The dragon's harem

Arad opened his eyes and gazed at the vast dark sea and the starlit sky.

“Anything new?” Gojo asked from the back, and Arad smiled.

“I got four. Doma, Yuwaku, Eris, and Plum.”

Arad stood and turned around, then cracked his neck and shoulders. He has been sitting on the hard ground for a while, trying to find any way to communicate with the outer world. “Being a patron is kinda of exhausting and inefficient.”

Gojo laughed. “Patrons are wannabe gods with shitty powers; clerics and paladins are far better. Their only saving grace is that they can grant more versatile abilities.”

“They better be, otherwise, we here won’t be able to do much.” Arad sat down and quickly explained what his team would do.

The first was Doma, who would act independently of the other three. Instead of taking any other simple route, she thinks the fastest and safest method would be to smoke Entropy out, then have Kali deal with her.

That is why, while still protecting Tina, Doma started working on a curse that infects wild magic and corrupts it. Her goal is to mess things up so much that Entropy would be forced out of hiding.

Doma’s plan was simple but impossible to achieve. To make her job easier, she got some of Kali’s divine magic to experiment on. Kali and Entropy should be on the same level of power, and Doma’s curses are the exact opposite of divine magic. So she wanted to use those aspects to create a curse powerful enough to infect Entropy’s wild magic.

Since Doma’s plan didn’t require her to do much besides that, she remained with Tina to protect her. The others had more things to do.

In a desolate, freezing, dark alleyway, a little girl walked alone, barefoot, wearing a holy robe, and carrying a carefree smile on her face, exposing her razor-sharp teeth.

Soon, thugs in fur armor surrounded her, emerging in dozens from between the buildings like cockroaches. It only took a second for the little girl to find herself fully surrounded.

“Little girl, where do you think you’re going like that? You’ll freeze to death.” One of them pulled a knife and pointed at her, then at the next house. “Get inside, holy sacrifice. We’ll call the temple carriage for you.”

Another laughed in the back. “They’ll carry you all the way to the capital. You want to be eaten by that goddess of theirs. No one else wears such white robes around here.”

The little girl, Lucy, giggled with a grin. She lifted her hand and pointed at the ground with one finger. “Rats, I know there should be a path to the underworld from here. Where can I find it?”

The thugs glared at her in silence for a second, then one of them sighed. “That’s what you’re looking for? You’re a weird one then. Follow us.”

Their attitude completely changed; what looked like a kidnapping attempt at first had suddenly turned a bit more inviting. If Lucy were any normal kid, she might’ve fallen for it. But to the thug’s horror, they knew nothing of the monster they stumbled upon.

“I can feel it.” She spoke, and the thugs stopped moving, noticing that she didn’t take a single step.

“What?” The thug who spoke earlier slowly turned around and glared at her. “Did your feet get stuck to the stone? That’s why you shouldn’t walk barefoot outside.”

“You’re hungry, aren’t you, all of you.” Lucy turned her head and looked at them all. “I look delicious, don’t I? You can’t wait to sink your teeth into me. Feeling mutual.”

Their heinous intentions were clear to her eyes as the two suns in the sky; unmistakable and obvious. She fully understood and accepted them, taking it as a matter of fact.

Lucy licked her sharp teeth, and her mouth suddenly extended into a massive maw. In the blink of an eye, the thug who was trying to speak with her was bitten in half; only his bloodied lower half remained standing.

Seeing the harrowing scene, hearing their bones and flesh of their comrade rip and tear apart, crunching inside Lucy’s mouth made half of the thugs puke and the other half shat themselves, crying in horror.

As Lucy swallowed the upper half, she extended her tongue and licked, grabbed the thug’s lower half, pulling it into her mouth before licking the alleyway clean out of the blood with her massive tongue.

Seconds later, she was standing there, looking like any other innocent little girl; the bulky man had fully disappeared into her small frame, eaten whole.

Lucy burped and then glared at everyone else. “See, he’s now inside me as he wanted, whole from head to toes even. Line up and I’ll let you all in, slowly and painfully, with as many screams as you’ve ever dreamed of.”

She then took a step forward. “If you changed your minds, how about you lead me to where I want to go?”

After a moment of silence, one of the thugs finally moved, and he wasn’t so smart about it. Pulling his sword, he flashed across the alleyway, aiming a devastating slash at Lucy’s neck with all of his power behind it. He knew he would probably die a horrible death, but he couldn’t care less; all he wanted to do was kill this freakish monster.

“Die, you Demon!”

The thug’s sword hit Lucy’s neck and shattered like glass, exploding into thousands of brilliant sparks.

“Demon?” Lucy looked at the thug. “Do you think demons are as beautiful, elegant, merciful, and understanding as I am? Stop insulting them. They would’ve never let rats like you live.”

When her eyes landed on him, the man fell to his knees, holding his stomach with both hands. He could feel his intestines twisting and contorting. Absolute hunger and starvation washed over his body, one so blindingly painful that he even forgot who he was.

His face fell to the ground, and his skin dried up as his body broke down his own muscles rapidly for nourishment.

Lucy took a few steps toward the man and stepped on the back of his head. “You want to eat? Then go, live, forever blessed by health. No matter how sick you get, you’ll never die. Wallow in feces and dung like the pig you are.”

As Lucy walked past him, the man rushed away like a madman at the other thugs. They shoved him away, only to see him scrape their shit and shove it down his throat. The hair on the back of his head fell, leaving a horrid black scar in the shape of Lucy’s foot.

Terrified at the horror they witnessed, the remaining thugs obediently guided Lucy to where she wanted to go, to a dark pathway leading deep underground from a hidden cellar door.

She looked, sensing the magic engraved on the door’s frame. “I see, that’s why we couldn’t detect it.” She frowned, then looked back at the thugs.

“Good work, rats. As a reward, I’ll let you choose.”

Twelve barrels appeared behind Lucy, all of them filled to the brim with rusted nails, spikes, splinters, and hungry maggots. She glared back at them, “Eat with your own will till you die, and I’ll consider you. Chicken out, and I’ll make you eat by force, and throw your asses straight to the depths of hell.”

One of the thugs gulped, looked at the barrels. “You’ll consider what?”

She glared back at him, and the man screamed as he started violently shoving everything up his throat.

“You’ll die, but the rest will now be the answer to your question.” She glared at the other thugs. “I’ll consider reincarnating you as pigs, rats, and cockroaches.”

She then walked into the darkness, leaving the thugs alone for their remaining moments of life.

As she went deeper into the darkness, she frowned. “Shut up, Gojo. I was harsh enough. What else should I have done? Skinned them alive and hanged them to dry and die? Jerky is good, but a pain to make. They got what they deserve.”

She remained silent for a few seconds and then growled again. “Who am I to decide? A damned goddess!”

“I said, Stop calling me a little girl! I’m a divine being. What kind of girl would go around doing what I did? None! Didn’t you see how I ate that one? Not even monsters are that violent.” She huffed and puffed for a few seconds before calming down.

“I know, I know… next time I will call someone else to deal with those kinds of people. Just stop bugging me about it.” She sighed and found an empty spot where she vomited the man’s mangled and chewed corpse.

“Here you go, happy?” She then cleaned her mouth with some water and kept going, Gojo constantly running his mouth inside her head.
