The dragon's harem

Sena was in her room. Unlike everyone else who still lived in the university’s dorm, she had bought a medium-sized home at the outskirts of Croc’s city. Even if she calls it a medium house, it was still far larger than what the richest noble of Croc city could afford.

The house had two stories, a large basement, several large rooms, and a massive dining hall with an included bar.

Sena walked out of her room with hurried steps. Arad is coming soon; she saw him through Selica’s eyes.

She must make sure the house is presentable. Of course, she had many things she would rather he not see. First, she inspected the hallways, the flower pots, and even looked beneath the carpet.

“Good, no teeth, no saliva, and no groaning.”

Soon she found herself in the dining room and approached the bar. A pale woman stood behind the counter with an empty expression, staring at the distance with dead eyes.

As expected of a stone, this woman looks more like a corpse than a living being.

“Come here, you look deader than a zombie.”

Hearing Sena’s command. The woman flinched. She then walked toward her with slow and unsteady steps. She indeed looked and walked like a zombie. Seeing her move like that creeped even Sena, who made her.

“Yeah, you’re good enough to serve wine but not to serve wine to someone.”

The woman can pour wine or any drink for Sena, but she won’t be able to carry a bottle and walk to any of the tables. She probably won’t recognize any other glass besides Sena’s collections of fancy glasses she uses.

Sena reached with her hand, and her fingers sank into the woman’s face. “Let’s see, first, to make you look better.”

Sena could mold the woman’s flesh like dough, stretching and smoothing it with the slightest touch. When making servants for the house, she only needed to be functional, so she used a few stones she picked from the garden as bases, but that was just a lazy solution.

Sena’s main power is her control over lifeforce. She can breathe a golden wind of life into inanimate objects or twist the flesh of the living to her liking.

This woman was made of a tiny pebble that stuck to her shoe in the garden. She made the woman on a whim, and now has to worry about making herself look at least acceptable in front of Arad.

Sena first gave her skin a bit of color, instead of leaving her as ashy as the stone she was made from. She then changed the color of her eyes and teeth, painted a bit of pinkish vibrancy on her cheek, and pulled her chest a bit forward, making it slightly larger, but still smaller than Sena herself.

Sena then changed the woman’s hair, making it slightly red in color, and smoothed it a bit, making it feel at least a bit better than before. It was as hard and sharp as a metal brush.

“Now, give me a gentle bow.” Sena looked at the now alive-looking woman with a large smile.

The woman tried to bow, but she fell headfirst. What little motor skills Sena had gave her at first were only enough for her to move her hands and pour wine.

Sena sighed and shook her head. This woman was useless without a brain. To make things faster, she has to use an implicit technique. Sena grabbed one of her fingers and ripped it off.

The finger twisted and moved like the severed tail of a lizard, coming to life. Soon, the finger had turned into an ugly, tentacle worm. Sena’s hand had already healed, and the woman was standing again.

Sena closed her eyes and looked into the depths of hell. Her vision searched for a few seconds until she found a suitable sinner soul and snatched it.

She then bound that soul to the worm and then let it loose on the woman’s cheek. The worm crawled into the woman’s nose. Then through the thin bones, it made its way to her brain, burrowing inside.

The woman convulsed and groaned as her brain got overtaken by the soul worm. Her hair changed color to golden, her eyes turned blue, and her skin grew paler.

“What… happened?” The woman gasped, looking at her arms and legs, horrified. Her gaze then shifted to her surroundings, noticing the warm and cosy dining hall she was in. Terror grasped her heart as she thought for a moment that the devils were going to eat her again.

“Good, your job is to serve drinks and obey all orders with enthusiasm. I don’t need a servant who isn’t enthusiastic about their job.” Sena looked at her, “Do you understand? Otherwise, I’ll send you back to hell to keep suffering.”

The woman remained silent for a few seconds and then gasped, “YES! As you wish, my lady!” She wasn’t the one who spoke. She was still confused about everything. But her body moved on its own. No, that wasn’t her body; it was merely a shell made by whatever horror that woman was.

What terrified the woman more was that she did feel happy about serving Sena; she felt both enthralled and in love. Merely having Sena look at her was enough to make her smile.

She clearly wasn’t herself, but she was also still herself. For the first time in centuries, she had to serve someone instead of having her limbs sawn off and grilled while she was alive. This was also the first time since she was alive that she could breathe clean air that wouldn’t burn her lungs from the inside out, she wasn’t in pain, she wasn’t thirsty or hungry, and what mattered most, she was wearing clothes.

The woman happily rushed behind the counter, preparing the cocktails while humming. She somewhat knew how to make hundreds of them. Her mistress Sena must’ve injected that knowledge into her brain, how thoughtful. She won’t need to worry about messing up and getting punished.

As the woman made drinks, she watched as Sena made several more servants like her. Each one was happier than the one before. It was clear that she was manipulating them to some degree, but none of them cared. At last, they won’t have to worry about the torture of hell.

When Sena finished making all of the servants, she called them all to a short meeting in the dining hall.

“Your job is simple: do your work perfectly and with a smile. If any of you don’t want to work here, I can send you back to hell. Any questions?” She looked at them with a smile, and another woman spoke with a fearful tone.

“Will… will we get tortured or eaten alive here?”

Sena looked at her, “No, I won’t eat any of you. Your bodies were original stones that I picked outside. But torture depends on my mood. If I need to experiment on a living being, I might use one of you, but that’s a rare case.”

Sena took a deep breath, “You’re sinners, you’ve got no rights in the world of the living. All of your rights must be earned by hard work.” She looked at them with a grin.

“Sleep, for example. Right now, if any of you fall asleep, your souls would get sent back to hell to be tortured until you wake up. That means you only have so much time to please, so I allow you to sleep peacefully.”

She looked at the terrified servants, “And you’re in luck, I’ve got an important guest today, no, two guests. Do a good job, and you’ll sleep in peace.”
