1,000,000,000,000,000 quantum gravitational tweezers.

Each quantum gravitational tweezer was comprised of a system of revolving near-singularities that created superimposing gravitational waves that leveraged the principles of the Casimir Effect to exert control the biochemistry within Amare.

RUMBLE!!!!!

Rui’s expression grew strained as he pushed himself to the very limit. Supplying the energy needed to fuel a quadrillion quantum gravitational tweezers was truly exhausting, he needed to convert not just the matter within his body into energy, but also the matter of heaven and earth into energy under extraordinary temperatures and pressures within the barrier of the Womb of Rebirth to sustain the extraordinary energy expenditure of the techniques.

On top of that, the cognitive load of this technique far exceeded any other technique he had ever created in his entire life. Not even the large soul model could compare to the astronomical amount of information that he needed to process each second.

He was not operating on Amare.

No.

He was operating on every single cell in her body.

On every single molecule.

Hundreds of quantum gravitational tweezers operated on every single in her body, working furiously to undo Amare’s death.

His first priority was to halt post mortem biological decomposition that had already begun in her body. He aggressively deployed the sum totality of his power to undo the biochemical degeneration that had already occurred in the five minutes since her death.

The deprivation of oxygen had begun leading to a cascade of reactions where enzymes had begun breaking down cell membranes in a process known as autolysis.

He held her cells together with force while preventing enzymes from breaking them down any further.

Simultaneously, another thing that took much of his focus and energy was halting the acidification of her body that had begun due to cells failing to produce energy, resulting in toxic byproducts that would reduce the Ph levels in the body.

He halted this by manually extracting all the acidic components, molecule by molecule, with the Womb of Rebirth and doing what a functioning circulatory system would have.

He forcefully prevented blood from coagulating, keeping it circulating and moving as much as he could.

Simultaneously, he prevented calcium ions from entering her bloodstream upon her death that would cause muscles to stiffen, a phenomenon known as rigor mortis. Almost all of his focus and energy was dedicated to simply halting a hundred such biochemical processes that had commenced immediately upon death.

RUMBLE!!!!!

The sheer amount of energy that the Womb of Rebirth required was extraordinary even though the domain ended up exerting very small micro-effects within Amare’s corpse that wasn’t visible even to the naked eye.

Each quantum gravitational tweezer drank exponentially more energy than it ended up outputting, as the purpose of the technique was delicacy, precision, accuracy, and control, not power.

He needed to create many overlapping gravitational waves to produce the narrow channel within which the Casimir Effect could be evoked to manipulate the molecules within her Body with quantum energy.

A feat that no other Martial Sage in existence could have pulled off.

A feat that required the sum totality of everything that Rui had to offer.

And yet, this alone was not enough to bring Amare back.

Death was so extraordinarily difficult to overcome that it took every ounce of Rui’s extraordinary power just to neutralize. It took every ounce of his power to even make the smallest of dents in.

But he did indeed make dents.

Small as they were.

He slowed down, halted, and slowly undid the biochemical degradation that had commenced within her body. He protected every ounce of progress by forcefully isolating chemicals, compounds and molecules in their place, preventing them from reacting with each other and doing more harm.

Bit by bit, he cleaned up the build of acid and increased the ph level. He entirely froze all autolysis within the body and held together her cells with force. He prevented the release of calcium ions that stiffened her muscles and began depleting calcium and circling them back to her bones.

An enormous amount of power went into simply halting the extraordinary phenomenon of death.
