THE GOD EATER

He was of the opinion that, at least, the power one could muster in their own is more trustworthy than the words of a stranger. Especially if Monarch Giant Zombie could now use the power of his Cave Heaven.

This means that the rank 8 cultivator now has more tools at his disposal to fight with. Therefore, he might have a chance at defeating this strange dog. So why shouldn’t he make an attempt to fight for his freedom?

But before he could complete his change, Loki sighed and said in exasperation, ”It seems I will need to use more force to convince you.”

As he spoke, he activated the Seal Ability on three out of four Divine Metacs through the marks. So the marks expanded and turned into a cocoon that covered the three Divine Metacs. This caused the power of the three Divine Metacs to shut down.

By the time Monarch Giant Zombie finished transforming, he had lost access to three of his Divine Metacs. Not only did this weaken him, but it also meant that his Cave Heaven didn’t have enough Divine Metacs to support itself. Soon, he will lose up to 25% of his Cave Heaven.

Loki chose this moment to say, ”Are you ready to see reason and talk now? If you’re not ready, I can wait. Just know that the loss to your Cave Heaven will escalate and become permanent if you don’t give up your futile resistance early.”

Actually, he didn’t want to use the Seal Ability as he had been hoping to take all of the Cave Heaven for himself later on. But Monarch Giant Zombie had forced his hands.

He thought he was convincing enough, but the rank 8 death cultivator still refused to give up. Since he had been handicapped, he decided to look for help.

So he roared to the other Life Fires in the core of his Cave Heaven, saying, ”What are you waiting for? Help me now?”

Monarch Giant Zombie was the leader of an alliance, so there were other Life Fires in his Cave Heaven. These Life Fires belonged to the members of the alliance who had been forced or tricked into joining his alliance.

These people had been too shocked to do anything since the giant wolf appeared around them. Besides, not much time had gone by, so they didn’t have much of an opportunity to make a move.

Plus, they didn’t know what the giant wolf was and whether it belonged to the leader of their alliance. So they had been hesitant to make a move and butt in.

However, now that Monarch Giant Zombie had cleared the air and set the situation straight, they knew what to do. Unfortunately for them, Loki wasn’t in the mood to entertain some riffraff.

He said, ”How annoying.”

As he spoke, the black force field erupted out of him and submerged the core of the Cave Heaven. The whole place was immediately plunged into darkness.

This caused the light of the sun to die out. So the Cave Heaven was also plunged into darkness. But the darkness of the Cave Heaven was nothing compared to the level of misery and pain that had descended on the core of the Cave Heaven.

Loki left Monarch Giant Zombie alone. As for the other five, he ripped them to shreds with his full power.

The black force field separated them and wrapped them in cocoons that froze them. Then the cocoons began the gory work of shredding their existence into pieces and breaking down the fragments that were shredded.

Just as Giant Zombie could now use the power of his Cave Heaven, so could Loki. So the power of the Devouring Ability was 9(Cultivation Rank) × (9(Body) + 9(Mind) + 9(Soul) + 9(Will) + 9(Insight)) × 81(Fenrir Supreme Metac) × 4,512 million square kilometers(Cave Heaven) × 10(Law Fragments), which is 1,480,161,600 units of divine power. This was by no means his maximum power at the moment.

The weakest of them had two Divine Metacs, and the strongest had three Divine Metacs. But at the end of the day, it didn’t matter how many Divine Metacs they each had to resist with.

The raw power of the Devouring Ability alone was too much for them to bear. Their Life Fire shattered immediately and was extinguished.

It didn’t matter that the Devouring Ability could only damage them for 7,290 years of lifespan per second. And it didn’t matter how much lifespan they had to spend. The power of the attack was just too much to withstand, so they died like the flame of a candle doused in water.

In an instant, all five of them were dead. So Loki withdrew the Devouring Ability. This allowed some light to return to the core of the

Then he said to the rank 8 death cultivator, ”Now that we are alone, are you ready to talk?”

Monarch Giant Body didn’t speak. But he did deactivate the Giant Zombie Metac.

The deactivation of the only available Divine Metac he could use caused his giant form to deflate like a balloon. As if this wasn’t enough to put on a stance of weakness, he also bowed to Loki.

He didn’t say a single word, but his actions spoke louder than any words he could have said. At least, Loki was satisfied, so his goal had certainly been accomplished.

Loki nodded in satisfaction and said, ”Good. Very good. Since you’re being so obedient, I won’t punish you anymore.”

After speaking, he deactivated the Seal Ability and the Siphon Ability. So the Cave Heaven stopped shaking at the edge of collapse, and Monarch Giant Zombie’s lifespan stopped pouring out of him like a hole in a dam.

Then Loki smiled and said, ”I’ve actually come with an opportunity for you. What do you think about creating a Supreme Metac and advancing to rank 9?”

In the past, he had to use trickery to get a rank 8 cultivator to advance to rank 9. But now, things have changed.
