The Martial Unity

Five minutes had passed since her death.

The complexion of skin had begun to grow pale.

Her gaping wound has already halted its bleeding.

Her blood had spread across the darkness of the Gu.

Her eyes were lifeless.

Hollow.

Vacant.

A single tear trickled down her face.

Her expression was frozen in regret.

Regret at having failed.

Having failed to protect the man she loved. Having failed in everything she had ever wanted to achieve.

She had died with regret.

There was no salvation.

There was no redemption.

There was no purpose.

She had simply died.

He couldn’t feel even the slightest hint of life within her body.

She was dead.

Truly dead.

There was no potion in the world that could bring her back.

No medicine.

No elixir.

Not even the Divine Doctor himself could bring her back.

Death had claimed her.

Death was absolute.

“Then…”

His tone was chilling.

His eyes flared with entranced madness.

“Then I will adaptively evolve to Death itself.”

RUMBLE!!!

The world shook.

It shook violently.

Fearfully.

It shook under the sheer gravity of his oath.

Gaia froze in horror as she watched the Dawnbringer cross a line no man should ever have crossed.

The blood-red Suns in his eyes shined with blinding brightness.

They shined with grief.

They shined with love.

They shined, entranced by his Martial Path.

In this state of mind, he simply adaptively evolved.

No matter what he was up against.

Even if his opponent was Death itself.

He had overcome it once.

He would do it again.

RUMBLE!!!!!

All heaven and earth quaked with peril at the sheer gravity of his actions.

The sum totality of his being honed into a singularity of adaptive evolution as he challenged Death itself.

“Life…” a chilling whisper escaped him. “I need life.”

He needed life.

He needed her life.

He needed to know everything about her life.

He needed to know everything.

“Angel of Laplace.”

His domain washed over the entirety of the Gu.

The entirety of the North-West Panama.

The entirety of the Panama Continent.

The entirety of Gaia.

He went even further beyond, manipulating space at a range that was beyond unfathomable to bring back information about her very existence that spread across the solar system that harbored the planet.

His microcosm of a mind surged with an astronomical amount of cognition.

It surged with endless thought as he wove together an extraordinary tapestry.

An extraordinary tapestry of the past.

His mind ascended.

It ascended to the fourth dimension.

It ascended beyond time as the past unfolded before him.

Time rewinded.

He watched himself un-adapt to the poison and un-break through to back to the Master Realm as he rewound time back to the past.

When Amare was still alive.

His expression grew gentle.

The glare in his eyes softened.

A small, loving smile emerged on his face as the intensity of his drive accelerated.

He gathered every single scrap of data about the material state of her life. He mapped every single ounce of her body.

Every system.

Every organ.

Every cell.

Every single molecule.

From her brain, heart, and mind all the way to the edge of her hair and nails.

He computed every single vector.

He had a blueprint of the causality of her life. That wasn’t all. He scoured his entire mind, drawing on every single memory he had of her.

From the day they met in the Gen Temple, as he stumbled upon a strange Martial Master scrubbing the temple grounds with a rag cloth.

A loving smile emerged on his face as he recalled how she had dragged him across the entire temple for the entire day, doing rigorous manual labor. A warm feeling nourished his heart as he recalled how she had taught him that everything was Martial Art.

A teaching that he had slowly come to understand.

A teaching that he had slowly come to inherit.

Through his love for her. He recalled their fight.

He recalled her power.

The only Martial Master to have pushed him to use his full power.

He recalled the Progenitor within her.

He recalled the beauty of her soul borne in her Martial Embodiment.

He recalled the kinship and intimacy he felt with her as the only other Martial Artist who understood what it was like to be torn between identities.

He recalled when she sought to join his journey across human civilization.

He recalled their kiss.

A spontaneous exchange of physical intimacy.

One that warmed his heart.

He recalled her touch.

He recalled her brightness.

He recalled her warmth.

He recalled her naive optimism.

He recalled her profound wisdom.

He recalled the hope she bestowed upon those she came across.

He recalled the salvation she gave to them.

He recalled all the good that she had spread.

He recalled all the light she had spread in an Era of Darkness.

He recalled everything.

Every last second of her from the very moment they met.

A myriad of memories flooded his universe of a mind as he amassed every single last memory he could on her, putting all those memories through the pattern recognition system of the VOID algorithm.

An extraordinary amount of information.

With an extraordinary number of patterns.

Patterns that formed the very essence of her identity.

Patterns that formed the very essence of her soul.

From them, he created an extraordinarily accurate behavioral, psychological, and existential predictive model on the very nature his beings.

A model that could simulate the cosmological entity known as ‘Amare.’

He gazed at her corpse as the sum totality of every sensory organ, every ounce of awareness, and every instinct in his body scrupulously gathered every scrap of physical information he could gather on her.

Every cell and molecule therein.

He measured her death itself.

He had gathered her life from the past.

He had gathered her soul from the depths of his memories.

He had gathered her death from the present.

He had gathered everything he needed.

The world held its breath with awe.

All of heaven and earth froze with peril.

Gaia gazed at him with horror.

A single whisper escaped him as the Forge of Creation gave birth to the most extraordinary technique in the entire universe.

“Resurrection.”

RUMBLE!!!!!
