Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 738 Choices

The Head noticed that Kyle was catching up to her and became panicked.

She excelled at manipulating her surroundings.

In a direct one-on-one battle, she lacked a lot of offensive capabilities.

In truth, she was a Medium Crusher.

If the enemy were a New or Minor Crusher, she would be able to kill them easily.

Fighting a Medium Crusher would take a bit of time, but she was also confident that she could take them down.

A Major Crusher would count as a True Battle for her.

Yet, she was chased by an Advanced Crusher.

Her attacks simply wouldnʼt be able to reliably get past their significant defenses.

ʼMy identity is already revealed,ʼ she thought as she summoned a huge object around her.

When Kyle saw the object, his eyes widened.

ʼA fucking spaceship?!ʼ he thought in shock.

Yes, spaceships were a thing. They were just very rare due to how the world worked.

Having a powerful spaceship with powerful Formation Arrays in oneʼs Soul Space would make it very difficult to increase oneʼs Momentum. After all, the person wouldnʼt believe that they were truly in danger since they still had access to their spaceship.

That meant, assuming one wanted to increase oneʼs Momentum in a battle and one wanted to carry a spaceship with them, the spaceship had to be fragile and couldnʼt have powerful weapons.

Another reason why spaceships were so rare was the presence of Teleportation Formation Arrays on nearly every Planet. What was the point of traveling in a spaceship when one could literally just teleport to oneʼs destination?

There was literally only one single reason why someone would carry a spaceship with them.

Fleeing from a battle.

That was the only point of having one.

It was a last resort.

The person would lose all the Momentum they had accumulated in their Realm, but they would get to live another day.

After all, spaceships were fast!

The one the Head had summoned would quickly reach quintuple of Kyleʼs top speed.

Ranged attacks were generally faster than the userʼs speed, but they couldnʼt catch up with something as fast as a spaceship.

As the spaceship materialized around the Head, its Formation Arrays quickly activated, and it shot into the distance.

Kyle was put in front of a choice.

His Law of Hammer could instantly appear in front of the spaceship, destroying it. After all, the spaceship had to be fragile.

Yet, if the Head had another treasure that would allow her to escape, Kyle could be in trouble. Right now, the enemy believed that Kyle was an Advanced Crusher.

However, if he suddenly launched his Imposing Law, and the enemy recognized it for what it was, she would realize that Kyle most likely was a former Legendary Primal, and someone like that had to be a member of a powerful Organization.

It was a bet.

Risk everything to kill her or let her go?

Kyle wanted to risk it.

He was someone who always went all-in.

All or nothing!

Yet, as he thought about activating his Law of Hammer, he realized something.

Kyle stopped advancing and just looked forward.

The spaceship reached insane speeds in almost an instant, and in the blink of an eye, it was gone.

He had let her escape.

After a bit, Kyle just sighed in acceptance.

ʼI wouldʼve loved to go all-in, but…ʼ

He glanced at the primary Planet of Explosive Karma.

ʼIʼm not alone anymore.ʼ

ʼWhile I can make the choice to risk my future, I donʼt want to be the reason why Star Genesis, Manny, and Swamp Dragon have to go back to the Array of Stars as well.ʼ

ʼIf my identity gets exposed, theirs will also get exposed.ʼ

ʼIf I fuck up, they will have to pay the price.ʼ

In the end, Kyle just scratched the back of his head and shrugged.

ʼYeah, well, whatcha gonna do? We didnʼt really lose anything by letting her go.ʼ

Eventually, Kyle turned around and flew back to Explosive Karmaʼs Planet.

When he returned, he saw the three Major Crushers from Sparkling Sky obediently standing in a line.

Their Momentum was currently in the process of falling to rock bottom.

They had lost the fight, and their confidence had been shaken immensely.

”Youngsters have so much money nowadays,” Kyle spoke with a bitter smile. ”She had a spaceship with her, and I couldnʼt catch up.”

”She is from the Contrast Empire, Master,” Star Genesis spoke respectfully. ”She is bound to have many valuable treasures with her.”

”Thank you for assisting us, Master,” Swamp Dragon and Manny said respectfully.

Kyle just nodded with a smile. ”Itʼs my duty to help you achieve your full potential. Thereʼs no need to thank me.”

Then, Kyle looked at the three new Major Crushers.

They had voluntarily signed up for the war, and they had lost.

Since this had been a war, the winning party had a lot of freedom when it came to dealing with them.

Directly killing them would reduce Explosive Karmaʼs Karmic Luck by a bit, but not by much.

Forcing them to work like slaves for a couple of centuries was okay, but anything more, and they would lose Karmic Luck again.

If they simply incorporated them into their ranks, they would gain a bit of Karmic Luck while also gaining new members.

If they let them go, they would gain a lot of Karmic Luck.

”How do you plan to deal with our new members?” Kyle asked Star Genesis with a kind smile.

The three Major Crushers waited nervously.

Their lives were not in their hands anymore.

Star Genesisʼ respectful expression changed into a solemn one as she turned to the three Major Crushers.

”Your Momentum is broken,” she spoke. ”You are still powerful, but your lack of Momentum will make you weak in a battle.”

”You probably think about giving up and becoming Elders. After all, how can you possibly recover from such a setback?”

The Major Crushers didnʼt answer.

”I am going to give you an opportunity to recover almost all of your Momentum,” Star Genesis said. ”At the same time, this will also bring you closer to the Advanced Crusher Realm.”

Then, Star Genesis transmitted a question to each of them.

”How well do you know the other two?”

The Major Crushers looked at each other as they transmitted their answer.

When Star Genesis got her answers, she furrowed her brows.

Two of them were sisters, while the only guy was a colleague of the two sisters.

”I am giving you a couple of choices,” Star Genesis said. ”You are free to choose any of them without negative consequences.”

”One, all three of you fight to the death. Only one person will survive. That person will have a powerful Momentum and will have consumed at least one other Major Crusher.”

”Two, one of the sisters battles to the death with their colleague. If she wins, she may join as part of upper management, while her sister may join as an Elder or Disciple. If she loses, there will be another battle between the second sister and her colleague.”

”Three, all three of you will go through at least three True Battles against powerful beasts. If you survive, you will join as upper management.”

”Four, you will join as Inner Elders.”

”Five, you are free to go.”

”These are your choices. Work on your Momentum right now and become stronger than you have been before the war, decide that your path to power ends, or leave to search for your own destiny.”

”You have 48 hours to decide.”

”Your future is in your hands.”
