Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 806: Chapter 602 Pulvey Ship Reporting to You

Hill slowly walked to the big pool of Purwell. Actually, he was also a bit curious about how Lynn ended up at odds with the elves and whether the scene was spectacular.

But Hill could also sense that Lynn seemed a bit uneasy, uncertain whether what he had done was worth it, and worried about causing Hill unnecessary trouble.

This matter probably didn’t have much to do with Hill, but Lynn needed Hill’s support to firmly refuse.

The most likely issue was the presence of the Elf Crusade; nothing could be done about it since too many elders arrived, there would always be some problems.

Elves don’t have a strong sense of family, but clan values are quite strong. All the noble and officer families following Admiral Gar would certainly have clan leaders.

Wanting the young people in the clan to follow the prince and make accomplishments instead of spending their lives as city guards in some city is quite normal.

But Hill thought, at least for now, those stubborn young elves would never leave the place they just swore to guard forever.

And Lynn is actually a standard Sun Elf, with a protectiveness inherent in his nature.

So Hill simply stopped his friend from wanting to apologize, as for him, this was never considered trouble.

Lynn was being overly cautious. Sometimes, as long as the reason was on his side, no matter what happened, Hill would support him.

Moreover, with Lynn’s character, it’s impossible that he was in the wrong if he actively quarreled with those elves.

More importantly, as long as it didn’t violate Hill’s worldview, even if Lynn caused some unreasonable trouble, Hill would back him up.

Hill quietly floated above the pool of Purwell, slowly feeling the spiritual power of the little whale within the bubble inside the Otherworldly Whale coming to life.

If the already skeletal body of the Otherworldly Whale is to be completely turned into a plane battleship, many refining steps would be required. It must begin by transferring Purwell’s soul out, then complete the initial refining as quickly as possible, and finally send him into the ship’s central controller.

Although Purwell is not a necromancer himself, appearing under the scorching sun would still harm his soul, but it is best not to appear at night either since his body is truly dead, and the shadow force can easily erode his soul.

In that case, not to mention whether Hill could use a shadow warship, it wouldn’t do justice to Purwell, who trusts him so much!

Concerning Purwell’s soul, Hill was extremely cautious.

He first used a magic book to set up a completely isolated space, and the silver Radiant Orb also flickered around the isolation shield. This spell did not necessarily need to be commanded by humans, but it would react a little slower.

But if someone could penetrate the disintegration spell cast by Hill’s spiritual power, even Hill commanding the Radiant Orb would not make a difference.

Hill just needed a bit of a reminder.

Then he slowly calculated the time, waiting for that instant at twilight when the sun and moon intersected.

The transition between sun and moon in the fantasy world is quite punctual, and Hill, with his high concentration, made no mistakes.

Purwell’s soul orb floated above him in mid-air, the little blue transparent whale curiously watching its spine, now just a layer of skin, being covered layer by layer with high-temperature liquid metal.

Hill glanced at the curious Purwell; fortunately, the skin of the Otherworldly Whale was exceptionally tough and resistant to high temperatures, or else it wouldn’t be curiosity but rage.

He looked at the metal liquid he had prepared long in advance in a pendulum, unable to hold back a sigh.

Hill had always hoped to create a material similar to Fran’s metal, which could conduct magic yet was exceptionally durable. A material that could be drawn into extremely fine threads and rolled into thin films like cicada wings really interested him.

He couldn’t always use his ancestor’s branches, leaves, and stems as materials, could he!

But the metal he finally created, though its properties were over ten times better than Fran’s, would cost at least a thousand times more in consumption.

Hill had imagined many combinations, but none worked. Despite his familiarity with mineral properties, he really couldn’t compare to Fran in terms of other materials. He was too specialized.

Hill suspected there might be some biological material in Fran’s formula, otherwise, how would he not even touch the edges?

Now this is the only successful one he created.

Hill extravagantly used a large amount of mithril and secret silver, and even the cheapest material was truesilver.

The metal material Fran created was the precious money-making treasure for his alchemy legacy, whereas Hill’s creation could probably scare several people senseless if he even talked about it.

But Hill thought, compared to the materials from a demigod, this item, albeit expensive, was at least something that could be manufactured, albeit only for his own use.

The Earth Bear could afford to use it, but Teraxil’s clan land didn’t need it, and as for traveling far... most bears preferred running on their own.

Moreover, to manufacture this thing, not only must a special high furnace be used, but it must also be burned for three whole days and nights with flames infused with the power of the sun. If the temperature dropped by even two degrees, it would completely set and be difficult to amend.

Hill had really thought he wouldn’t have an opportunity to use it.

Unexpectedly, he encountered the unfortunate Purwell.

The metal’s ability to conduct magic and its sensitivity were definitely not inferior to using the Otherworldly Whale’s own muscles; it might even react faster than their own bodies!

Hill poured as many as 10 layers before he stopped, tilting his head as he examined the formed whale body.

Then, under the furious glare of Pulvey’s suddenly widened eyes, Hill forcefully patted it and scraped it hard.

”Hill~” Pulvey roared at him in the mental sea, ”What are you doing? Do you know how strong you are? I don’t want to live in a house that’s broken before it’s even used!”

Hill scratched his head, quite satisfied with the result. The endurance of this 10-layer metal construction was several times more than Pulvey’s own. There were only slight scratches and shallow palm prints. Hill felt that even if it collided with some stronger Stellar Behemoths, there shouldn’t be any issues.

He would still apply a layer of magic defense outside.

Hill smiled sheepishly at Pulvey, then quickly added another layer of metal liquid. Now, he was truly out of stock.

Then, as dusk was ending, he hurriedly led Pulvey into the reserved entrance at the whale’s mouth.

The only place on Pulvey’s body that was exposed besides here was the eye area.

The eye area must be a window made of Crystal Flower fibers.

As for the three-meter wide and three-meter high square door in front, Hill had already prepared a side-sliding Mithril Gate, which could be pushed and pulled by the mithril golems he had practiced with.

The added Mithril was a bit too much for use outside.

Of course, he would apply a Magic Gate capable of identifying friend from foe outside, which would be the usual defense method.

In case of trouble, the Mithril Gate could be closed from top to bottom for complete defense.

Only this way could it ensure no magic would nullify this door’s defense. Hill suddenly felt that his grandpa Haiweirsen made sense. When going out, it’s better to be fully prepared; there’s plenty of room.

He hadn’t originally intended to bring the Mithril plates used to block the wind on the house.

Arriving at the designated Central Chamber, it was actually where Pulvey originally hid his skull.

The densely entangled skull was impenetrable. Besides Pulvey’s soul, nothing else could enter.

Hill curiously felt it with his hand. It didn’t seem empty inside! But Pulvey’s soul orb indeed could hide here, and he could also bring in the small Array Hill had prepared beforehand.

Hill suddenly noticed Pulvey’s wary little eyes and almost laughed in exasperation: ”Why are you looking at me like that? How could I possibly want to tamper here!”

Pulvey circled inside the orb before firmly saying, ”Your curiosity is so strong; I don’t believe you’d want to test how sturdy this place is!

If given a chance, you’d definitely want to open it and see what it’s like inside!

Don’t deny it! Our mental sea is connected! I can feel what you’re thinking!”

Hill couldn’t help but mutter, ”It’s just a thought! It’s not illegal.”

He glanced at the Otherworldly Whale, ”Have you really made up your mind? I don’t know what will happen.”

Pulvey bubbled, ”Even if it fails, it’s nothing. I’m still me! Just a bit silly, which is better than being completely dead.”

He quietly floated in the middle of the soul orb. Though he spoke resolutely, Hill could see Pulvey’s firm confidence.

If his personality weren’t so resilient, the Necromancers of Santarin would have extinguished his Soul Light long ago.

Hill double-checked his preparations and gently placed Pulvey’s soul orb into the Crystal Ball Array’s core.

A gentle white light immediately began to shine as Pulvey activated the core.

Hill nervously watched the Crystal Ball. This was the most critical step. To keep a soul awake and become a Magic Tower Tower Spirit wasn’t easy.

The impact of magical power was enough to turn a fragile soul into an idiot instantly.

After a few minutes, the white light turned into a pale blue.

That was the color of the Otherworldly Whale’s soul.

Hill couldn’t help but smile, they succeeded.

Pulvey, with the Crystal Ball assimilated by his soul, leaped forward, directly entering the white bones ahead.

On the white bones, a rainbow of light immediately shimmered, and countless magic patterns spread from there, connecting all the fish bones.

The glow shimmered for a long time. Hill looked at the sky view from the eyes, and the Silvermoon must have already risen to the zenith.

Pulvey finally appeared in front of him again.

But this time, it was not in the small illusory form. Pulvey, floating in a wave, had become as large as two books.

”Welcome back, Pulvey,” Hill said with a smile.

The blue little whale tilted its head, looking at Hill, ”Pulvey Ship~ Reporting to you! My master~”
