Chapter 149: Three Maids and a Duke

Three Maids and a Duke

The sun hung low over Moonspire, its golden-orange glow washing across the sprawling palace like a soft blessing from the heavens. The tall spires of the Inner Court shimmered with the last rays of day, casting long shadows over the land. As the light dipped further, it spilled over the marble walls of the Outer Palace, where an exquisite mansion rose proudly—a symbol of quiet might and refined luxury.

This magnificent mansion, the property of no one less than Duke Leon Moonwalker, was a work of refined architecture. Constructed from pale moonstone and veined obsidian, the mansion softly glowed beneath the orange tint, its expansive balconies draped with crawling vines, and its black-gold tiles reflecting like a mirror to the sun. Their façade displayed tall, arched windows gleaming with silver trim, and thick rose bushes planted up the marble steps like a royal guard of their own.

Outside the grand gates, soldiers moved in measured patrols, their steps calm, precise. Their armor caught the dying light—some gleamed in polished silver, others stood out in matte black, trimmed with gold. The contrast was striking. The silver-clad guards belonged to House Moonwalker, loyal and elite. The black-armored men, silent and statuesque, bore the sigil of the royal capital’s elite guard—placed here by king’s decree.

Then, under the warm wash of the orange twilight, a figure stepped onto the estate grounds.

The guards turned, alerted by the sound of footsteps. Their posture straightened as their eyes fixed upon the man walking toward them with an unhurried grace.

His shoulder-length black hair caught the breeze, flowing just enough to expose one golden eye beneath. Draped in a black robe lined with golden embroidery—subtle but regal—he moved with ease, the kind only someone used to both danger and command could afford.

”Greetings, Lord Leon,” one of the guards murmured with quiet reverence, bowing his head low as the duke passed.

The others followed in silent unison, their helms dipping one after another in a synchronized show of respect—first their gaze, then their heads, bowing low as the soft rustle of armor filled the air.

Leon gave a faint nod in return, a small smile tugging at his lips. He walked on without pause, the late sunlight catching the golden accents of his robe as he moved through the line of bowed soldiers, as if the world itself parted in his wake.

Leon merely offered them a small smile and a nod, walked on without pause. ”Carry on,” he said, voice soft, almost lazy, but his presence carried weight. The late sunlight catching the golden accents of his robe as he moved through the line of bowed soldiers, as if like a breeze slipping between trees, a shadow of grace and authority.

He reached the front entrance of the mansion, where a broad, imposing figure stood just off to the side with a bow.

”Black,” Leon called, slowing his steps as he reached the broad, armored figure standing by the gate. ”Have Rias and the others come back?”

The man straightened immediately. While his eyes were obscured behind the visor of a steel-plated helmet, the deep voice that replied was firm and polite.

”Not yet, my lord. Lady Rias and the others have not come back to the mansion.”

Leon hummed, contemplative. Still preoccupied with the princess, it seems, he thought to himself, his golden eyes glancing toward the waning sunlight.

Then, turning fractionally, he gave the man a nod. ”Very well,” he said by way of farewell.

He continued walking towards the big double doors of the mansion, his robes billowing softly in the amber wind.

The cool interior of the mansion greeted him like an old friend. The corridor was lit with floating crystals, casting soft shadows along the lavender-scented walls. He passed through the corridor into the main hall—and paused, his golden eyes widening ever so slightly.

The soft scent of roses filled the air, drifting from freshly cut blooms placed around the room. Warm candlelight flickered from the chandelier above, mirrored by smaller crystal lamps that bathed the space in golden glow.

But that wasn’t what caught Leon’s attention.

In the living room ahead, three maids were at work—or so it appeared.

Next to one of a collapsible ladder stood a beautiful woman with black, long hair hanging loose down the back of her. Her fitted maid uniform hugged her slender yet curvy figure, highlighting her full bust and wide hips. She stood on tiptoe, hand in hand as she reached up to retie the curtains on the high windows. Her name he recalls is— Mona.

On the other side of her, another maid balanced on a similar ladder. Her black hair was tied in a neat ponytail that swayed as she moved. Her uniform hugged her form tightly, emphasizing her large bosom and a waist that curved enticingly into strong, toned thighs and juicy ass. Her name escaped Leon’s lips in a whisper—Lena.

He blinked, his gaze drifting lower. As both women arched upward to reach the fabric, their skirts shifted—rising just enough to reveal a teasing glimpse of their thigh lines and the soft outline of their ass curves.

Ever since he arrived in this world, there was one thing Leon still hadn’t quite understood:

Why are all maid outfits designed like this? he mused with a silent chuckle.

It was almost comical at this point. Across every place he goes —especially his own—not a single maid seemed to favor modesty.

Short skirts. Tight corsets. Stockings clinging like a second skin. It wasn’t a coincidence.

No, it felt like a universal conspiracy... one stitched in lace, silk, and sinful hem lengths.

Still, something else pulled his gaze away.

Closer to the center of the living room, a third maid was perched half-on, half-off the coffee table, elbows resting on the surface as she leaned forward to give instructions. Her knees were planted on the plush carpet, and her back was turned to him—completely unaware of his arrival.

Her short bob-cut black hair bobbed slightly as she wiggled and shifted, instructing the other two. Her skirt had ridden up just enough to reveal her black lace panties beneath an incredibly plump, round backside. The way her hips moved naturally as she gave instructions made her ass jiggle ever so slightly, like a forbidden fruit swaying in temptation.

Leon’s thoughts went still.

What the hell is she doing sitting like that? he wondered, jaw slack for half a second before he caught himself. His golden eyes remained locked—unwillingly, traitorously fixated.

If she keeps shaking that thing, I swear... A sudden desire flashed through him, primal and maddening—to spank and play with that juicy ass until it turned red.

He shook his head, took a deep breath, and finally managed to move again.

No one had noticed his presence—not Mona or Lena, both too focused on their precarious balancing act. Nor Rui, whose peachy ass still pointed at him like it had its own gravitational pull.

Leon cleared his throat sharply.

”Ahem—”

The sound cut through the air like a spell-breaking charm.

All three maids froze.

Three heads turned in perfect synchronization toward the doorway—only to find Leon standing there, leaning against the frame, an amused, wary smile playing on his lips.

”Ah. Rui,” he drawled, golden eyes glinting with mirth. ”Would you mind adjusting your skirt? Not that I didn’t enjoy the view—but if I stare much longer, I might lose control of myself. ”And you know then—”

He let the words hang in the air, unfinished, his teasing smile doing the rest.

The three maids blinked, clearly stunned by his sudden appearance. His unexpected words left them frozen, caught somewhere between surprise and confusion.

For a moment, no one moved.

Then the silence shattered with a high-pitched yelp of Rui.

”Kyahh!!” Rui scrambled up from the table like a startled kitten, yanking her short skirt down frantically until it nearly reached her knees. Her face turned beet red as she stammered, ”L-Lord... Y-you... When did y-you come?!”

Leon couldn’t help it—he chuckled softly, a teasing lilt in his voice. ”Just now. And I must say... you ladies put on quite the show for me.”

He shifted his gaze to Lena and Mona—just in time to catch their wide-eyed shock shift into a panicked blush. Caught off guard by Rui’s sudden yelp—and perhaps more so by Leon’s comment—they wobbled unsteadily on their ladders, arms flailing for balance.

”Ahh—!”

”Oh no—!”

Their feet slipped from the narrow rungs in perfect sync—two startled yelps, skirts fluttering, arms flailing as gravity pulled Mona and Lena toward the unforgiving marble floor.

But the impact never came.
