The Invincible Full-Moon System

Chapter 281: Power Hungry Werewolf

Somewhere in Human Territory.

Inside a deep dark forest that is crawling with mutated animals, there seems to be an alone Werewolf that is walking towards a cave.

The moonlight shone its greyish-silver fur making it glisten.

There is a huge brutal claw wound on its left hind leg that left a nasty scar, it looks gory especially since the scar doesnʼt heal quite normally but has a bubbly black spot on it.

By the expression of the Werewolf whenever he steps, it seems the wound still hurts.

If Rex was here and see the Werewolf, he will instantly remember this Werewolf to be the Werewolf that he met in Zrolis City. Jarvald or also known as Brutal Grey.

The last time Rex saw Jarvald is in Zrolis City fighting another Werewolf.

It was a brutal and gruesome fight, Jarvald can be seen on a losing side but it seems that he manage to escape from the other Werewolf.

While Jarvald is sitting inside a dark cave,

Shing!

”Hmm?”, he looks back curiously and saw something shooting into the sky.

Mysterious energy shot up to the sky from another place, this energy makes Jarvald looks at it in surprise as if it just saw a ghost.

Jarvald then stands up abruptly, ”This... This canʼt be”, he mumbles.

Based on Jarvaldʼs expression, he seems to know the energy that just shot up to the sky that only catches his attention.

The other mutated animals around him like squirrels, bats, donʼt seem to sense it.

Not long after the energy shooting up to the sky, another Werewolf appeared from amongst the trees and approach Jarvald as it too looks at the sky.

This one has different features from Jarvald.

Its fur is black with a hint of silver color around its neck, two mounds can be seen on its chest and the slender and much smaller figure shows that this one is a female.

”Vivian, Iʼm not dreaming, right? Tell me you sensed it too?”, Jarvald asks lightly.

Hearing this, Vivian also nodded her head while looking at the sky, ”I feel it too. Thereʼs no mistaking it, itʼs the legendary Mythical Presence of the Prince...”

”Then why is the prince here? In human territory”, Jarvald mumbles with a frown.

Vivian approached him with a mutated deer in her hand, she also brought a couple of plants that she will use to the nasty scar on Jarvaldʼs leg.

He then continues, ”Does this have to do with the Alpha in the human territory?”

But upon hearing this, Vivianʼs eyes suddenly lit up as she looks at Jarvald in excitement, ”If that were the case, then we can hunt the prince down!”

”Based on that Mythical Presence, it seems the prince is not strong yet. If you devour the prince, your bloodline will evolve and you will definitely inherit the pure blood of the prince”, she added.

Jarvaldʼs eyes widen, ”Then we can go back and claim the throne!”

”Weʼll see if the people still choose King Baralt over me, the new Prince”, Jarvald continues with a savage smile on his face.

After saying that, Vivianʼs face also becomes brutal as she said, ”Then weʼll kill that fucker Bertolf, I long for his hopeless expression and scream of pain”

”Letʼs go right now, the Prince is not that far”, Bertolf said while standing up.

Both of them have a smile on their faces as they started to gallop in a direction, Jarvald howls arrogantly because of the adrenaline as the mutated animals run away from them.

Kyran glance at Adhara for an answer as Rexʼs eyes too fall onto Adhara.

Under Rexʼs gaze, Adhara then recounts the thing that happened while he was gone from the moment she found the brown orb until the sword stabbed the ground.

Hearing all of this, Rex was quite confused, ”Let me check the sword”

Adhara and Kyran makes way for Rex,

Rex takes the brown khopesh sword that lies beside the glowing brown orb, and he immediately inspects the sword that looks beautiful from a glance.

The sword is black in color, it has an amazing sharpness by the touch that can even make a cut on Rexʼs fingers. Golden brown linings can be seen glowing on the body of the sword that added an aesthetic look to it, and the hilt is also golden brown but the grip is covered with black cloth that makes it comfortable to hold the sword.

Rex then scans the sword with the system.

The sword that can only be created by consuming a Sand Elemental, has an unusual hardness from the Sand Elemental properties and can be manipulated into other forms of weapons. It is known for a fearsome sword that kills fire-related beings.

Upon using Nechtu, the wielder will get have a versatile weapon that can change into any kind of weapon form in an instant and have increased damage to fire-related beings.

After reading the systemʼs description, ʼSo this sword is birthed after killing the Sand Elementalʼ

The system stated that this sword can only be created by consuming a Sand Elemental, and Adhara also told him that she found an orb from the Sand Elementalʼs carcass that she suddenly got pulled onto the black pyramid before it shot brown light to the right statue.

That is when the sword shot towards her and stabbed the ground in front of her.

While thinking this, Rex walks out of the small pyramid.

Heʼs holding the sword in thought before his eyes landed on the small pyramid on the other side that is glowing with red light.

ʼWhen I first got here, none of these small pyramids glowsʼ, Rex thought.

The first time that he goes to this Carabidis Temple, he didnʼt even notice that there are these small pyramids since they look ordinary and old.

But now, they suddenly glow with this weird light.

All of the mutated animals are also gone with no trace of them, and Rex saw them going inside the temple in a hurry.

Rex then decided to approach the glowing red small pyramid.

Arriving in front of the glowing small pyramid, Rex stretches out his hand to a symbol on the entrance, the symbol of fire.

ʼSo thatʼs itʼ, Rex thought as he glance at the temple.

The wind symbol small pyramid glows with a brown light before the Sand Elemental appears, this means these small pyramids act as a signal for the other guardians.

This one has a fire symbol on its entrance, then Rex already knows what to expect.

”So the next guardian will be a Fire Elementalist”, Rex mumbles.

After figuring out the pattern of these three small pyramids, Rex went back to the others and explained, ”Our next guardian will be a Fire Elemental, Weʼll need to go and-”

But before Rex can finish, he suddenly noticed Adhara and Kyran sitting on the ground.

Theyʼre exhausted from the fight against the Sand Elemental, Adhara has little to no mana left since she almost used it all on the attack before, while Kyran is very injured.

Seeing their state, Rex sigh, ”You guys go back, Iʼll resume on my own”

”No!”, Kyran and Adhara suddenly said at the same time as they struggle to stand up.

Both of them look at Rex determinedly before Adhara then said, ”We can still continue, you donʼt have to pity us”

Hearing this, Rex was quite surprised.

The determination in their eyes is not something Rex expected, itʼs obvious that the both of them canʼt go on but they almost convince Rex that they can.

With a slight chuckle, Rex then said, ”Fine, weʼll continue tomorrow”

Before both of them can rebut, Rex then continue, ”You canʼt fight in that state, we can continue tomorrow when you guys healed enough”

After saying that, Rex puts the sword in his inventory and went back.

Rex carries Kyran while Adhara can climb with one hand, but Rex is worried that she might fall so he stays below Adhara just in case she slipped.

In the middle of the night,

”Haah!”, Rex wakes up suddenly from his sleep.

Sweat covered his body as he looks around in a panic, he then sighed after realizing what he just saw is just a dream.

Rex rubs his eyelids a couple of times with a helpless look.

Itʼs the third time he woke up from his sleep like this.

Every time he closes his eyes, the same dream appeared and woke him up forcefully. Even now he just closed his eyes for ten minutes, and the dream woke him up again.

Rex is sitting on his bed with a helpless expression as the moonlight bath him from the opened window, heʼs currently topless wanting to feel the moonlight warmth with Adhara on his side.

After they got back from Carabidis Temple,

Adhara instantly fall asleep as soon as she landed on the bed and now, sheʼs hugging Rex from the side making Rex junior stand up.

Of course, besides such a beauty, he canʼt really control it.

But every time Rex wanted to do something, he always remember Rosie and thus making him guilty, ʼI really need to tell herʼ, Rex thought while caressing Adharaʼs brown hair.

Not long after that, Rex takes his mind off of it and opened the system.

The Blood Moon signifies a brutal Werewolf that always thirsts for blood, no matter where the blood comes from the Blood Moon will be pleased if blood is flowing. In order to be recognized by the Blood Moon, the user needs to quench the thirst of the Blood Moon.

Massacre one City of Supernatural 0/1

Quest Reward: Red Frenzy Passive Skill, 20,000,000 Exp, Blood Drought Pill

After opening the Blood Moon Box and showing his past, the system gave Rex this quest that he need to complete in order to be recognized by the Blood Moon.

The system said that after completing the Blood Moon Quest, he will receive a King Mark.

King Mark is the same mark that he had during the invincible item period, the surging power that coursed through his body like a tidal wave is still remembered by Rex today.

It gives Rex so much power, and he wanted that.

So the day is spent with him thinking of a way to finish the quest.

The quest only demands Rex to massacre one city, and he certainly will kill a city of Supernatural but he doesnʼt know which one.

ʼI need to search for Supernaturals that are weak but have high mental statsʼ, Rex thought.

He remembered the fight against the Raven and the Sand Elemental, if he can use his Alpha Bearing Skill, the fight will be much easier than itʼs been.

That is why heʼs determined to find the Supernatural suited for his farming.

Rex opens his phone to search for the Supernatural, but then his eyes landed on multiple notifications that came from Rosie.

Looking at this, Rex frowns, ʼWhat did she want nowʼ

The chat says that Rosie wanted to talk to him, but heʼs still in Wedron City so meeting with her is not possible and even if heʼs in the university, Rex doubts Adhara will let him.

For some reason, Adhara forbid him from meeting Rosie alone.

Rex doesnʼt know why she suddenly becomes like that, but he thought of it to be Adharaʼs sense that manages to catch the weird air between the two of them.

After a slight hesitation, Rex called Rosie to hear what she wanted to say.

But even after he waited for a couple of minutes, the call didnʼt get answered, ʼSheʼs probably asleep, he thought before he opens the UWO website.

On the website, the information about every Supernatural they encounter is open to the public.

Anyone that is curious about all kinds of Supernatural can find every Supernatural information there, itʼs made to educate the people against the Supernatural.

While Rex is scrolling to find a suited Supernatural, a flapping sound can be heard.

The flapping sound can be heard from the windowʼs direction,

Rex looks at the window and saw a crow flapping its wings towards him, he then sits down on the bed facing the window as the crow approaches.

It didnʼt take long for the crow to arrive before suddenly,

Poof!

The crows suddenly turn into a scroll and fall on the floor after it enters the window.

ʼThatʼs newʼ, Rex thought.

He then takes the scroll from the ground and opened it, he didnʼt need to know who sent it because it must be the Green Messenger who sent it.

After opening the scroll, thereʼs only one sentence on the scroll.

ʼCome outʼ

Reading this, Rex frowns before he looks out from the window and saw the Green Messenger blending with the darkness with the same crow mask on his face.

Rex was caught off guard since the Green Messenger never came to him like this.

The last time he did that was when Rex got on a mission to Zrolis City, but since then Rex hasnʼt sensed the Green Messenger around him at all.

Itʼs most likely that he stayed at the lab, developing new guns like before.

ʼWhat is he doing hereʼ, Rex thought with a frown.
