The Heart System

Chapter 631

I stepped aside. Anotta walked past me without another word. I closed the door behind her and stood there for a moment, my back against it, trying to process why she was here. This was... a little awkward, couldn’t lie.

”Look at that,” she said, scanning the luxurious penthouse with zero emotion. ”From a rundown apartment to this.”

”Time flies, huh?” I replied, turning toward her.

Without waiting for an invitation, she walked into the living room and sat on the single couch like she owned the place. I took the seat across from her and turned off the TV. Minne had apparently been watching the weather report, rain pouring down again... surprise surprise.

”I’m going to cut it short,” Anotta said, crossing her legs. ”I heard you had some problems with Nala.”

”We’re over that,” I replied.

”As you know, Nala is the brain of Project Phoenix. I can’t afford for her mind to be distracted.”

”Hmm.”

”I also heard you were fired.”

”That happened too, yeah,” I nodded. ”We had an argument. That’s all.”

”So you two made up?” she asked.

”We did. But why do you care?”

”Because I don’t want any scandals surrounding the project,” she said, leaning back. ”Have I made myself clear?”

”Yeah, yeah,” I muttered. ”So that was the only reason you came here?”

”No.” Her eyes sharpened. ”I want to make a deal.”

”Okay... what kind of deal?”

”Come back and work beside Nala again.” she said calmly.

”That was... in my plans, anyway.”

”And leak everything you learn about Project Phoenix to me.”

”What?”

”In return, I’ll handle your little ’Brok’ problem completely.”

I froze. How the fuck did she know about Brok? I had only told Jasmine and a few others. This woman really had eyes and ears everywhere.

”I won’t,” I said firmly. ”You’re already backing the project. Why not just wait and let it hit the market normally?”

”I don’t like risks, Marlowe. Nala and her board keep me in the dark.”

”Maybe because you butt in too much?” I said carefully. ”With respect, of course.”

Anotta stood up smoothly, dusting off her coat. ”Shame we couldn’t come to an agreement. But something tells me you’ll change your mind.”

”Something tells me I won’t,” I forced a smile as I stood up. ”I’ll see you out.”

I walked her to the door. As she stepped into the hallway, she glanced back over her shoulder.

”You’ve changed, Marlowe,” she said. ”And I hope it’s for the better... not worse.”

I didn’t reply. I just watched her press the elevator button and disappear behind the closing doors. Once she was gone, I shut the door and leaned against it.

She wanted me to be a mole? No fucking way.

But in return... she’d handle Brok entirely. Eleanor and her brother would be safe. And I’d get a massive amount of credits, enough to push me forward significantly.

”Master?” Minne’s soft voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

She walked out of the hallway, fresh from her bath, wearing her cute maid outfit. She looked a little shy.

”I didn’t hear you getting up. I’m sorry.”

”It’s fine,” I said. ”I thought you’d always shower when you woke up.”

”Oh, um... I got up at nine. I was just...” She fidgeted with the hem of her skirt. ”I was tired.”

”Tired?” I asked, raising an eyebrow. ”Why would that be?”

The quest was simple enough. Why not?

”I couldn’t sleep so... I was... watching some shows,” she said.

”From your phone?”

She nodded. ”Um, I’ll get breakfast ready, Mast—”

”Show me,” I smirked, walking toward her. ”Come on.”

”U-um...” She gulped. ”My phone is... in the charging thing...”

”Really, now?”

I reached around her and found the small pocket on the back of her maid outfit. I pulled out her phone. The battery was at 100%. It definitely wasn’t charging.

”Lying, Minne?” I asked, gently tapping the phone against the crown of her head. ”I didn’t expect that from you.”

”Master... I’m... s-sorry.”

”Unlock it.”

”Umm...”

Her face turned bright red, but she obediently lifted her hand and unlocked the phone with her fingerprint. I opened the browser and checked her history.

What I saw made my eyebrows shoot up.

Lots of porn. And not just any porn, all of it was about armpit sex. Armpit licking, armpit fucking, close-ups of women’s armpits... everything. I guess seeing me fuck Kim’s armpit had awakened something in her. Oh, boy. I felt like a monster now.

”You were awake at three in the morning,” I said, nodding slowly as I scrolled, ”masturbating to armpit sex?”

”Noooo...” She turned completely red. ”It’s... it’s a virus...”

I locked the phone and placed it on the dining table. Then I put my index finger under her chin, tilting her head up so she had to look at me. She looked so fucking cute like this, embarrassed, shy, and completely submissive.

”I know you just took a bath,” I whispered, leaning into her ear. ”But... would you mind getting a little dirty for me, Minne?”

Her eyes widened, but she shook her head frantically. ”N-no! Anything for... for Master.”

”Lift your arms up behind your head.”

”M-Master...” She gulped. ”O-okay...”

Minne obeyed without hesitation. She lifted both arms high and locked her hands behind her head. The motion caused her maid outfit to ride up even further, fully exposing her smooth, pale armpits. They were perfectly shaved, incredibly soft, and still carried a faint, clean warmth from her recent bath. The delicate skin looked almost too pretty to touch, pale, silky, and slightly flushed from embarrassment. The sight alone made my cock twitch hard with anticipation.

I leaned in slowly, pressing my face into her left armpit. I took a long, deep breath, inhaling her natural feminine scent, fresh, slightly sweet from the soap, with that subtle, intimate warmth that made my head spin. Then I dragged my tongue slowly across the soft, sensitive skin. Minne shivered violently from head to toe, a cute, surprised whimper escaping her lips as her body tensed.

”M-Master... that feels... weird...” she breathed, her voice already trembling with a mix of embarrassment and growing arousal.
