The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 517: Chapter 517: The Bai Family’s Road to Counterattack

Lin Tian placed both hands on the table and said, ”Are all our company’s members undergoing special training now?”

Wu Yong replied, ”Yes, while you were in the hospital, some stayed at the company while the rest went to the suburbs for special training.”

Lin Tian nodded in satisfaction and turned his gaze to Tian Ming, ”How’s the training going?”

”The training hasn’t officially started yet. Our facilities aren’t fully constructed, and once they are, we need to get legal certification. Right now, their training involves building the training site. It’s exhausting, but the results are apparent.”

Tian Ming paused for a moment and continued, ”The future training content has been prepared. Tian, you’ve seen it, right?”

”I’ve seen it, it’s good.” Lin Tian sorted through his thoughts slightly and said, ”Once the staff is well-trained, our company will start taking security orders. Remember, aside from our own sites, we only take orders from high-end apartments or large companies, and the price can’t be too low. Yongzi, can you handle this?”

”Leave it to me!” Wu Yong patted his chest and assured.

Tian Ming laughed again, ”Tian, you didn’t know, Brother Yong recently hired a drop-dead gorgeous secretary, supposedly a top graduate from Harvard. With her helping, Brother Yong can take it a bit easier.”

Wu Yong glared at Tian Ming, not amused, ”You’re exposing my flaws again?”

Everyone laughed once more.

Lin Tian raised a hand to quiet the laughter, and solemnly said to Wu Yong, ”This is our main base. I don’t care how pretty the secretary you hire is, but don’t trust outsiders too much, you know what I mean?”

Wu Yong nodded, ”I understand, Tian. I just let her handle daily affairs. As for important matters, she’s not allowed to be involved.”

”Glad you understand, try to cultivate someone reliable.”

”Got it, Tian!” Wu Yong replied.

”Alright, let’s stop getting sidetracked and continue with business.” After a pause, Lin Tian continued, ”In addition to those orders. The high-performing trainees will be classified as bodyguards, and these people can’t be exposed to the public eye; their identities need to be recreated and placed around appropriate persons. Understood?”

Meeting Lin Tian’s gaze, everyone straightened up and responded, ”Understood!”

Lin Tian referred to the high-performing members as those who excelled not only in Tian Ming’s designed physical training but also in Pang Yu’s speed training and Eagle Eye’s hacking training. After passing the examination they devised, they would qualify as bodyguards.

If they failed the exam, they could only work as security guards.

Of course, their efforts and their rewards are commensurate. Even as regular security guards, in addition to the salary from employers, there are generous internal company subsidies.

Achieving all this requires a huge amount of money, but after taking over Du Dahai’s power and the three companies of the Wang Family, the financial issues are easily resolved.

Moreover, Bai Shishi will fully support with finances.

The merger contract signed yesterday, is under Qiansimei Company, which belongs personally to Bai Shishi, and has nothing to do with the Bai Family. So even if others in the Bai Family are envious, they can only feel jealous.

With a slight cough, Lin Tian continued, ”There’s also the issue of our members’ equipment. Besides standard batons, the security team leaders will be equipped with a stun baton. I’ve consulted a lawyer before; a stun baton is allowed to be carried but only for self-defense. If our own people cause trouble, don’t be lenient, being a bit harsh is fine.”

After finishing speaking, a powerful ferocity emanated from Lin Tian, with sharp eyes like a lurking tiger.

Everyone trembled unintentionally. They all knew Lin Tian’s extraordinary skills, but in interactions, he had always been quite amiable. This was the first time showing such a fierce presence.

This is the art of command, the simplest method. Along with rewards, there must also be enough deterrence. Otherwise, what if someday these subordinates become overly swollen with pride and overturn the entire company?

As the meeting progressed to this point, Lin Tian spoke less and mostly listened to their reports.

The company had now basically stepped onto the right track, and the most pressing task was recruiting various talents.

Of course, Lin Tian didn’t need to handle these trivial matters, they could discuss it among themselves.

After the meeting, Lin Tian followed Tian Ming and others to check out the training base in the city suburbs.

It was indeed still under construction, except for some technical workers hired, everyone else was used as laborers, sweating profusely under the scorching sun.

It’s very tough, but the benefits are also high. Of course, if someone couldn’t bear it, they could leave. They weren’t in dire need of people at the moment.

According to Wu Yong, this land was initially barren. The land acquisition and other formalities were handled through Bai Shishi’s connections; otherwise, it wouldn’t have been so fast.

After a casual tour, Lin Tian returned to his villa.

The room that had exploded in the villa remained unchanged; Lin Tian didn’t have anyone tidy it up. Just move to another room, after all, so many rooms in the villa were empty.

He took a shower and lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling.

He placed his hands behind his head, thinking back on recent events.

Lost in thought, he unknowingly fell asleep. Recently, he hadn’t rested much, even though he was a mid-level Martial Artist, he wasn’t made of iron.

He slept straight through until noon the next day, awakened by the vibration of a text message.

Bai Shishi: Have you seen today’s news?

Lin Tian was startled, replied with two words: No.

Soon, Bai Shishi replied with another message: Go check it out, it’s the headline on all major websites.

Lin Tian opened the browser, and before he could access the news web page, he saw a conspicuous title: ”The Bai Family’s Road to Revenge”!

Lin Tian shivered at the words and quickly clicked in.

The article was lengthy, first describing all the scandals and crises that the Bai Family faced recently. It then narrated the Bai Family’s responses, beginning with official clarifications stating that everything was fabricated. Yet, this did not change the fact of the stock market plummet.

When the stocks hit rock bottom, the Bai Family’s shareholders were eager to offload their stock, thinking the Bai Family was finished. That’s when Bai Shishi appeared, and single-handedly acquired all the shares.

But yesterday, another major event occurred.
