The dragon's harem

Chapter 2011: Soi Mi, The Shard

When Ki made her way to the VIP room, Eris stared at her with a slightly surprised face. ”You didn’t run away? I honestly thought you’d run.” She then turned around and waved her hand, ”Forget it, I won’t rip your womb out. Once more, thank her.” She pointed at Liana. ”But it won’t be for free.”

Liana pointed at an empty book on the table and a block of ink, ”Write an entire manual explaining your technique, and how to accurately manipulate the power output from dual cultivation.”

Ki blinked several times. ”Wait, what do you intend to do? The output can be manipulated, yes. That’s how masters can choose to only grant their disciples a fraction of their power. But that manipulation is very limited; it is like trying to pick thin needles with two massive logs.”

Kali looked at her. ”Don’t worry, the one going to use it is known for breaking the laws of every technique he learns. I’m going to have Arad learn it.” She intended to have Arad use that technique to grant power to Tina, and any of his wives who couldn’t grow stronger on her own.

Ki paled, ”Wait! That huge man! No, no! You don’t understand anything, little girl!” She growled, frantically waving her arms, ”You don’t know what kind of nightmare he is! He isn’t just powerful; I couldn’t sense a limit to his power. If I as much as touched him with the technique on, my organs would burst, and my entire body would burn to ash.”

”You cannot use lightning to light a candle... no, it was like trying to carefully heat a droplet of water with an erupting volcano.”

Kali thought about it for a few seconds, ”Demon Lord of Love said the same thing, I guess. But, just write the technique down. If it is possible way, we better have it recorded.”

With a tired face, Ki went to start writing her technique down, and the three looked down at the arena. The next fight would start soon, but it is late due to the mess that Ki caused.

”Look, that referee is back in the arena.” Kali pointed at Liana looked forward with a stern face.

”This fight would be loud.” With a quick flick of her wrist, she pulled several pairs of earplugs, handed two pairs to Eris and Kali, threw a pair to Ki, and then gave the rest to the servants standing by the walls.

”The arena has to apologize for the disturbance caused earlier. Lady Bloody Rose and her associates had dealt with the issue, so everyone should be safe in the hallways.” The referee shouted and then pointed with one hand at the red gate. She was about to call the first contestant in, but the entire crowd just froze in silence, since out of nowhere, a woman was standing behind the referee.

The referee noticed everyone staring at her, and she quickly turned around, screaming in surprise as she saw the smiling, tiny face looking back at her. The woman, or girl, or whoever she was, stood at barely five feet tall, wore a dress with a passive skirt, puffy shoulders, and countless frills and flower decorations. Honestly, she looked like a showcase doll.

”HEY! Lovely Liana!” The girl waved her arm with a smile, ”I know you can hear me! Don’t ignore me!”

Liana kicked the window open, and stood at the frame, glaring down at the arena. ”Soi Mi, how many times I told you to not address me like this?”

Soi Mi looked a bit hurt, ”What? Come on, we’ve knew each other for decades, we’re more than just best friends.” She then looked at her with a smile, ”So... can you hook me? Don’t tell me you don’t know anything.”

Liana glared down at her with a cold face. ”Hook you? I’ll hook you up from that mouth like a fish.”

”Lady Soi Mi, please go back to your corner I want to start the fight.” As the referee approached her, Soi Mi stared at her for a second. ”Nope! Don’t want to! Not before Liana hooks me up.” She reached down into the referee’s robe, grabbed her panties, and pulled them over her head in a single move, then pushed her back.

The referee rolled on the ground as the crowd stared at her heart filled underwear for a second, and then she quickly freed herself, looked at the other gate, and growled. ”I don’t care! Sound Burst Soi Mi had made it into the arena! Let Song Bird, Alla in!” She shouted, waved her arm, and the blue gate opened up.

Alla, a tall woman in a tight dress and carrying a large flute, slowly walked in, glared at Soi Mi with a frown, and growled. ”You dare ignore the arena’s traditions?”

Soi Mi looked back at her with a smile. ”Shut up, third-rate singer.” She then pointed at the man standing beside the gong with one finger. ”You there, buff gorilla, ring that thing!”

His face burned red, and he lifted his arm. ”Alla, break a few of her bones for me.” And then, with all of his might, he hit the gong as hard as he could, signalling the start of the fight.

Alla lifted both of her hands, brought her flute to her lips, and played a melodic song. The ground vibrated, and a wave of power burst forward, powerful enough to tear both flesh and bone.

In that fraction of a second, Soi Mi cleared her throat, and then, simply screamed toward Alla at the top of her lungs, unleashing an explosive blast of compressed air moving faster than sound, and the impact itself was so powerful that Liana had to immediately move and protect the audience with a barrier array.

Alla’s wave got easily consumed, and even though she lifted both arms to protect herself at the last moment, the shockwave still hit her hard enough to rip her clothes apart, tear her skin, and shatter her bones.

”Soi Mi! You utter fool! Using such an attack in this small arena! Do you want to cause a massacre?!” Liana growled at her, and Soi Mi just looked up with a blushing smile. ”I know it, we share the same mind and heart. Look, you perfectly matched me and managed to protect the crowd.”

But that last word, Soi Mi, was already leaning on Liana’s shoulder and playing with her hair, ”Look, such silky hair and lovely skin.” And then, her burning pink eyes turned around, glaring directly at Kali and Eris. ”Tell me, who are those two? Are they related to him, my fated one?”

”Stop it! You fool! Don’t offend them!” But it was already late, as Soi Mi was an inch away from Kali’s face. ”This one looks like a child, but she doesn’t feel like it.” Her eyes quickly shifted to Eris, ”And you don’t look like her, so not a mother and her daughter, you aren’t his family...”

Then, she reached toward Kali and lifted her up. ”Anyway, she is such a cute child.” Then, with a large smile on her face, she turned toward Eris, ”Do you mind if I have her try a few of my dresses? I’m sure they’ll look good on her. It is a shame to let her wear those rags.”

Kali smiled, ”So, an insane one.” She lifted her hand and then flicked her fingers. In that second, another woman appeared in the room, and it was Isabella, Creation herself.

”What was that?” Soi Mi looked back, saw Isabella, and froze for a second.

Isabella on the other hand just looked surprised, and then, she opened her arms.

Soi Mi immediately jumped at her with a kiss, and the two of them merged into a burning ball of divine light. ”What is going on!?” Liana growled, and before she could get an answer, the light faded away, and only Isabella remained standing in the room. She took a deep breath and then gasped, ”AH! Finally, a part of my power.”

”Soi Mi! Soi Mi!” Liana looked around, ”Where did she go?”

”I absorbed her. Her soul was a shard of mine, and got her back.” Isabella then flicked her finger, and Soi Mi appeared out of nowhere. ”Here, I can release her, but...”

Soi Mi landed, looked at her hands, and then sighed. ”Nothing... Sorry Liana, but I found my place.”
