The dragon's harem

The forest shook, and the ground cracked. The shockwaves of the harrowing battle reached the nearest village and set its people into panic, thinking some kind of titanic monster was on the loose.

Yuwaku fought the remaining devils alone, relying on her supreme strength, blinding speed, stolen curses, and deadly sword to breach the gape in numbers and power between her and the hellspawns.

The most deadly of her abilities was the sword she wielded, which was by no means normal. The Sword of Beauty was merely an extension of her beauty, using it to challenge the world itself.

A devil lifted his spear, standing in front of Yuwaku to block her swing. He already reinforced himself with his curse, Iron Will. By staying still, he can dramatically increase his strength, durability, and all defenses by tens of times. He had once blocked a strike from the Demon Lord Demogorgan like this.

Yuwaku’s sword came down, silently cleaving the demon alongside his spear with ease. “You know it. Don’t you?” Yuwaku whispered as she flew between the devil’s bloodied two halves.

His eyes were still moving, and they glared at her with rage. Only when he felt the hit did he understand the power in her sword. He was the ugly one.

The sword of beauty had one power, the measure of beauty. Its sharpness and power directly correlate to the difference in beauty between Yuwaku and whatever she is trying to cut. The only drawback it has is that neither Yuwaku nor the sword decides who is more beautiful; the opponent does.

The devil knew and believed that Yuwaku was hundreds, if not thousands, of times more beautiful than he was, so the strike’s power was amplified by the same magnitude.

If the opponent became aware of that rule or was a narcissist who thinks they are more beautiful than a Nymph, the sword won’t be able to harm them.

As all the devils were still oppressed by Arad’s shadow glaring down at them, Yuwaku cut them one after another with her sword. One strike is all it took.

Only one devil remained, a pit fiend, tall, angry, and with two horns the size of arms. He screamed his lungs out when he saw all of the devils die one after another, his whole squad wiped out by a single Nymph. Whatever her origin was, they stumbled upon a true monster of nature.

He lifted his hand, “You rotten bitch!” He caught Yuwaku’s sword with his open palm. “I’ll skin your ugly face out and sell you to the ghouls. Do you really think that a mere worm of the mortal world has the right to stand up to devils? Wake up, foolish mortal.”

His body exploded into curses, and the blast threw Yuwaku back. She hit a tree and quickly regained her footing, seeing the devil turn into a giant minotaur-looking creature. He saw himself as a superior being to all that spawned in the mortal world, his mind overwriting Yuwaku’s sword power.

“A curse that mixes your blood with demons?” Yuwaku giggled. Demons and devils were lifelong enemies; they hated each other with passion, so seeing a devil that could turn into a demon was quite funny.

The devil gains immense power, but injures their pride by turning to what they hate the most. All curses worked the same; they gave power for a price.

Yuwaku was now in a tight spot. This one was far stronger than her in both physical and magical abilities. Fighting him head-on is a death sentence, unless he decides to open his eyes and look at her. But the biggest problem of all is time. Now that he has her almost pinned, she can’t go around and make sure the devils she killed remain dead.

The dead devils would soon come back to life, except the three whose souls she ate.

He took a single step, opened his massive maw, and breathed a torrent of crimson flames. The sky turned red, and the snow in a hundred-meter area all evaporated at once, the ground melted, and the devil could feel Yuwaku’s magic fading away.

But then, a jaw burst out of his flames, red, small, and angry. Ignis flew right through the violent flames and clenched her jaw on the devil’s throat, biting with all of her strength. She is a red wyrmling that is nearly immune to fire, so the devil’s attack almost did nothing to her.

A wyrmling’s bite force was equivalent to that of a crocodile the same size, so her sharp fangs sank deeply into the devil’s soft throat, ripping it apart.

The devil’s fire breath stopped, and he growled, his eyes still shut, but he could guess. It was the red wyrmling that Yuwaku hid before the start of the fight; she must’ve pulled it out.

“You think… a mere pet… can harm the great me?” He growled, and the mere fact that he could speak meant that Ignis’s fangs couldn’t get in too deep.

His fist flew at blinding speed, aiming to swat Ignis away. But before he could hit her, something jumped at him from the charred tree tops. A massive, black jaguar with glowing golden eyes. Agnar’s fangs sank right into the devil’s skull, crushing his bones and brain with a single hit.

The next thing the devil knew, he was standing back in hell in front of Maharaja.

The powerful devil was killed swiftly, but the fight wasn’t over yet. The devils Yuwaku killed with her sword were resurrecting one after another, and all of them knew of the way that blade worked now. As long as they firmly believe they are more beautiful than Yuwaku, they can’t be cut with it again.

Obelisk also came out, and she glared at everyone around, her eyes fixing on Yuwaku for a second before she sighed. “We’ll talk later.”

Obelisk’s body expanded into a massive, hulking demon with two ape heads, tentacles for arms, and a snake for a tail. This was Demogorgan, the Demon Lord that Gojo hunted and fed her.

The situation was still bad. Even Obelisk came to realize that Yuwaku is their strongest; she had managed to slay all devils except one on her own, so could they survive now? Will the devil that Agnar just killed resurrect? What should they do?

“What are you doing?” A sharp, ringing voice spoke from above, and everyone froze: devils, Yuwaku, Agnar, and even Obelisk. None dared even take a single breath.

They didn’t look, but knew exactly what kind of horror was flying above. Why was she here? The devils didn’t know. But Yuwaku knew what such a being would show up.

“I asked. What are you doing?”

Zephyr slowly floated down and landed on the snow, barely coming to their ankles in height, but still, the magic rushing out of her body was so oppressive that even the devils started sweating.

“We were…” One of the devils opened his mouth, only for his body to burst into a red mist of blood. Zephyr ripped him apart and spread all of his cells across the whole world, literally cutting him into a billion pieces in the blink of an eye.

“You dare use my air to breathe and speak to me after you tried to attack my daughter? Know your place, hellspawn.” She sighed, then looked at one of the devils, the one who looked the most scared. “You can use my air to speak if you can’t talk with magic. Tell me, what were you doing here?”

“We were minding our own business! I swear! They killed our scout, so we came to check, and she attacked us! It wasn’t our fault.” The devil cried, and Zephyr nodded.

“I see, I see… but let me explain something to you.” She looked at them with a gentle smile. “You’re here, doing whatever you want, minding your own business as you said. My daughter is over there.” She pointed at Yuwaku, “Comes out of nowhere, kills you all, then you resurrect. Once you’re back, she’ll skin you alive, piss on all of you, then make you her slaves for the rest of time.”

She looked at the devils with a grin. “Do you know what you should do?”

“Call you?”

“No, you should thank her and beg for more. I don’t give a shit what’s right or wrong, you’re in my turf. You aren’t even supposed to exist in the mortal world.” She started flying. “You’re lucky my husband isn’t around. He would’ve ripped you open here and in hell.”

With a single flick, she evaporated them all by exploding the air they already breathed.
