The dragon's harem

After another quick exchange, Tyal and Gale jumped away from each other. Each one of them was bleeding, but Tyal’s wounds were far fewer and shallower than those of her father. It was a miracle that he was still holding up against her due to their vast level gap, but in reality, miracles rarely happen.

Gale was only holding back this long thanks to the enchantments of his armor and the arena itself. Tyal, on the other hand, was going in raw with only her sharp blade, which was the traditional way. This battle was supposed to be a test of the Titans’ power, not the power of their equipment and tools.

After several centuries and when weapon and armor enchantment became a common thing, using them was allowed in the fights of the Eye of the Storm.

Of course, Tyal had reasons for why she went in without an enchantment. The first was because she was already far higher level than her father and she wasn’t going to bully him by going all out. Discarding her enchantments was her way of evening the playing field into a battle of pure skill.

The second reason is because of what Arad said. Tyal’s beast form would merge all of her armor and weapon enchantment into her wind which means she would scale much higher with items. That was a dangerous path as she would grow to rely too much on her tools, which could lead to her death one day.

Tyal wants to find out how far can she go on her own with that form when she needs to use it and then see what she can do with enchantments. As expected, Arad had many enchanted weapons and armor in his arsenal which he could lend or give her.

Tyal looked at her father, both of them had already fought long enough with weapons and magic. This fight isn’t going anywhere as long as they are confined to their Titan form. It was the time for them to transform.

Gale was the first to transform. He lifted his sword in front of him and then dropped it. The sword sank into the ground, shattering into mist as lightning sparked from Gale’s back and eyes.

“Get ready.” He said in a calm tone, [TEMPEST]

Gale’s massive body grew even larger as he turned into a swirling mass of black wind and clouds, roaring and howling like a tornado. A somewhat humanoid form made of pure raging wind and rain, two glowing blue orbs of light could be seen flashing through it like eyes.

Gale’s [TEMPEST] beast form turned him into a creature of the elemental wind, a living tempest that spanned over ten kilometers wide, enough to swallow a whole city and rip it apart. Each tiny gust of wind in it carried his harrowing Titanic power, turning him into a being far above the realm of what any mortal could hope to achieve even with the greatest magic spells.

Seeing her father’s beast form for the third time. The first was when she was a kid, the second was when fought Zeus, and now he is facing her. Tyal smiled and lowered her sword.

At first, she had spent hours thinking about how to deal with her father’s beast form as he is immune to physical attacks and highly resistant to wind attacks, but that was before she got her own beast form. Tyal never expected her short spar with Arad to allow her to achieve her own beast form.

All of her plans had been rendered meaningless because of that, but she couldn’t be happier, now she has something that she can challenge her father’s beast form with.

“Evanesce, ameliorate, and choler.” Tyal’s eyes flashed white and the crowd froze because she was doing something that not many Titans did. She was chanting magic to initiate her transformation.

Usually, Titans would transform without the need for chanting, but those who need to chant usually have forms that are stronger than normal and that extra power can only be tapped by chanting.

Gale knew that whatever Tyal was going to pull off, it was far stronger than what she pulled while fighting Arad. This meant that he had to stop her before she could transform, which was a shameful disgraceful thing to do, but it was far better than losing.

Gale flew forward with a roaring gale of violent wind and slammed into her, trying to take her down before she could fully transform, but his wind seemed to grow weaker the closer he got to her. It was due to the words of her chant.

Evanesce was an order to dissipate, driven through magic, it somehow interfered with his will over the mana in the air. Tyal is extending her control of magic outside her body and into the outside air, challenging the will of Zephyr over the atmosphere. Well, just trying to overtake a small section of it, and Zephyr didn’t seem to mind letting Tyal have her way.

The wind around her then turned stronger and took on the mark of her magic, slowly turning into an extension of her body. Gale now couldn’t get close to her in his wind form, as if he was faced with a solid wall. That was the effect of [Ameliorate].

Then the last word of her chanting took effect, and the storm plaguing the Storm Titan kingdom halted for a few seconds. Tyal’s power expanded outside her body as if trying to cast an elemental expansion, but she was in fact doing the opposite. Instead of expanding her magic into the outside world, she was taking the magic of the outside world and fusing herself with it. She was turning into a raging typhoon as per the [Choler] part of the chant.

The eternal storm around roared once more, but this time, Tyal was nowhere to be seen. Instead, just the eye of the storm in the sky shifted, looking down at Gale with cold indifference.

Tyal’s beast form had mixed with the eternal storm of the Storm Titan’s kingdom and turned her into a literal titanic typhoon that spanned over ten thousand kilometers wide, larger enough to even engulf Arad’s own expansion.
