Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 768 Treasury Elder

As Crimson Infernoʼs crushed head flew off its shoulders, Kyle saw the image of a wall breaking.

He had done it!

The wall had seemed unbreakable, but he had tried anyway. His opponent had been physically stronger than him. His opponent had Laws that were far more powerful than his. His opponent had been a level higher than him.

In all metrics, Kyle had been inferior. The only thing that had given him the tiniest chance was his Imposing Law, but it had only increased his power enough to rival the physical power of his opponent.

It hadnʼt been enough to close the gap between levels, and it hadnʼt been enough to deal with the opponentʼs Complex Center Law.

Momentum! With Momentum, Kyle could close the gap somewhat, but it would only have a limited effect.

In the end, it still seemed like a fight that Kyle would lose.

The wall had seemed unbreakable.

Yet, despite the desperate and hopeless situation, Kyle had tried.

He had hit it, again and again.

And then, the first crack had appeared.

It wasnʼt unbreakable!

So, he kept hitting it.

He just kept going.

He just kept trying.

Then, another crack appeared.

More effort!

Give everything!

And finally, the wall broke!

He had won!

At that moment, Kyleʼs Momentum grew dramatically.

Yet, the effect it had on the world didnʼt change a lot.

What was happening to Kyleʼs Momentum was a rare occurrence. It was growing, but its effect barely changed.

That was because there was a limit. Someone in a given Realm could only exhibit so much Momentum due to their level of existence.

From an outsiderʼs perspective, Kyleʼs Momentum barely changed. Yet, as soon as Kyle broke through the Wisdom Fire Realm, the change would be momentous.

Right now, Kyle could only use 70% of the Momentum he had accumulated, and he would gain access to the remaining 30% only after becoming a Sage.

Yet, Kyle barely paid attention to the change in his Momentum.

Instead, he closed his eyes, listening to the silence of space.

His surroundings were calm and unmoving.

A feeling of satisfaction, pride, and victory encompassed his entire being.

ʼI survived,ʼ he thought, opening his eyes. ʼMy path doesnʼt end here.ʼ

At that moment, the surroundings suddenly became quite loud as a mountain of random objects appeared around Crimson Infernoʼs crushed head.

These were all the things Crimson Inferno had kept in his Soul Space.

ʼOh, right. Loot, ʼ Kyle thought as he looked at the mountain of miscellaneous objects.

Kyle scratched the back of his head. ʼUsually, I donʼt really care a lot about what Seekers drop when they die. I kinda already have everything I need. Although it could also just be that Iʼm simply too rich to care. I mean, I belong to the Array of Stars. Some random Advanced Crushers in the Secondary Sector usually donʼt have a lot of wealth from my point of view.ʼ

Kyle smiled. ʼBut this guy is from the Contrast Empire! Heʼs probably loaded! I think I should actually take a look.ʼ

For the next couple of seconds, Kyle went through Crimson Infernoʼs belongings.

The first thing he noticed was the great number of valuable metals.

As he looked at them, Kyle noticed that the different kinds of metal stuck to each other like they were magnetic.

ʼGravity Metal,ʼ Kyle thought. ʼAll of these materials are Gravity Metals! I mean, I know that this guy has a Metal Affinity, but why does he carry all of this stuff with him? Canʼt he just go to the Contrast Empire to take a look?ʼ

ʼI usually lease all the metals I look at and give the remainder back. Why is this guy carrying them all with him?ʼ

ʼIs it because he didnʼt want to leave the Secondary Sector?ʼ

ʼWait! I forgot something! Dawnlight has one Unique Crusher and about ten Fulfilled Crushers, right? And this guy was the strongest Fulfilled Crusher they had. So, wouldnʼt that make him part of upper management?ʼ

ʼWhat if these metals arenʼt actually from the Contrast Empire but from Dawnlight? Wait a second,ʼ Kyle thought as he looked at Explosive Karmaʼs report of Dawnlight again.

He hadnʼt cared about Crimson Infernoʼs position in Dawnlight previously, but now, he was interested.

ʼCrimson Inferno. Treasury Elder.ʼ

Kyle blinked a couple of times before looking at the materials again.

ʼI thought he would be the Head Elder or Vice-Head. Disciplinary Elder would have also been a fitting position. Yet, he was the Treasury Elder.ʼ

ʼI mean, after thinking about it, I can see why. The standard resources are held in warehouses so that they can easily be exchanged by Disciples and Elders. Top-tier resources are held by the Head personally. However, everything in between is usually in the Treasury Elderʼs Soul Space. If you have that many valuables in your Organization, you probably want a powerful Treasury Elder.ʼ

Kyle smirked. ʼI guess this guy was pretty confident. As far as I know, most Organizations have a policy that the Treasury Elder has to temporarily store the Organizationʼs valuables somewhere else before entering a True Battle for obvious reasons.ʼ

ʼDawnlight was so confident that they literally let this guy enter a True Battle without asking him to store Dawnlightʼs wealth somewhere else.ʼ

ʼI guess, in their minds, this wouldnʼt be a True Battle.ʼ

ʼDonʼt mind if I do!ʼ Kyle thought with a shit-eating grin as he pocketed all the Gravity Metals.

Then, Kyle looked at the other objects.

A bunch of weapons.

Many resources to create Formation Arrays.

Hundreds of Beast Cores from Crusher Beasts.

Thousands of Beast Cores from Primal Beasts.

Energy Stones.

ʼOh my fucking god!ʼ Kyle thought as he saw the Energy Stones. ʼBro! These are Grade Six Energy Stones! Five of them! A single one of those takes a Sage over a thousand years to condense!ʼ

Then, Kyle saw something else.

ʼA Gravity Core, and itʼs even better than the one Warp Space got back then! Not sure if this belonged to him or Dawnlight. I mean, learning more about gravity probably also helps in understanding the Gravity Elements.ʼ

After a couple more seconds, Kyle pocketed almost every piece of loot, leaving six objects.

Five of them were fruits.

As Kyle looked at the five fruits, he scratched his head. ʼI have no idea what these things are. I mean, they probably count as natural treasures, but I have no idea what theyʼre good for.ʼ

Kyle shrugged and put them into his Soul Space before looking at the last item.

ʼYep, not taking this one,ʼ Kyle thought as he looked at the black and white ring.

It looked very similar to the Communicator he had received from the Array of Stars.

Most likely, this was a Communicator from the Contrast Empire.

ʼThereʼs no way I can use this thing, and the Contrast Empire can probably track it. If Iʼm carrying this thing around with me, some Sage will probably come to assassinate me real quick.ʼ

Kyle looked to the side.

The people outside couldnʼt look through the Concealing Array, but Kyle could look outside.

He saw all the people outside looking at the arena with seriousness.

ʼYeah, thereʼs no way theyʼre going to let this go,ʼ Kyle thought as he looked at the mountain of valuables in his Soul Space. ʼAs soon as the arena vanishes, all of Dawnlight will probably rush to this place to kill us.ʼ

ʼGuess we gotta skedaddle.ʼ
