The room was silent—silent in that heavy, intimate way that only exists when three people share the same bed and none of them know exactly how to feel about it.

Aria’s breathing was soft, tranquil, completely at ease. The little mage slept with her head resting on Damon’s chest as if it were the most natural place in the world. One of her hands was loose, resting on his ribcage, and Damon could feel the warmth of her fingertips following the rhythm of her own breathing. She seemed... happy. Safe.

Ester, on the other hand, was the complete opposite.

She lay on her back, her body tense, her posture too rigid for someone who should be sleeping. Her long black hair fell like a veil over the pillow, hiding part of her face, but not enough to hide the slight blush on her ears.

Damon opened his eyes slowly. He knew how to recognize when someone was awake—the rhythm of their breathing, the slight movement of their shoulders, the stiffness of their fingers.

Ester wasn’t asleep. Not even close.

”You can leave if you want,” he murmured, keeping his voice low so as not to wake Aria. ”You don’t have to stay if it makes you uncomfortable.”

Ester’s shoulders shifted slightly. She didn’t turn her face away, only replied curtly, but with a strangely muffled voice:

”I accepted this. So I’ll stay.”

Damon sighed briefly.

”You don’t have to force yourself for me.” He said this carefully, knowing that Ester interpreted benevolence as an insult. ”I know you’re cold for your reasons. I respect that. I’ll never force you to do anything.”

She remained silent. A silence that didn’t seem distant—it seemed embarrassed.

”I said... that I accepted,” she repeated, more quietly. This time there was almost a tremor in her voice.

Damon ran his fingers through Aria’s hair to brush it away from her face, observing the peaceful way she slept. Aria’s breathing was light, soft, almost childlike. The contrast between the two girls was so stark that he almost smiled—almost.

He glanced at the nape of Esther’s neck.

She was too tense. It wasn’t discomfort—it was... restraint.

And that, coming from her, was strange, to say the least.

”Ester,” he called, whispering.

She answered without turning:

”What is it?”

”Are you alright?”

The question hung in the air. Too long. Too sincere.

Ester stiffened even more, as if the simple word ”alright” had physically affected her.

”Yes...” she murmured, almost inaudibly.

Damon frowned. That wasn’t a ”yes” from someone who was alright.

And without thinking much—perhaps because it was late, perhaps because Aria was breathing so softly that it made everything more... gentle—he reached out and touched Esther’s shoulder.

She froze.

But he didn’t pull away.

It was like touching a piece of hot metal: firm, rigid, but full of something burning inside.

Gently, Damon pulled her toward him. Not forcefully—just enough to invite her. Enough for her to understand he was there.

Esther hesitated.

She really hesitated.

But then, slowly, she turned her body... and her face.

And it was at that moment that he saw.

Her eyes were wide, shining in the darkness with an unease that wasn’t fear, nor coldness—it was pure shame. That kind of shame that only exists when someone doesn’t know how to deal with a new feeling.

Esther turned her face quickly, averting her eyes as if looking directly at him was dangerous.

”I...” she whispered, almost choking on the word. ”I just... I’m not used to it.”

Damon understood everything at once.

She wasn’t cold.

She was shy. ”Dying of embarrassment.”

And for someone like Esther, admitting that was probably the equivalent of confessing to a capital crime.

He kept his voice soft:

”Is that all?”

”Shut up,” she retorted, but so weakly, so without conviction, that it sounded more like a request than an insult.

Aria murmured something in her sleep, snuggling closer to Damon’s chest, and her hand brushed against Esther’s arm unintentionally.

Esther blushed even more. Damon could see the blush rising up her neck to the tips of her ears.

She really didn’t know where to put her face.

”You don’t need to act like this is some kind of punishment,” he said softly, trying not to laugh at the situation. ”Just relax. I’m here. Aria is too. None of this is an obligation.”

Ester gripped the sheet tightly, trying to maintain some semblance of composure.

”I don’t know... how to do this,” she finally confessed. ”Lying... like this. Together. I don’t...” Her voice faltered. She took a deep breath. ”I’m not good at this.”

Damon brought his face closer to hers, but slowly, so as not to startle her. Aria continued sleeping, completely lost in her own world.

”Nobody’s good at this the first time,” he said. ”It just happens.”

Ester swallowed hard.

Her eyes—when they finally met his—looked like those of someone who had just been ripped from a comfort zone she’d maintained for years.

”Damon...” she murmured, as if saying his name was too dangerous. ”I just... don’t want to mess it up.”

He smiled, but a small, gentle smile.

”You can’t mess it up.”

She didn’t answer.

Damon pulled her closer, settling her between his body and Aria’s. Ester stiffened for a few seconds, her whole body almost vibrating with tension.

But, little by little, very slowly, she relaxed.

First her shoulders.

Then her breathing.

Then her entire posture, as if their warmth was finally melting that layer of ice she herself had placed around her heart.

Ester rested her forehead on his shoulder.

Damon sensed the exact moment she gave up pretending everything was alright.

Because she didn’t let out a normal sigh.

It was a sigh... vulnerable.

Something she certainly wouldn’t let anyone hear under normal circumstances.

He ran his hand through her hair—slowly, asking without words if that was allowed.

Ester didn’t move away.

In fact... she moved a little closer.

The room fell silent again, but a different kind of silence now: soft, warm, filled with something none of the three had named.

Aria slept peacefully.

Ester hid her face as if the darkness were her only protection.

And Damon... Damon simply stood there, between the two, realizing—perhaps for the first time—that each of them meant something completely different.

And that being between them, at that moment, wasn’t a burden.

It was a responsibility.

One that he, strangely, wasn’t afraid to carry.

”So...” Damon murmured, almost joking, almost serious. ”Do you still want to stay?”

Ester answered without hesitation.

”Yes.”

But she didn’t lift her face.

She didn’t want him to see how much it all made her blush.

The morning light slowly entered the room, filtered through the heavy curtains. It was a soft, almost golden glow that caressed the room as if trying not to wake anyone prematurely.

Damon awoke slowly, with that comfortable slowness that only comes after a long... and strangely peaceful night.

But something was wrong.

Or rather... something different.

There was a warm pressure against his groin.

For a moment he didn’t even open his eyes—he only registered the sensation, confused, still somewhat trapped in the torpor of sleep. The touch was light, as if someone were leaning on him without realizing it.

He frowned, finally truly waking up.

And then he opened his eyes.

Ester was the first thing he saw, although previously she had been quite far away, now she was very close, embracing his body... the problem was...

”G-o-m-orth,” Aria said with... Damon’s penis in her mouth.

The golden light of dawn seemed almost to merge with the heat emanating from Aria’s body, now pressed against Damon with an urgency that contrasted sharply with the serenity of the previous moment. Her face was close to his, her lips closed around his member, as if trying to suck it dry. Aria’s breathing was rapid, hot, and a sound that seemed to mix desire and determination—as if the world had stopped and the only movement was that of her mouth, firmly wrapped around Damon’s penis.

”Don’t wake Ester,” Aria whispered, though the command was more of a whisper than a warning. Her teeth grazed his skin, as if sketching a map of emotions Damon didn’t yet understand. ”I want her to stay asleep. Just... you and me.”

Damon felt Aria’s body move against his, a pressure that wasn’t just physical, but almost an invitation to dive deeper. Her hands were on his hips, firm, as if she were holding him with the certainty of someone who already mastered the game. Aria’s tongue slid with a precision that made him dizzy, as if each touch were an attempt to dismantle the barrier he himself had built around his heart.

Ester, for her part, remained lying on the edge of the bed, her face still turned to the wall, as if the weight of the moment kept her trapped in a sleep that wasn’t real. The sound of Aria’s saliva against Damon’s skin was almost a purr, a melody that seemed to say: ”You don’t need to be cold with me. Just let me be strong.”

Damon closed his eyes for a moment, his whole body almost in shock. The bed seemed to vibrate with the intensity of what was happening, as if the very air were filled with a kind of energy that wasn’t just sexual. He heard the sound of Aria moaning softly, almost inaudibly, and felt his heart race. His cock was almost burning, every inch enveloped by her mouth, but there was no rush. Aria seemed to savor every second, as if exploring something she had never experienced before.

”You’re... so...” Damon began, his voice hoarse, but Aria didn’t let him finish. Her tongue slid faster, as if trying to cheat time, and her body pressed against his, a wave of heat that wasn’t just physical.

”Don’t say anything,” she replied, almost whispering, but with a tone that seemed full of certainty. ”Just... breathe.”

The world around them seemed to disappear. Aria was a wave carrying him, and Damon, for a moment, didn’t resist. Her hand slid over his body, caressing his abdomen, his hips, as if marking territory.

”You left me... horny,” she murmured, almost like a secret. ”I thought we were going to do something tonight... but you chose to bring Ester over so we could sleep... just sleep...”

Damon felt Aria’s head move, as if searching for a more comfortable angle, and the air between them grew thicker. The sound of her sigh, warm and close, seemed to echo in the room, mingling with the silence Ester maintained.

”Ester...” Damon whispered, almost as if asking permission. ”She’s...”

”She’s sleeping” Aria interrupted, with a smile that wasn’t one of complicity, but of a certain... possessiveness. ”And she’ll sleep until I’m finished.”

Damon didn’t answer. His mind was occupied with the sensation of Aria wrapped around him, and with the weight of what was happening. The room, once silent and intimate, now seemed filled with a kind of music that wasn’t just the sound of the outside world, but the rhythm of something he couldn’t define.

”Calm down...” he asked, more quietly, as if trying not to disturb the moment.

Aria didn’t move. Her mouth closed around his member, as if trying to hide what he was saying.

”She won’t wake up,” Aria said, in an almost prophetic tone. ”Not now.”

What Damon didn’t know was that even if Ester woke up, there would be no going back. Aria was like a storm that couldn’t be stopped, and for a moment, he didn’t feel capable of resisting.

”So...” he murmured, almost like a whisper of surrender. ”I still want you.”

Aria smiled, but didn’t answer. The room was now filled with the sound of her sighs, the movement of her tongue, and the warmth that enveloped the trio in an embrace that wasn’t just physical.

”You don’t have to say it,” she whispered, almost as if trusting him. ”Just... let me finish.”
