The Golem Mage

Chapter 1030: New Big Three 2.

Finally, Titan made his move, the moment he cast the spell, it was almost like his next step became its trigger, as within a radius of about a hundred and fifty meters, with him at the center, the land instantly transformed into a frozen domain as his feet landed on the ground.

By then, the four Tier 7 mages had already closed in.

The first dashed forward, thrusting his sword straight at Titan without any iota of fear, the blade was coated in Qi-like energy, and his body moved far faster than the others because he had wrapped himself in wind energy, boosting his speed beyond normal limits.

From the side, slightly slower, another mage lunged toward Legion, aiming for the lower ribs with his sword, the remaining two that were still far behind were already showing intentions of splitting up, clearly intending to break through and reach Alec behind them.

Seeing this, Titan grew impatient, he wanted to eliminate them quickly and return to his master’s side.

He raised his right hand and opened his palm, allowing the first mage’s sword to pierce straight through it, as the entire blade lodged deep into his hand, at that moment, the first mage finally drew close enough to see Titan’s face clearly and he realized there was no trace of pain or reaction at all.

Only indifference.

The second mage slammed his sword in, but then he felt something was wrong, the blade had been caught, stuck against Titan’s side as if trapped in solid ice.

Before he could react, Titan’s left hand cut through the air and clamped around his neck, lifting him off the ground.

From the point of contact, ice spread rapidly across the mage’s throat, his eyes turned pale with terror as he struggled, but it was useless.

His body stiffened, his breathing became impossible, and even trying to pry Titan’s hand away felt hopeless.

“Die,” Titan said coldly.

Ice energy surged, turning the flesh of the mage’s neck brittle in an instant, and with a crushing grip, Titan snapped it.

Crack.

The head separated from the body.

Thud.

The corpse of the Tier 7 mage hit the frozen ground with a dull sound, and as it did, a wave of dread swept through the City Lord’s army watching, chilling them far more deeply than the ice beneath their feet.

Titan didn’t stop there, he pushed forward, shifting his left hand to grip the neck of the second mage, the one whose sword was still embedded in his palm.

The mage struggled desperately, but it was useless, he just couldn’t stop Titan’s hand from closing around his throat.

The hand clamped around his neck sent an unbearable chill through his body.

Earlier, he had still tried to twist his sword and slash horizontally, but the blade hadn’t moved an inch. Now, after witnessing how easily his comrade had been killed, he no longer even thought of attacking.

All he wanted was to run, but how could he escape the grip of Titan, whose strength stat alone was a thousand?

Like a chicken being seized by its owner, Titan lifted him effortlessly, as the other two mages who had tried to circle around toward Alec froze in their tracks after seeing how easily their comrades were dying.

They could feel Titan’s gaze on them, forced to look, they watched as he crushed the second mage’s neck, repeating the same brutal process as before.

When it was over, Titan calmly pulled the sword out of his hand, never once breaking eye contact with the remaining two.

“My turn,” Titan said.

He then dashed forward toward the third mage, he wasn’t even moving at full speed, yet in an instant, he was already standing before him, the mage tried to retreat, but his legs felt impossibly heavy.

When he looked down, he saw black ice creeping over his boots, not that they were locking him in place but they just made walking incredibly difficult, as terror flooded his face.

In that brief moment of distraction, Titan’s mace came crashing down.

Slam!

The mage’s head was crushed instantly, then Titan turned and began walking toward the last of the four.

The final mage tried to flee, but his movements were unbearably slow, his body trembling violently as he was the one who had stayed the longest under the influence of the Absolute Zero domain, every step feeling heavier than the last, as he felt the embodiment of death closed in on him.

If he were only a Tier 6 mage, he would have already turned into an ice sculpture by now. In fact, parts of his legs were already being swallowed by some type of crystallised ice.

The more he forced his mana to break it off so he could run, the more he bled, because the ice had latched deep into his flesh, peeling it away with mana was no different from mutilating himself.

He screamed in agony, but within three seconds, Titan was already standing before him.

A small frame, a bald head and that icy blue eyes that projected nothing but cold indifference, and in his grasp, a massive black ice mace that radiated death.

Without wasting another second, Titan brought the mace down.

Slam!

The mage’s head was crushed, and blood splattered across the frozen ground.

“Master, what is the next course of action?” Titan asked as he turned back to Alec, letting the mace drop to the ground.

At that moment, the high-ranked individuals who were not members of the Gordons Clan felt a strange sense of disbelief, they had already found the Patriarch’s clown golems unsettling because they could speak.

Now, seeing that Alec’s golems could also speak so naturally, they couldn’t help but wonder...

‘When did it become normal for golems to possess the capability of speech?’

Silence engulfed both the outer and inner regions of the Gordons Clan.

They had tried to overestimate the strength of Alec’s golems, but after witnessing Titan’s display, they realized that even their overestimation was still a grave underestimation.

They had been able to accept Tier 6 mages dying as if their lives meant nothing.

But Tier 7 mages?

Watching them fall so effortlessly under Titans unexplainable strength shook them to their core.

Unconsciously, many eyes turned toward the three Tier 8 mages of the City Lord’s army, as if silently asking when they would finally make their move, because it just looked like a Tier 7 mage wasn’t their match.

“Summon the army,” Alec said calmly in response to Titan’s earlier question.

Immediately, Titan drove his ice mana into the ground, and summoning circles lit up across the frozen land, Legion sent his ten cubes slamming into the earth.

Oni struck his scythe down, and the area around it transformed into a dark portal.

From the frozen land, Titan’s Captain-ranked Ice Golems emerged, far from them, Legion’s Captain-ranked Cybernetic Golems appeared.

And then, from Oni’s dark portal, his Shinigami Flesh Golem army poured out.

In an instant, another thirty more golems stood on the battlefield.

As if that alone wasn’t enough, each of those Captains began summoning their own Rare-ranked golems.

At that moment, the entire outer region was flooded with golems, when all of them released their auras, the army the City Lord had brought suddenly looked as if it were the one at a slight disadvantage.

“What was it you said again?” Alec asked calmly, his gaze fixed on the City Lord, who had just broken free from the Medusa Petrify spell.

“Who is at a numerical disadvantage now?”
