Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1083: Suspicion

For the next nine days, Nathan was occupied with all kinds of matters. He first had to visit his own disciple, Iris, at Frexia Academy.

Then, there was also the matter of domain development, which would require a lot of materials later.

Flora was accustomed to this type of work, so she was the one leading the project. Selena had a talent for management, so she helped while gaining some experience in that field.

Sera chose to return to the Holy Kingdom for the time being. Her main reason was the duality. Because this was a path no one had ever walked before, she wanted to get some advice from her teacher.

After losing, Alavenya took her time to develop her new abilities, which would grant her the ability to keep up with Nathan in the future.

On the other hand, Evelyn brought Bella and Revon to the front line, hunting down the elite class alien.

With the people getting busy, time flew by so quickly. Without realizing it, nine days had passed.

Nathan had imposed two deadlines on Evelyn. The first one was nine days. She had to return and accompany him to meet Rena for the ship inspection. The second one was three weeks. This was the time they scheduled to leave the continent.

Now that nine days had passed, Nathan asked Evelyn to accompany him to the Ivorial family.

”This is an honor. To think that the Magic Empress will be visiting my humble home.” Rena lowered her head politely, greeting Evelyn.

”Hmm?” Nathan and Evelyn exchanged looks. Although they had stopped hiding, Evelyn didn’t proactively reveal her existence. The only one who knew that fact other than their group was Commander Mattheus.

”How did you know...” Nathan blinked his eyes a few times.

”Isn’t it weird if I don’t know?” Rena smiled wryly.

Nathan didn’t say anything, as if wanting to know the source of her information.

Rena chuckled first before extending her hand inside, as if telling them they should enter first.

Ultimately, the two followed her as Rena revealed, ”Getting information about you is hard. However, this has been brought up in the Liaystian Kingdom’s court.

”Since you are supposed to visit me today, His Majesty also wants me to pass on a message for you, Nathan.

”Right now, the Liaystian Kingdom suspects you of having an innate ability.”

”Innate ability? What is that?” Nathan’s heart skipped a beat when he heard the suspicion. He wondered where that had come from.

”You don’t have to play dumb. Although you don’t openly use it, a lot of traces have been left behind.” Rena chuckled. ”Besides, you are growing at a speed no one has seen before. That’s just like the Magic Empress when she was young.

”However, unlike the Magic Empress, the people around you also grew at such speed. If we add your beasts, it’s weird if we don’t arrive at that conclusion.”

”...” Nathan didn’t want to reveal it, but it looked like it was useless to hide it any longer. The king must have expected it to a certain degree.

At the same time, Evelyn came closer to him before whispering, ”Sorry... this might be my fault. I proudly declared my new name to that person... They might reach that conclusion because of that reason.”

’Seriously?’ Nathan was speechless. ’Does this mean the information won’t leak if that commander didn’t reach the battlefield? No, it would have been found out.

’After all, Evelyn and the others made their appearance in the city. Vice Commander Roodie should have reported it, and sooner or later, they would find out about it.

’In the end, changing her family name was my choice. If it were in the past, I might be in huge trouble, but I guess it’s fine now.

’Evelyn and Dragon King will definitely support me directly. Sage Leyfon might do the same because of Selena. Besides, we’re about to leave for another continent soon.

’By the time we return, I’m expecting my strength to reach the arcane level. At that time, I might not be strong enough to challenge a world class summoner, but I can survive to a certain extent.

’Besides, Duke Coline, Duke Sullivan, and the Pope won’t do anything to me because of our relationship.

’In the Muivell Kingdom alone, it means there will only be three world class summoners that can harm me. The only problem is the Liaystian Kingdom.

’But if the Liaystian Kingdom is moving directly to capture me or take advantage of me, I have enough strength to protect myself.

’Last but not least, I still remember the message my master passed on to me from Elysion Aquamoon. If I were in trouble, I could go to him.

’The Pope directly told me that if I were to grow, the conflict would happen whether I like it or not. I will be isolated. In that case, there’s no problem if I join hands with Elysion Aquamoon. Although I don’t know the price, even the Liaystian Kingdom won’t dare to make a move.’

Nathan deemed it useless to hide it any longer. It was better to get some information from her instead.

”As expected of you, Aunt. I can’t really hide things for so long.” Nathan sighed. ”So, is the king planning to do anything?”

Just hearing Nathan call her ’Aunt’ alone was enough for her. As long as he recognized her as family, there shouldn’t be any harm. Besides, Nathan called the ruler ’king’ instead of ’His Majesty,’ showing his intention of staying away from politics.

”Nothing. His Majesty doesn’t plan to do anything to you, but I guess he’s pretty happy. Everyone knows the value of innate ability. And his daughter is your wife, do you think he won’t be happy? Except you’re using this as a reason to play around with my nephew...”

”...” Nathan smiled in defeat. ”I love women and admire beauty, but I’d rather not be close to someone if I don’t have the intention to see it through.”

Rena smiled. ”See? There’s no problem then.”

Nathan scratched the back of her head. It looked like she revealed that information as if she knew this would happen.

Evelyn, on the other hand, couldn’t help but ask, ”Sorry, but... What’s with this Magic Empress thing?”
