The dragon's harem

Chapter 2041: One More [Ho-white Nova]

Eris flew at Arad as fast as she could, and he swung his sword at her in a flash. Her fist slid past his blade, yet he still managed to twist her arm with the sheer gravitational pull of the blade, and twisted the angle of the slash to cut her arm cleanly off.

She growled as her arm instantly healed, and jumped to the side to avoid her head being sliced cleanly off, but Arad had already read her move and teleported to where she was dodging to.

”Blade Dance? Really, only dark elves could do it!” She growled at Arad, and the smile covering his now beautiful dark elf face made her shiver. ”Only their goddess can, since she tailored the dance to perfectly fit her body.”

He started moving faster and faster as the momentum of each attack compounded with his void step teleportation and Vorvadoss’s space magic, making him move like a violent ghost. Each step was faster than the one before, and yet, his body was holding well.

He had already far surpassed his past speed record, but it wasn’t as easy as it seemed. Even if he copied the goddess’s body, he still got many details wrong. The faster he moved, the more trouble the tiny imperfections in his body caused him.

One example was his chest, he got a fraction of a gram wrong, and the result when moving at a speed hundreds of times the speed of sound was his breasts ripping apart like they didn’t belong to him, and they took his pectoral muscles with them, causing him to abruptly stop swinging, and then crashing away.

As he hit the ground, Eris was staring at him with a horrified face, seeing him stand with his beating heart exposed to the air, beating like a loud drum. ”Got the weight a bit wrong... Let’s try again.” His flesh mended itself, and in a second, he was moving again as if nothing had happened.

This time, his chest didn’t rip off, but his legs shattered, since he miscalculated their length, tripped on his own toes, and hit the floor while trying to cut Eris in half.

”Stop it! What are you doing!?” Eris shouted at him, and Arad looked at her with a smile. ”Of course, trial and error. I thought that since I got that Nymph’s body that I would’ve gotten used to a woman’s body, but it seems I was wrong.”

”He... is trying to mimic Elas’s moves...” Amaterasu growled with a frown, ”And he is doing a good job at it... damn it, Cain, why does he need to be like you?”

In the past, Cain had also used this same trick and polymorphed into the goddess’s body to use her dance.

”They have the same mindset. If there is a power source, they’ll take it. It is just that there aren’t that many crazy people like them who would attempt such a thing.” Yog looked at the fight with a smile. ”Besides, AO is the one who made everything and anything. He is the entire universe, and can become anything he wants. If Arad wanted to become the dark elf goddess and mimic her moves, he would eventually do it. If Eris wants to win this fight, she has to stop him before he learns and evolves.”

Yog then floated down and looked at Eris. ”You’d better try harder, use your gravity, and don’t show him any mercy. There isn’t a limit to what he’ll do; there was never a limit to begin with, so don’t wait and just fight back.”

”You’re here?!” Eris growled, ”Still, it’s easier said than done!” She was doing her best to avoid being slashed. Blade Dance, in and of itself, was made to overwhelm opponents, so any attacks that Eris threw at Arad always ended up with a counter that was deadlier than the one before.

Yog shrugged, ”Well, it can’t be helped. I’ll help you.” She then waved her arm. ”Blade Dance’s weakness is that it needs an opponent, a resisting one at that. If you keep your distance and avoid him long enough, he’ll be forced to slow down!”

Eris immediately did that and jumped away, using the gravitational pull of her sun to move even faster away from Arad, but he immediately teleported to her side and swung the blade down.

”Easier said than done!” Arad was stuck to her like glue, following her everywhere like her shadow.

But it was then that Eris thought of a way to slow Arad down, a method that she could easily exploit. As she ran away from Arad, his body suddenly burst into flames, and then, purple plasma ate his body from the inside out.

Falling with a blinding purple flash, Arad hit the ground, and Eris landed far away. ”It worked.” To slow Arad down, she abused the divine link she had with him, and instead of granting him divine power, she used that link to inject her purple plasma directly into his body and burn him alive.

Watching Arad’s body burn, she smiled. ”Can you still move with my divine plasma burning your soul?”

”You fool! Run away while you can!” Yog shouted at her, and Arad immediately roared like a titanic beast. His void alone was enough to snuff Eris’ flames, and as his flesh rapidly regenerated while getting burned by the divine flames, Eris could finally feel the difference between their souls.

Eris turned around and flew as fast as she could with sweat rushing down her face. This... wasn’t the Arad she knew, but a monster that even the gods fear...

The entire space around them ripped apart, and Eris found herself getting pulled back by a tremendous force. It wasn’t simple gravity, but the fabric of space itself getting sucked into Arad’s stomach.

Amaterasu, Yog, and Kali all flew away to safety, and they watched as Eris held onto the ground as even her harrowing speed and weight weren’t enough to save her.

”That isn’t AO coming out, is it?” Amaterasu asked, and Yog shrugged. ”If it were him, Eris would already be out. That’s just Arad himself. He is trying to consume matter around him to fuel himself.” She pointed at Arad’s body, who had already turned into his draconic form, and was now expanding his elemental expansion.

”That is just him trying really, really, really hard to just suck everything into his stomach. He is using his gravity magic, void properties, that tiny black hole, and space manipulation to achieve this... Oh, and the gravitational pull of Eris’s sun that she has inside him, that is why she can’t escape.”

But then, the pull suddenly topped, and silence fell. Eris looked back with a pale face and saw Arad’s massive draconic body hovering a few hundred meters in the air. He opened his titanic maw and then breathed a stream of smoke and fire.

Seeing that, Eris immediately understood what Arad was doing, and she almost pissed herself. This was the same as that day when he blew Vlad’s kingdom into ash with the [Ho-white Nova] the goddess of fire gave him.

She immediately used the eyes of one of her angels who was inside Arad’s stomach to see what he did, and at that point, she leaked a bit out. Right outside the solar system formed by her purple sun, Arad had made a titanic orb of compressed and boiling matter, a [Ho-white Nova] that was at least four times as big as her purple sun, and he was about to barf that thing out on her face.

Eris now didn’t have any time and had to hide. If she tried to run away, he would just teleport and spit that thing on her face.

Lifting both hands up, she clamped her fingers together and stared at Arad with a crazed smile. ”You really can kill gods! ARAD!”

[Elemental Expansion: Purple sun] The only way to endure Arad’s blast was to hide inside her own sun and hope for the best. But even with that, she still had to think and try to figure out a plan to win the fight.

[God Shattering Star]

When Arad spat the titanic [Ho-white Nova], everything got washed white, and then, a blinding flash that could be seen from thousands of light-years away bloomed. The abominations who saw it a while later almost believed it was Amaterasu rampaging again.

”Now that’s a big one.” Two more women appeared behind Yog, Amaterasu, and Kali, and they were familiar faces. Zaleria, and her mother, the divine goddess of fire, Kossuth, who once usurped Tiamat as a mortal drakaina.

”It is too big for his age.” Zaleria added with a growl.

”Let a man show off.” Focalor, Zephyr’s father, also suddenly appeared beside them, and before they could even know it, he was already sniffing Amaterasu’s hair. ”As beautiful as ever, our Empress.”

Amaterasu didn’t seem to care about him, but Zaleria immediately kicked him in the face and sent him flying. ”Sultan of wind Djinns, you nasty bastard! Stay away from her!”
