The Invincible Full-Moon System

Chapter 292: Werewolves vs Vampires

”What happened here?”, a woman asks after she saw blood covering the surroundings.

The man beside the woman also frowns after he saw the blood, there is even a corpse with its guts scattered everywhere and by the looks of it, its deaths are still recent.

With the corpse and blood, the man felt the bad omen, ”I donʼt think we should continue”

”This is wrong, we need to go back. These corpses are high rank Awakened”, the man said, he then went to his knee and inspect the corpse in front of him, ”Whatever kills him, it happened so fast since there is no sign of struggle”

The man can feel the powerful mana leftovers from the corpse, the corpse is definitely a high-rank Awakened that got attacked by something.

Knowing this, the high-rank Awakened should be able to defend himself.

But the surrounding stated otherwise, the trees around this place are still intact and the ground doesnʼt have any signs of a battle. With a sixth rank power, destroying this place should be easy.

Hearing this, the woman also hesitated to continue.

But then she suddenly shakes her head, ”He might be around here, we need to help him!”

After saying that, the woman runs forward following the trails of blood that should guide her to whatever powerful creature caused all of this.

Seeing this, the man widened his eyes as he follow the woman, ”Wait! Itʼs too dangerous!”

The more they travel deeper into the forest, the blood trails, and corpses increase.

It pummeled the womanʼs will to keep going further, but when the man was about to convince the woman to go back since this place is obviously dangerous.

BOOM!

SRRTT!

A crashing sound suddenly can be heard from their front,

Then the sound of many trees broken as something crashes through them can be heard from the right, it piqued their attention and without much thinking, the woman runs in the sound direction.

”NO! STOP!”, the man shouted and grab the womanʼs arm.

Feeling the tight grab around her arm, the woman looks back at the man and said, ”He might be in danger, shouldnʼt we help?! The cityʼs people said they went this way!”

”I know, but you know that we canʼt do anything to help him”, the man said convincingly.

But the woman only shakes her head stubbornly, she then twists her arm breaking free from the manʼs grab before she runs away completely ignoring the man calling for her.

It didnʼt take long for the two of them to exit the forest,

When the woman went through the forest, she saw a huge cliff in front. There are also Vampires around the place that makes the woman gasp in surprise.

But then, her eyes landed on a man that has his neck choked by a Vampire.

”Rex...?”, she said lightly after she realized who the man is.

A honeyed voice suddenly calls out to Rex from the side, the voice is very familiar to Rex and heʼs hoping that he heard it wrong since the situation is not good.

Rex tries to turn his head to the side under Anaʼs grip.

After he manage to look to his right, his eyes widen as he saw two familiar faces.

He canʼt believe that the both of them arrive at a very bad time, thereʼs a Seventh Rank Vampire holding his neck and he canʼt do anything about it.

The two familiar faces are Rosie and Edward.

Both of their body stopped when they saw Rex get held up by a Vampire.

They also saw Kyran and Adhara lying on the ground unmoving, the leftovers of battle can be seen around this place as both of their eyes widen.

”Another snack?”, Ana suddenly said with a creepy smile.

Hearing this, Rex struggles even more as he said chokingly, ”Donʼt! Leave them alone”

”You know them? This might become more fun than it already is”, Ana said as she glance at Issac and signals him to bring Rosie and Edward to her.

Issac then looks at both of them with a fierce glare.

By the aura Edward and Rosie emitted, both of them are not as strong as Rex and the others.

The realization that Edward and Rosie are weaker makes Issac smile brutally, his confidence shot up as he walks pridefully towards them.

”You want me right?! Then take me!”, Rex shouted desperately.

But hearing this makes Anaʼs smile even wider, by Rexʼs reaction she know that these two humans are something to Rex and this makes her delighted.

She then said, ”Letʼs play a bit more, that expression of yours is tempting”

Rex struggles to break free as he uses all of the skills in his arsenal, he even uses the Berseker Curse as a red crescent moon symbol appeared on his forehead.

Even with all of that, Ana is still stronger than him by a mile.

”Keep struggling, I like it that way”, Ana said as she looks at Issac who is approaching the two.

Seeing Issac coming at them, Edward steps forward to shield Rosie before his body burns with a dark fire that shocks Rosie since she has never seen this before.

Her eyes widen as she can feel Edwardʼs power already reaches fifth rank and even more.

This makes her bite her lips as she looks at Rex, Edward, and the others one by one in thought.

”Rosie, run away from here right now and ask the city to bring reinforcements. Iʼll hold this one down, hurry!”, Edward said while he went into his battle stance.

Right after he said that, ”Going somewhere so soon?”

BOOM!

Issac propelled himself forward like an arrow of blood, his speed is fast that it is slightly faster than a peak fifth rank Awakened.

CLANG!

His claws were met with Edwardʼs daggers as they locked in a struggle.

But the red scales suddenly started to appear on Issacʼs arms as Edward felt Issac getting stronger, Issacʼs increase in strength can be clearly seen since Edward got pushed slowly back by Issac.

Knowing that he will lose in a strength fight, Edward parries his claws and send a rising knee to Issacʼs chin.

Issac saw this coming as red scales covered his face, and when Edwardʼs knee landed it got blocked completely by the red scales that didnʼt make Issac move ever a bit.

Seeing this, Issac smiles lightly and sent a roundhouse kick to Edwardʼs head.

BAM!

Edward raises both of his arms to block the kick, but even so, the kick is very powerful that it sends him crashing away as his arm started to throb making the daggers in his hand flung away.

After getting rid of Edward, Issac smiles as he looks at where Rosie runs off to.

SWOOSH!

He dashes into the forest with an evil smirk as follows Rosieʼs trail.

This happened while Rex is still got held by Ana, he wanted to use the Invincible item but heʼs worried that Ana already know of his bluff.

Even the demons know about his bluff against the Shapeshifter at Faraday University.

So thereʼs no guarantee that Ana who seems from a high-ranking family of Vampires didnʼt know, especially since the Vampires and Demons are the ones who coordinated an attack at the Great Barricade and successfully breached it.

The alliance between both of them is strong, and this makes Rex worried that if he uses the Invincible Item then it will be wasted.

But thereʼs a part of him that says otherwise.

Rosie might be in danger, he needs to do something to help her.

If Kyran and Adhara got stabbed or beaten up, Rex is not that worried since they both are Werewolves, and if not fatal both of them will heal.

Edward and Rosie on the other side, they are humans and donʼt have that privilege.

It didnʼt take long for Issac to come back before throwing Rosie out of the forest, her body is beaten blue and blood decorates her mouth as she screeches all the way nearing Ana.

”Sheʼs the Chosen One mom, Itʼs our luck to meet the Prince alongside her”, Issac said.

Hearing this, Ana smiles as she sniffs the fragrant smell of blood that is coming from wounds around Rosieʼs body.

Seeing this, Rexʼs eyes widen as anger bubbled inside of him.

The state Rosie is currently in pain himself, she even started coughing blood as she lies on the ground weakly with many injuries.

By the look of her arm that is twisted, it seems she struggles from Issac but Issac broke her arm.

His berserk stats started to increase by the second as his eyes went red in anger.

Ana Delarosa from the Delarosa Vampire family has attacked the user, his pack, and those who are close to the user. Dangering the user and those who are close to the userʼs lives canʼt go unpunished. Massacre the whole Delarosa Family! Failing this quest will cause 30% of the userʼs stats to decrease and reduce the userʼs level by 15!

Because of the anger that comes from seeing Rosieʼs state, Rexʼs anger triggered the Berserk Quest which result in a quest to massacre the entire Delarosa Family.

The volcanoes of anger inside of Rex erupted breaking the patience that he desperately built.

Rexʼs eyes glow red as other notifications appeared,

Any blood-related spells will be nullified in a 2 miles radius, and all of the userʼs attacks will be amplified against blood-related creatures!

Right after the last notification appeared,

SWOOSH!

A red shockwave exploded from Rexʼs body as it went on for two miles before disappearing, this caught Ana off guard as she didnʼt expect Rex still can use a skill even with her choking him.

”What happened?”, Ana mumbles as her blood aura disappeared.

Even when she tries a couple of times, her blood aura wonʼt come out as she glances at Rex in confusion, ”What did you do?!”, she shouted baring her two fangs.

But without answering Anaʼs question,

BANG!

Rex suddenly uses the black gun again and shot Ana right on her stomach.

”Argh!”, Ana grunted as her grip loosened giving Rex enough time to break free from her grip and jump away to create distance.

The gunshot wound on her stomach started steaming.

Silver bullet works on Vampires too as she clawed the Silver bullet out of her stomach, but this gives Rex enough time to turn back into his Werewolf form and attack her.

It happened in an instant,

Rex manages to appear beside Ana and caught her by surprise, he then activates the Claw of Tormentor skill and slashes her right on her neck.

SLASH!

Four claw marks were left on Anaʼs neck, she manage to avoid a fatal attack.

Ana jumped away before she touch her neck, blood can be seen on her hand and the claw marks on her neck started to burn instead of getting healed.

”How is this possible?”, she mumbles in surprise.

ROAR!!

BOOM!

Out of nowhere, Jarvald appeared behind Ana as she bites Anaʼs shoulder. He then clamped hardly with his fangs before throwing Ana away.

”Rarrghh!”, Ana grunted after a chunk of flesh got bitten off by Jarvald.

Rex then appears beside Jarvald as they both stares at Ana menacingly, ”I will not let the Vampire get their hands on the Prince”, Jarvald said as he ready himself for a fight.

The two Werewolves from different backgrounds stand side to side in front of a Vampire.

Itʼs a poetic scene of two Werewolves facing off against one Vampire tyrant, both of them standing unwavering even under Anaʼs piercing gaze.

Without waiting for an answer, Rex and Jarvald pounce at Ana.

Both of them use their all as they both attack Ana at the same time.

BAM!!

Ana blocked their attacks that come from two sides, even with her being weakened due to not being able to use any enhancement or spells related to blood, Sheʼs still a Seventh Rank Supernatural.

A red crescent moon symbol also appeared on Jarvaldʼs forehead,

The two of them use everything that they can do to fight Ana, biting, clawing, they use all kind of attacks that has any chance to inflict damage.

Because of the no restraints fighting style, the battle is very brutal.

SLASH!

SLASH!

Rex attacks Ana repeatedly with his claws, and in between his attack Jarvald also joins in as they both overwhelms Ana with numerous angles of attacks.

Both of them are in sync with each other, their instincts lead them in this fight.

”AARGHH!!”, a high-pitched scream escaped Anaʼs mouth as Rex manage to stab her back with his claws, the steaming sound can be heard as Rexʼs attack got amplified by the Blood Moon.

Ana roared a battle cry as she grits her teeth and went into the offensive,

Meanwhile, Issac slowly backs off as he too felt he canʼt use his blood magic.

But before he can find a place to hide, Edward suddenly appears on his side. His fists are burning with black fire, ”Colossal Punch!”

BAM!

”Krgkkhh!”, Issac manages to block it, the Dragonman spell is still working for him.

Just when he was about to fight back, his eyes widen when he saw Edward already duck down in front of him, ”Colossal Tear!!”

BOOM!

Edwardʼs body burns with black fire as a black fiery titan appeared behind him, he punches Issac so hard that his stomach almost rips open as he spat a mouthful of blood.

SWOOSH!

Issac get flung destroying a couple of trees before stopping,

”Rex?”, Edward mumbles as he looks back to search for Rex, but his eyes widen when he saw Rex in his human form and Jarvald on their knees while Ana stands strongly in front of them.

Even with everything, Ana still prevails over Rex and Jarvald.

Itʼs hard to believe that Ana still bested both of them, but the scene proves that she did it.

But even so, Ana can be seen hurting with numerous wounds around her body. Itʼs not an exaggeration to say that she will collapse with another blow.

BOOM!

Jarvald got kicked screeching away as blood leaked out of his mouth, the moon symbol on his forehead disappeared after he stopped.

After doing that, Ana went to Rex once more before she grabbed Rexʼs neck once again.

With all of the buffs from the Blood Moon, Ana still beat them as she too can use the Dragonman spell just like Issac did.

Her skin becomes very hard to penetrate because of it,

The fact that she can use the Dragonman spell too caught Rex and Jarvald off guard, they both got careless to not expect the spell since even Issac can do it.

”You...You canʼt be left alive”, Ana said with heavy breaths.

Her voice is now weak unlike her strong front before, the wounds surely drain her from power.

Rex tries to break free as Anaʼs grip becomes stronger and stronger, she was about to snap Rexʼs neck but when Rex was about to use the Invincible Item.

”STOP!”
