Supreme Devouring God

Chapter 128: Chapter 128: Victory!

”Agreed?”

Seeing Qin Chen’s acceptance, many others were surprised, their faces full of astonishment.

But even more people sighed, their faces filled with regret.

”Hou Yan is really lucky.”

Some couldn’t help but say as if Hou Yan had already won.

The 500-man squad, however, looked at Qin Chen meaningfully.

They had seen Qin Chen’s strength, especially Xiaao Zhan, whose face was still bare to this moment.

However, they didn’t know how strong Qin Chen’s true power was.

So, they couldn’t be certain whether he could defeat Hou Yan at this moment.

”How about this, for this betting match, how about we bet two thousand points each?”

Hou Yan burst into a smile upon hearing Qin Chen’s agreement.

”Two thousand points?”

”That’s a huge bet!”

”Hou Yan is betting with the resolution to win for sure.”

Two thousand points was indeed not a small sum.

”I would like to, unfortunately, I only have a thousand points on hand.”

”How about this, if I lose, I’ll owe you a thousand points.”

When he heard two thousand points, Qin Chen was immediately tempted.

Two thousand points was equivalent to a bucket of Thunder Liquid, equivalent to two Elemental Crystals.

”Owe a thousand points?”

Hou Yan frowned, clearly not expecting Qin Chen to play like this.

”Has he gone mad? He only has a thousand points, yet he insists on betting two thousand?”

”I don’t understand what he’s thinking.”

The bystanders were all speechless.

Even people like Xiaao Zhan were very puzzled.

”Owing a thousand points is fine.”

Hou Yan hesitated for a moment and then nodded.

Even though he would only receive a thousand points if he won, after all, Qin Chen said this in front of so many people; the owed thousand points could be collected from him sooner or later.

”So, this points betting match is established.”

Qin Chen said with a smile.

”Idiot!”

Seeing Qin Chen about to lose two thousand points and still smiling so happily, the others were speechless, not knowing what Qin Chen was thinking.

”Of course, it’s settled.”

Hou Yan was inwardly overjoyed, already rubbing his hands together in anticipation.

”Take this punch!”

Following that, Hou Yan didn’t hesitate and directly launched a punch at Qin Chen.

Hou Yan’s Yuan Condensation First Layer cultivation burst forth in an instant.

Seeing Hou Yan punch, Qin Chen didn’t hesitate either and directly punched towards Hou Yan’s fist.

”Has he gone mad?”

”Fighting Hou Yan with fists? Hou Yan is a Fist Cultivator!”

”Yes, although Hou Yan isn’t using Fist Intent right now, his fists are still his strongest asset.”

Seeing Qin Chen actually going fist-to-fist with Hou Yan, everyone else was stunned.

A hint of a cold smirk played on the corners of Hou Yan’s mouth.

The Martial Intent he had grasped was Fist Intent, but he was not using it now because he felt he didn’t need to use Martial Intent to deal with Qin Chen.

Just as Qin Chen’s fist was about to collide with Hou Yan’s, a flash of silver light suddenly appeared on Qin Chen’s right fist.

Boom!

A muffled sound echoed.

At the same time, Hou Yan’s body staggered back several steps.

Then, a cry of agony burst forth.

”Argh!”

Hou Yan clutched his own fist.

Everyone also turned to look.

At that moment, they saw Hou Yan’s fist, which had collided with Qin Chen’s, was already a bloody, mangled mess.

”What?”

Seeing this scene, those who had wanted to see Qin Chen’s embarrassment were instantly taken aback.

With this exchange of punches, was Qin Chen actually coming out on top?

And to top it off, he had even smashed Hou Yan’s fist until it bled?

Leaving aside the fact that Hou Yan was an expert who specialized in using fists, just considering Hou Yan’s cultivation alone—he was at Yuan Condensation First Layer.

However, Qin Chen wasn’t the least bit surprised in his heart.

Although his cultivation was at Body Refining Eighth Layer, his physical body power had long surpassed that of ordinary Body Refining Ninth Layer martial artists.

Adding to that the Divine Demon Silver Skin, it was natural that Hou Yan couldn’t withstand his punch.

”Could he be a Fist Cultivator like Hou Yan?” someone questioned doubtfully.

”Look at his skin!”

Suddenly, someone caught a clue and shouted out.

Everyone hurriedly turned to look.

It was then they realized that Qin Chen’s right arm had already turned silver, and it was emitting a luster like that of steel.

”He’s a Body Refining Martial Artist!”

”No wonder!”

With this realization, some understood.

At this moment, Hou Yan’s face was dark with anger. Clearly, he was not pleased with being embarrassed by Qin Chen just now.

”I didn’t expect you to be a Body Refining Martial Artist. I underestimated you. But I didn’t use my Fist Intent just now. Let’s see if you dare to match punches with me with my next punch!”

Hou Yan’s gaze was chilling, and the next moment, his fist suddenly emanated an incredibly scorching aura.

It was the Fierce Sun Fist Intent!

And judging from the look of it, Hou Yan’s Fierce Sun Fist Intent had seemingly reached the Level 1 Martial Intent Minor Achievement Realm.

It was no wonder this place was the Blood Continent Islands—a land where strong figures emerged ceaselessly. Here, everyone seemed to have comprehended Martial Intent, and they were even at the Minor Achievement Realm.

”Hou Yan has used the Fierce Sun Fist Intent!”

”Let’s see how he blocks this time!”

Facing Hou Yan’s punch that was blasting towards him, Qin Chen didn’t use his fist like before.

Swish!

The Bloodthirsty Demon Blade was instantly unsheathed by Qin Chen.

Earlier, Hou Yan hadn’t used his Fist Intent, so Qin Chen could match his punches. But now that Hou Yan had employed his Fist Intent, to exchange blows with fists would clearly be suicidal.

”He’s actually not a Fist Cultivator!”

Seeing Qin Chen drawing the Bloodthirsty Demon Blade, some people were instantly surprised.

Obviously, with Qin Chen matching Hou Yan punch for punch and even putting him at a disadvantage, they had assumed Qin Chen was a Fist Cultivator.

But as it turned out, the reality was quite to the contrary.

Qin Chen was a Sword Cultivator!

Swish!

Qin Chen’s slice was blocked by Hou Yan’s fist.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

Hou Yan had neutralized the first strike. Without any hesitation, Qin Chen swiftly followed with a second, third, and fourth slash.

”What?”

Originally thinking that blocking Qin Chen’s blade would be the end of it, Hou Yan had not expected Qin Chen’s true killing move to follow.

A succession of slashes immediately put Hou Yan in an extremely awkward position.

Although Hou Yan’s cultivation level was the same as Su Teng’s, it was obvious that his strength was greater, at least his reaction speed was much faster.

Otherwise, Qin Chen would have needed only two slashes to end Hou Yan’s life.

But even with Hou Yan’s quick reactions, he was still not faster than Qin Chen’s blade.

Qin Chen’s blade was truly fast!

Unspeakably fast!

Crack!

Everyone heard only a faint sound, then they could see that Hou Yan’s chest had been cut open by a slash from Qin Chen’s Bloodthirsty Demon Blade.

A little bit higher and Hou Yan’s neck would have been severed.

Clearly, Qin Chen had held back with this strike, otherwise, that last slash would have been enough to slay Hou Yan.

Gulp!

Hou Yan swallowed.

Looking at Qin Chen, his eyes were filled with indescribable shock.
