The dragon's harem

Chapter 2259: The Princesses Private Quarter XIX

Dalla wiggled her fingers, and Kolara gulped, feeling a cold shiver run down her spine, and her butt cheek started to itch and sting, remembering the sharp pain. She looked at her with a worried face, and Dalla approached, reached down, and touched her belly.

Kolara shivered one more, and if she had anything left in her, she would’ve leaked it out again. ”Are you... going to slap me?” As Kolara gasped, Dalla smiled and pinched her.

”What if I’m going to slap you? You’re in a test now...” She gently smacked her butt, causing her to jump. ”You can hear her, right? Your sister will soon finish her turn, and It’ll be yours.” She whispered into her ear, ”You don’t want to be late, do you?”

”Yes... I don’t want to be late.” She mumbled, and Dalla smiled. ”Good, good... now, take a deep breath.” Dalla grabbed one of Kolara’s fingers, and started twisting it.

As Kolara gasped, Dalla smacked her on the butt, gently. ”Stay quiet. I know it hurt. This is a simple endurance test...” One by one, Dalla started breaking Kolara’s fingers, causing her to cry and scream, but the test itself wasn’t about pain, but about how long Kolara would allow Dalla to break her fingers before she started resisting.

When Dalla broke all of Kolara’s fingers, she looked at Kolara’s red and tearful face. ”You endured that well. All our maids did. Shows they are willing to obey orders.” She waved her hand over Kolara’s hands and healed them.

”How did you test the maids here?” She looked back, and Kolara gasped for air. ”Depends on the maid’s job; the less critical, the fewer tests. But for royal maids like mine... it’s usually the crying rose.”

Dalla looked at one of the maids, and that maid immediately explained that the crying rose is a poisonous rose with thorns filled with non-lethal neurotoxin and can be used to cause pain without any physical damage. She also explained that slave contracts are used to test the maids for the first few months.

Since maids need to be loyal, obedient, tight lipped, and have enough endurance to withstand stress and overwork, those painful and humiliating tests filtered anyone who isn’t suited for the job quite quickly. If a maid isn’t willing to rub the rose on her hand when ordered, she probably wouldn’t risk her life to protect her master.

Dalla looked at Kolara one last time with her glowing green eyes, turned around, and took a step toward the curtains. ”You pass, I already did you a favor. But remember this, power, obedience to those above you, and respect. If you maintain those three, you’ll get up in no time.”

As Dalla walked out, she saw Arad pulling Hathfield by the neck as he thrust inside her so hard and deep that she could see her belly bulging. He was already using the same size he uses on Isdis and the others, so Hathfield’s flexibility was impressive.

She approached and stood beside them, watched for a few seconds, and then leaned down to look at Hathfield’s face. She was still conscious, albeit barely. She had seen that blissful face many times.

”Your Majesty, I want to suggest taking Kolara as Li’s Concubine instead of just a Mistress, but I know that such a decision would need Li’s input first.” She looked at him. ”She has great potential, pain tolerance, and a powerful body. Breaking her fingers felt as hard as twisting steel rods. I’m sure that she’ll turn into a powerhouse if fed enough.”

”Is that so?” Arad looked at her and smiled. ”What kind of powerhouse are you talking about?”

”She’ll at least become stronger than me, maybe even reach a high level if given the chance, resources, and care needed.” Dalla smiled. ”I’m willing to bet on her.” She ran her fingers over Arad’s massive shoulder. ”She is good, too good.”

”Mind if I hear your reasoning?” Arad smiled. ”I can read your mind, but it’s easier if you explain it yourself.”

Dalla nodded. ”At her current strength, age, and endurance, she still managed to stand still and not run away.” She lifted her hand and swung it down at Arad’s massive back with full force, ripping a chunk of his skin off; the shockwave was enough to wake everyone up.

Arad’s skin immediately healed, and he looked at Dalla. ”Want to turn me on? You can just ask for a second round.” She smiled. ”Besides you, she is the only one who could stand still and let me touch her on the same day I slapped her.”

Dalla licked her fingers. ”She was shaking. She pissed herself. She would’ve shat herself if I didn’t have her and the maids clean their backsides beforehand, but still, through all of that fear, she stood still, let me touch her, and didn’t even move a muscle as I broke all of her fingers one by one. Even Lady Eris would unconsciously back away from my hand for a while after taking a slap.”

She smiled. ”And you’re the only one to fight me back. I can still remember that first day we met.”

”Dalla...” Cerilla stared at them as she sat up. ”Did you just slap Arad?” She asked, and Dalla nodded. ”Who else would stay silent?”

Cerilla sighed. ”His not reacting, crying, or moving doesn’t mean he doesn’t feel the pain. Arad can endure a lot, but his patience isn’t limitless. Try him a lot, and he might pound you till you die.”

Hathfield’s maid was horrified beside Arad, having pissed herself just hearing the crack beside her head. ”You... you slapped him?!” She cried after being stunned for a while, and Dalla looked at her. ”Yes, I just told Lady Cerilla that I did.”

”But... he didn’t flinch?” She looked at Arad, and Dalla smiled. ”Of course he won’t flinch. I can slap him over and over until my hands fall off, and he won’t even blink. Arad is that much stronger than anyone else, and I’m not talking about physical might, but mental fortitude.”

”Pain is an illusion. It is the way your nerves tell the brain that there is damage to the body. By activating all of those nerves at once with a slap, I can convince the brain that a lot of damage was done, like the feeling of your skin being ripped off with each heartbeat, or your bones being shredded like cheese.” She rubbed her hand on Arad’s back. ”He felt his skin being torn, bones being shredded, and everything. But to Arad, he had seen worse, and my slaps, albeit extremely painful, won’t touch him.”

She licked his neck. ”That’s why I love him so much... I can slap him as much as I want, and he won’t even react.”
