Chapter 513: Chapter 513: The Tianyu Royal Family’s Ambition (Part 3)

An elder of the imperial family helped the Tianyu Empress up and said, ”The Empress is right. Luo Qingtong has already developed a rebellious streak! She once came to our Tianyu Imperial Family to call off the engagement, and now with the identity of Evil Doctor Ghost Eyes, it’s even less likely she’ll regard us in her eyes!”

That elder said with a cold snort, ”Since she has an engagement with our Imperial Family, she is ours in life and ours in death! This marriage must be carried through to the end!”

”Not only that, everything about her, including everything she has provided to the Luo Family, shall also belong to our Imperial Family!”

”Precisely.” Another elder’s eyes glinted with greed as he spoke, ”The status of Evil Doctor Ghost Eyes is no small matter. Now that we have become enemies, there is even less reason to let her go! Fortunately, no one else knows of her identity at the moment, not even the Black Domain and other major forces of the Holy Dynasty are aware.”

”Luo Qingtong has hidden it so well, which has become a boon for our Imperial Family, and a great opportunity for our Tianyu Empire!”

”If we can control her, it will be easy for our Empire to leap into becoming a force of the Holy Dynasty, and to be promoted to the rank of Commandery!”

”We might even achieve an even higher status!”

”Keep in mind, she is an Alchemist! And Luo Qingtong’s medical skill, I fear, has surpassed her mother’s and has become even more profound!”

The group of imperial elders spoke in cold voices, having already treated Luo Qingtong as if she were a fish on the chopping board, ready to be cut at their will.

In the midst of everyone’s discussion, Emperor Tianyu’s chaotic thoughts gradually regained clarity.

”According to what my uncles and elders suggest, is to take total control of Luo Qingtong?” He looked at the people around him and asked in a slow voice.

”Exactly! This time, it is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us! No one else knows of her identity except for us who have seen through it. Your Majesty, as the saying goes, when heaven wants to grant a man a gift, it is necessary to take it, or else suffer the chaos it brings!

”The fact that Luo Qingtong’s identity was uncovered by us at this moment is an opportunity that heaven has presented to our Imperial Family!” An elder of the imperial family laughed heartily.

”That’s right. No one knows her identity, which is convenient for us to take action,” another imperial elder said as he looked towards Emperor Tianyu.

”Otherwise, with the identity of Evil Doctor Ghost Eyes, once Luo Qingtong decides not to hide anymore, it would spell disaster for our Tianyu Imperial Family!”

What does it mean to be an Alchemist coveted by all the major forces of the Black Domain and Holy Dynasty?

It implies that Luo Qingtong could possibly utter a single word that would be sufficient to annihilate the Tianyu Imperial Family.

There’s a saying, ’An innocent man is guilty of possessing a gem’!

Luo Qingtong currently does not want to become an object of contention and covetous glances, hence she is desperately hiding her identity.

But what if one day she no longer wishes to hide?

Then, with the medical skills and strength she possesses, our Tianyu Imperial Family would be completely powerless to compete.

Not to mention anything else, the existence of the Black Domain alone would be sufficient to erase our Tianyu Imperial Family from the map of Zhenyan Continent.

And the Daqin Saint Institute wouldn’t even inquire about it!

How cruel is this fact?

It also made Emperor Tianyu realize that apart from controlling Luo Qingtong, they had no other path to take!

From the beginning, their engagement with Luo Qingtong was a death knot!

Unless they now choose to abandon the engagement with Luo Qingtong and be willing to bow down and make amends for the wrongs they have done to the Luo family and Luo Qingtong over the years!

But even then, they might not obtain Luo Qingtong’s complete forgiveness!

Moreover, how could that possibly compare to the freedom of having Luo Qingtong under their control?

That should be where the glory of their Imperial Family lies!

”Very well.” Emperor Tianyu nodded slowly.

”I will immediately prepare to deploy the troops to Dongli!”
