The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 527: Chapter 527: What’s So Great About Being First in the Quiz?

Lin Tian whispered to Liou Qingcheng, ”How did you do on the exam this time?”

Liou Qingcheng blinked her mischievous eyes and said proudly, ”I’ve always been a top student, haven’t I? But unfortunately, I only got third place this time.”

Third place?

This is a very good result, but it still surprised Lin Tian a bit. You see, Liou Qingcheng’s results were always solidly in first place before.

”Who else could score better than you?” Lin Tian asked, curious.

”First place is Sisi, and second place is a boy from the next class.”

Lin Tian was even more shocked, ”Sisi got first place?”

At this moment, Sisi also turned her head and laughed brightly, ”How about it, impressive right?”

Facing her smugness, Lin Tian was a bit speechless. It’s just a minor exam, what’s there to be so proud of?

Even Meng Nan, this braggart, chimed in, continually praising, ”Impressive, impressive, our Sisi is of course the best!”

The three of them rolled their eyes. This flattery is really too clumsy.

Liou Qingcheng ignored the two of them, smiled at Lin Tian, and said sourly, ”Even if we do well, we can only be brought in to listen by the teacher. You’re the impressive one, you got a direct invitation letter.”

Lin Tian was just about to speak when Zhao Xuefeng, standing on the podium, coughed softly, ”Students below, don’t talk, or else ten points will be deducted in the final grades.”

Ten points? This is way too harsh!

Lin Tian raised his head, and sure enough, Zhao Xuefeng’s eyes were fixed on him. Lin Tian awkwardly smiled, sat up straight.

Zhao Xuefeng continued, ”Now I will announce the five places, Jiang Sisi, Huo Lin, Liou Qingcheng, Zhao Qi, Lin Tian.”

As soon as Zhao Xuefeng finished speaking, the whole class was in uproar.

The first four names everyone knew because they had seen the grade sheet in the class group. They are exactly the top four, so there’s nothing to say.

But this Lin Tian, who hadn’t attended any classes since the start of school, why can he go too?

Shouldn’t the fifth person be Zonggao?

The most confused person was Zonggao himself. He was secretly pleased, waiting for Zhao Xuefeng to announce his name, and then flaunt it in front of Lin Tian. He stood proudly in front of Lin Tian, looking down at him, ”Qingcheng can go to the summit, but you can’t, yet I can! Jealous? Envious?”

But unexpectedly, the person he wanted to taunt had taken his spot!

Stealing my woman, and now my place!

Attending the medical summit would definitely be noted in the records, and after graduation, the advantages are obvious.

But now it’s been taken.

Can this be tolerated? No!

Zonggao suddenly stood up from his chair, his eyes bulging like brass bells, demanding, ”Teacher! Why is the last spot given to Lin Tian and not me?!”

This was a roar, a bellow, and also a complaint.

Zhao Xuefeng glanced at Zonggao, his brows furrowed slightly, ”Who are you?”

Pff~

Zonggao just wanted to vomit blood. Didn’t I just tell you my name? How did you forget so quickly.

After a couple of seconds, Zhao Xuefeng seemed to remember something and then said, ”Oh, you’re the one who got extra credit just now, right? Tell me why the spot should be given to you.”

Zonggao panted heavily, his chest feeling exceptionally stuffy. He argued reasonably, ”Because I was fifth in the minor exam! Didn’t you say the top five in the minor exam would go?!”

Zhao Xuefeng nodded, ”Then do you know why I use the minor exam to decide the spots?”

”You just said, for fairness! But Lin Tian hasn’t attended class or taken the exam, why give my spot to him?”

”Then do you know the purpose of the minor exam?”

Zonggao was taken aback for a moment, then said, ”To test our learning outcomes.”

”What you said is not wrong. The minor exam is to test learning outcomes, and the top five students attend the summit. Do you have any objections?”

Zonggao suddenly felt something was odd, but after repeatedly pondering Zhao Xuefeng’s words, he couldn’t find fault. He finally nodded, ”What you said is correct.”

”Then it’s correct, do you really consider your traditional medicine level higher than Lin Tian’s?”

Not only Zonggao, the whole class of uninformed students didn’t understand. Is Lin Tian’s traditional medicine level that high? Why haven’t we heard of it?

”He hasn’t attended a single class, didn’t come for the minor exam either. He probably doesn’t even know what ’traditional medicine’ is! Is his level better than mine?” After speaking, Zonggao looked at Lin Tian with disdain.

Zhao Xuefeng was almost amused. If he doesn’t understand traditional medicine, then who does?

Zhao Xuefeng introspectively asked, being recognized as a ’sir’ himself, in comparison to Lin Tian’s traditional medicine level, there’s a several-tier difference.

”Lin Tian, tell him, what is traditional medicine.” Zhao Xuefeng said.

Helpless, Lin Tian stood up, ”What is traditional medicine? I don’t have a specific answer in my heart either. The traditional medicine I know was born in primitive society. It wasn’t until the ’Spring and Autumn and Warring States Periods’ that traditional medicine theory basically took shape. It was created by the Han people, hence also called ’Han medicine’. Using the four diagnostic methods of ’observing, listening, questioning, and feeling the pulse’ to explore the cause, nature of the disease, analyze the pathogenesis, and changes in the body’s internal organs, channels and joints, blood and body fluids...”

”The influence of traditional medicine is far-reaching, for example, the ’Kampo medicine’ in Sakula Country, Korean medicine in Longmen Continent, and the Vietnamese Eastern medicine, all developed on the basis of traditional medicine. There are many treatment methods in traditional medicine such as Qi Gong, dietary therapy, acupuncture...”

Lin Tian’s eloquent speech captivated everyone, and listening to what he said, they felt like a new world had opened up.

”Well said, very thorough.” Praising him, Zhao Xuefeng stood on the podium and started applauding for himself.

Clap, clap...

Hearing Zhao Xuefeng’s applause, everyone came back to their senses, and a thunderous applause erupted.

After the applause gradually subsided, Lin Tian turned his gaze to Zonggao and asked, ”Do you have anything to add?”

Zonggao stood there dumbfounded. You just said everything, what else can I say!

Although Lin Tian said a lot, he definitely couldn’t cover all of traditional medicine. Because this culture is too deep and profound, he only scratched the surface, mixing depths, creating the illusion of high proficiency.

But Zonggao is just half-baked, how could he possibly add? Even if he could say, it definitely wouldn’t be as brilliant as Lin Tian’s.

The difference in levels is clear!

Zonggao was dissatisfied, but helplessly he could only shake his head. He said, ”But if it’s about the minor exam from a few days ago, he definitely wouldn’t score better than me!”

Everyone expressed disdain, it’s like this, and you still have the face to mention the exam?

Even Zhao Xuefeng became impatient, ”Do you really think that traditional medicine is only about exams? Exams are just a form, do you think scoring high means having high proficiency? Since you think so, the question you just asked ’what is traditional medicine,’ can you answer it better than Lin Tian?”

Zonggao’s face stiffened, not only could he not answer. He couldn’t even repeat it.
