Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 849: Secret

”Evolve?!” All three girls widened their eyes. Selena couldnʼt help but ask, ”What do you mean by Sasha? Is it something similar to Risa?”

”Not really.” Nathan shook his head.

”What are you talking about? Risa?” Flora tilted her head in confusion.

Selena paused for a moment. Since Nathan had revealed the secret, there was no point in hiding it anymore. She explained, ”Yes, Risa was a countess, right?”

”I did remember that information. Now that I think about it, isnʼt Risa…” Flora gasped.

”Yes. She has been sucking Nathanʼs blood. And right now, she has become a queen.”

Nathan shook his head. ”Well, my blood is not something I understand either. It might also be related to why Iʼm able to have an innate ability. However, thatʼs not it. This contract can break the laws of the world.

”For Elysion Aquamoon, the Innate Ability breaks the law and allows him to become a person with three lifebound familiars. For me, Iʼm able to break the convenient law, such as getting an element or peeking at a familiarʼs hidden status. And by altering this hidden status, Iʼm able to force them to evolve.

”The requirement is basically just ena. As long as I have enough ena, I should be able to evolve them. For example, I can make your spirits become great spirits, Flora. Or maybe I can make your angel or fallen angel get another pair of wings.

”Of course, if you have an item youʼve prepared to upgrade them, it can relieve some burden on the evolution. For example, if a familiar requires three items to evolve while you only have two of them, I can use my contract and ena to exchange the last item. Something like that.”

”…” They were stunned. This was the first time they heard such a terrifying ability. Versatile wasnʼt enough to describe it. Nathan could basically do anything. There might be some restraints, but if he could bypass those, he would practically be invincible. No, he might even change the world.

”This…” Flora was sweating heavily. She understood perfectly why this information shouldnʼt be disclosed to anyone else.

Nathanʼs innate ability was much more useful compared to Elysion Aquamoon. If anyone were to know about this information, they would do their best to get Nathan. They might even control him by using some abilities.

And someone from the royal family definitely understood what Nathan would do the moment her father learned this information.

There was a chance for Nathan to completely let go of all attachments and hide somewhere. When he became strong enough, he would return and destroy the entire kingdom.

Selena, on the other hand, bit her lips. ”I donʼt really want to take advantage of your innate ability!

”From what I can see, itʼs using the ena in your body, right? Itʼs true that you might be able to substitute that ena with the magazines, but I donʼt think itʼs good enough.

”Iʼve noticed that you stopped giving Risa blood for a while and the next thing I realized, Sasha evolved. You… have you told us all the risks involved when using that ability?”

”!!!” The two girls raised their eyebrows.

Nathan nodded. ”I definitely had told you about it. I was just using my blood to substitute the ena back then, which was successful. But Charlotte wanted to make sure there was no hidden risk for such a process.

”As a result, she stopped me from giving my blood for the time being. According to her, as long as I donʼt lose too much blood, it should be fine. In other words, if I want to evolve a familiar, I will have to take a break, like one week per familiar or something.

”This way, my body can replenish the blood naturally. And I need to avoid getting blood transfusions as much as possible so as to avoid possible mutations to my blood. Thatʼs all.

”You donʼt have to think whether you take advantage of my ability or not. I choose you while Iʼm aware of that already. As long as we proceed with caution, there is no risk.”

”But…” Selena wanted to argue, but Nathan simply shook his head.

Sera glanced left and right before saying, ”Are both of you overthinking about it? Itʼs true that his blood can be used, but the basic requirement is ena, right? In that case, why donʼt we just give him ena? No, not him.

”Maybe we can ask for his teacher to allow us to donate ena to a storage, which will be used like the magazines? This way, not only will we not bother him, but he doesnʼt need to waste his time just to gather all that ena from cores.

”Besides, didnʼt we just get so many cores? Why not just use it as an investment to make us stronger? This way, we donʼt need to summon many familiars in the future.”

”…” Selena and Flora had their faces distorted. They looked at Sera as if they had something to say.

Nathan simply gave a thumbs up. ”There you have it. Well, thatʼs all I can say right now. If you want to evolve your familiar, just tell me about it.

”If you get stronger, it will help me as well. I donʼt think the aliens will continue to attack us at this level. They might come with even more aliens and a stronger force, so I want you guys to get as strong as possible.

”And I think itʼs best to become an arcane level summoner before anyone knows about my innate ability. At that level, we should be able to survive somehow, even if a world class summoner comes at us.”

Both Flora and Selena suddenly stood up and grabbed Seraʼs arms before dragging her away.

”W-What are you two doing?”

”Donʼt worry, Nathan. Weʼll make sure this girl doesnʼt reveal the information.” Selena nodded.

”Weʼre sorry. Even though you have just revealed that secret, thereʼs nothing we can do. However, we will make sure this girl, who is most likely to reveal that information, never reveals that secret!” Flora nodded in agreement. ”So, just please excuse us tonight. Weʼll come back tomorrow!”

”What?!” Sera couldnʼt do anything when Selena and Flora dragged her away.

”Ahahaha…” Nathan chuckled while rubbing his cheek, fully aware of how easy it was to fool Sera.

Though, it didnʼt seem they were planning to go away without doing anything. Brunhildʼs voice suddenly echoed from behind the wall.

”Eh? What? Why am I being summoned? Mistress? No, Master?” Brunhild panicked.

Nathan could only smile wryly, knowing what they were up to.
