Chapter 2730: Proposing A Bath to Clear the Gloom

Rejoining the girls in our bedroom, they were clearly concerned about that phone call I had with Tsubame. And so, I told them at least that there’s nothing to worry about. If anything, I’d find out about it tomorrow when we meet.

Despite their curiosity, Akane just smiled softly, assuring me that they trusted my judgment. Nao snuggled closer, kissing my jawbone gently as if silently comforting me. Well, like Akane and the girls I’ve taken back, she knew how much I had changed. How my previously cold treatment of them had turned into one of utmost care. And I was more than willing to show it this time.

Azusa pretended nonchalance as she flipped through a book she found in our room, but the way her fingers tightened on the pages betrayed her unease. Hanabi silently slid her hand into mine, squeezing it gently. Their warmth eased the lingering tension, even Azusa’s reluctant presence grounding me as I settled close to them.

Mhm. Look at how great these girls are. If I don’t treat them well, I’d be worse than Nobuo and the trash that hurt Tsubame. Whoever that is.

Anyway, since the night was still young and the girls didn’t want to end the day in such a gloomy atmosphere, Akane suggested taking a bath.

As soon as she did that, Hanabi and Azusa seemingly exchanged glances. Following that, their eyes focused on me.

”Is it a bath with... babe?” Hanabi asked. Even without hearing an answer, her ears had already turned red. Most likely, remembering what we failed to finish earlier.

Azusa, on the other hand, just looked on coolly, but her eyes held a challenge. She’d never openly admit wanting intimacy, that wasn’t her style. Her ego wouldn’t let her.

However, her fingers tapping impatiently against her thigh were such a clear giveaway. She wanted me to cave first, to drag her in. Predictable yet annoyingly charming.

Nao glanced between us, her expression soft but curious, waiting for my response. Akane’s suggestion wasn’t just about cleanliness. Obviously, it was an unspoken invitation to ease the lingering tension from Tsubame’s call. Water had a way of washing away worries. And intimacy, even more so.

”Well, if you like to take a bath with me, I don’t mind it. My body is a little sore. I can soak for a long time in the tub.” I ended with a wink, implying that even if they take a bath one by one, I could last through each girl.

Hanabi scurried off to prepare towels, her ears still flushed crimson.

Azusa snapped the book shut with unnecessary force. ”Don’t flatter yourself. I’m bathing alone.”

She stood abruptly, but lingered near the doorframe, one hand gripping it tightly as she glanced behind her. Yep. She’s expecting me to follow her.

”Guess she’ll be the first. Husband, do you need me to prepare anything?” Akane tilted her head with a knowing smile.

”Hmm. I don’t think so. There’s only the miraculous tea, right? But Akane, will you come in last? And you, Nao? Are you sure about letting them take me away again?”

”It’s fine. It’s a special occasion. I live here with you, after all.” Akane answered first, her smile warm. ”I’ll go prepare the tea.”

”I don’t mind it, Ruki. I invited them for you, you know? Besides, I can always come back for seconds.” Nao giggled softly before tracing my arm and pinching it. Despite her words, she’s still a little jealous about Azusa and Hanabi monopolizing me again tonight. But she didn’t protest either.

After kissing both Akane and Nao, I stood up from the bed and approached Hanabi, who was picking her clothes from the bag she brought and whispered, ”Come in after Azusa left, alright? But remember, it’s only if you’re comfortable. You can also tell me if you want to take a bath alone.”

The girl blinked at me before nodding silently. Her cheeks flushed deeper as she fiddled with her nightwear. This goofball is too adorably charming. I’ll endure the hits that Matsuri will give me when we finally reunite.

With that, I followed after Azusa, who had already stepped out of the room.

The girl was already on the stairs, arms crossed, foot tapping impatiently.

”Hurry up. I’m not waiting all night.” Her voice snapped like brittle ice.

”What about your clothes, senpai? You’re not going to bring any?” I asked. There should be towels in our bathroom but was she planning on just draping herself with a towel afterward?

Well, there’s no rule on when she should put on clothes after a bath. Besides, there are only girls upstairs. And me. It’s not like anyone else would see her naked body.

Azusa snorted dismissively at my question, her sharp gaze cutting through the dim hallway light. ”I’ll manage. Worry about yourself instead.”

Her fingers tapped impatiently against her elbow as I descended the stairs, her voice lowering to a near-whisper as I drew closer. ”And stop calling me senpai when we’re alone. It feels... wrong now.”

”Azusa then,” I murmured, catching her wrist as we reached the bottom step. Her pulse hammered against my thumb. ”Does that feel right?”

Her gaze flicked away. ”...Better.”

I guided her toward the bathroom. Once inside the laundry area, I started stripping off my clothes without hesitation. Azusa didn’t know where to look but forced herself to watch.

Once I was down to my last layer, I approached her and helped her out of her clothes. Layer by layer, she reluctantly let me undress her. As I lifted her skirt, she instinctively covered her borrowed underwear with trembling hands. Her cheeks flushed crimson as I kissed her forehead softly. ”Still embarrassed? Or maybe I shouldn’t take a bath with you, Azusa.”

”S-shut up,” Azusa muttered, fingers gripping the hem of her skirt tighter. ”Just... hurry up. We don’t have all night.” Her sharp tone wavered as I slid my hands beneath the fabric, brushing against her thighs. She shuddered when my thumbs traced the elastic band of my borrowed boxers. The only barrier left.

”Alright. Close your eyes then, senpai. I’ll pull this down and strip down myself after. I’ll guide you inside and tell you when to open your eyes again. But first. Do you want a shower or straight to the tub?”

Azusa stiffened at the suggestion, her breath catching. ”Just... the bath. It’ll be enough to wash away...” She trailed off, eyes squeezed shut as my fingers hooked into the waistband. The boxers slid down her legs, pooling at her ankles. She stood bare before me, trembling yet defiant. I stripped off my own boxers right after.

With the bright light overhead, she was extremely breathtaking, making me remember how I unraveled her earlier. After that, I reached for the high ponytail and gently loosened her long blonde hair. Her soft golden locks cascaded down her shoulders as she gasped softly.

That gasp instantly sent arousal coursing through me. Without hesitation, I scooped her up and carried her bridal-style into the bathroom. Her arms instinctively wrapped around my neck.

As I set her down beside the tub, Azusa kept her eyes squeezed shut, trembling slightly. Akane had already filled it up earlier. After all, we always take a bath before bed. It was already warm. Steam curled lazily in the air, carrying the faint scent of bath salts Akane put in.

”Open your eyes,” I murmured, stepping into the water first. The heat enveloped my sore muscles instantly. Azusa’s eyelids fluttered open, her gaze darting away from my nakedness only to land on the swirling water. Her cheeks flushed crimson as she hesitated at the edge.

”Get in,” I commanded gently, holding out my hand. She ignored it, stepping in with forced dignity, but gasped as the heat hit her skin. She sank opposite me, knees drawn tight against her chest.

Water lapped at her collarbones, her blonde hair fanned out like liquid gold. Her eyes stayed fixed on the tiled wall. She couldn’t look straight at me. After all, my cock was clearly visible beneath the surface, hardening slowly as I watched her squirm.

”You know, Azusa. I can leave if it’s too uncomfortable for you.” My gaze drifted to her flushed collarbone, the tension coiling tighter beneath the steaming water.

”... What would be the point if you leave, idiot?” Azusa muttered, her gaze flicking down to the rippling water. Her toes brushed against my calf beneath the surface, ”You promised... you’d be here.”

Did I promise? Well, if she interpreted it like that... I guess I did.

”Alright, then are you comfortable just sitting there? Before you know it, Hanabi might knock on us. It’s your chance to monopolize me, Azusa.”

I reached for her wrist beneath the warm water, tugging her gently toward me. Azusa resisted for a moment, her legs unfolding reluctantly, before sliding across the smooth ceramic. Steam rose between us as her back settled against my chest.

The girl even did her best to sit down with my cock trapped between her legs, letting it slide across her sacred place.
