Stealing Spree

Chapter 2623: Before going upstairs

Around fifteen minutes later, Chii and the other two girls went ahead upstairs while I remained downstairs. Not because I was going to sleep outside the room but because I promised the other girls to contact them before midnight.

As soon as I opened my phone, my eyes fixated on the most recent notification.

It came from Hifumi.

”Ruki… How is the sleepover with Chizuru and her friends? Have you laid your hands on them as well?”

She ended that with a smirking emoji as though she knew the possibility of it happening was high.

I couldnʼt help but scratch my head. How should I answer that? Of course, by being openly honest.

After thinking for a while, my fingers began tapping my screen, composing a cheeky reply.

”Sorry, Hifumi. Your man is so irresistible. It doesnʼt help that Chii mischievously invited them. Not that Iʼm putting all the blame on her. I await your punishment. Maybe a sleepover with your friends too?”

What a scum. If someone else reads that reply, theyʼll be disgusted.

Well, itʼs also not impossible for my girls to be mad at it. After all, they have their own unique way to process things.

Not a minute later, Hifumiʼs reply arrived.

”I knew it, you pervert. Hana was certain it would happen while I refuted it, saying you could hold yourself back. How could I forget how soft you are to girls? Especially those with deep friendships you so admired. It also didnʼt help that one of them was interested in you.”

I chuckled at Hifumiʼs reply as I pictured her half-amused, half-exasperated expression. She knew me too well. Knew how Iʼd stumble into these situations, even if I didnʼt plan them.

Yep. The fault lies in me, right? I just canʼt stop myself from getting involved with more girls when I already have them.

I typed out a response, keeping my tone playful but honest.

”Ouch, Hifumi. Youʼre stabbing me with truth. I tried to be good, you know? But Chii and I… canʼt help being so intimate with them close by. We got caught and things happened. Furthermore, their enthusiasm got the better of me. Blame my weak heart for beautiful friendships.”

I hit send, grinning to myself as I imagined Hifumi rolling her eyes at that response.

The living room was quiet now, save for the soft creak of the house settling and the distant hum of the girlsʼ voices upstairs. An-rinʼs chaotic energy and Kushiiʼs shy boldness were probably clashing as they bickered over who got which side of the bed, with Chii playing referee. Or maybe instigator?

I checked my other messages. Thereʼs Akane, who asked me if I managed to brew the tea. Then, Fuyu told me she couldnʼt sleep and asked me to send her a voice message.

Well, I hit the video call button instead. It connected almost instantly as if she was waiting for it since she had sent her message earlier.

Fuyuʼs face appeared on the screen, her hair slightly disheveled, possibly from tossing and turning. Her eyes were glowing softly with that familiar mix of affection and curiosity.

She was propped up in her bed, a cozy blanket draped over her shoulders. The soft glow of her bedside lamp cast a warm halo around her.

This beautiful sight of her brought an immediate smile to my face.

”Ruki…” She greeted with a sweet whisper as if she didnʼt want to wake anyone else in her house. ”I didnʼt expect a video call. Youʼre supposed to be at a sleepover, not keeping me up with your face.”

”What can I say, Fuyu? You asked for a voice message, but I figured you deserved the full experience. Besides, I promised not to forget saying goodnight to all of you. Also, I couldnʼt let you go to sleep without seeing your boyfriend, right?”

Her lips twitched into a small, playful pout. Thatʼs something she used to do whenever she wanted to scold me before. Nevertheless, her eyes sparkled with amusement. ”Boyfriend, huh? Right. You are mine now… So, why are you going to sleep at another girlʼs house? I couldʼve just listened to your voice and been fine. Now Iʼm stuck staring at your smug face.”

”Well, if my Fuyu wants it, I can visit your house next time and ask Auntie and Uncle to let me stay the night with you. Do you like that?” I maintained my smug expression causing the girl to huff.

”I do like that. But Ruki! You know they wonʼt let it happen! Iʼll just… stay at your house next time. I have to ensure Akane canʼt always monopolize you.”

”Girl, donʼt you want me to be loyal to Akane only before?”

”That is in the past. Now, after becoming one of your girls too… Iʼm gonna compete with everyone for your undivided attention.”

The girl stuck her tongue out and then, as if she thought of something mischievous, she gradually lifted her blanket, revealing a glimpse of her nightgown. Yep. Itʼs not a pajama but something she probably picked up from Akaneʼs nightwear the last time she stayed the night. It clung lightly to her frame as if it were about to slide off of her easily. The neckline dipped just enough to tease me with her bountiful bosom. Because of how she was turned sideways, I could clearly see her cleavage as her breasts seemed to be squeezed down by gravity.

Her cheeks turned red right away as she quickly pulled the blanket back up, as if realizing sheʼd gone a step too far in her playful teasing.

”Oops. Didnʼt mean to give you that much of a show, Ruki. Donʼt get any ideas, okay? Youʼll see more the next time we lie in bed together.”

Mhm. This girl. Sheʼs learning how to tease me back. I guess it goes to show how sheʼs becoming more comfortable with our relationship. Not to mention, the things that happened between us were enough to elevate our relationship to a high level.

I put on a pout, which made her giggle, ”Fuyu, youʼre killing me here. One second youʼre scolding me, the next youʼre flashing me. And you call me the shameless one? Iʼm just trying to be a good boyfriend, checking in on my girl who canʼt sleep.”

Her lips curled up into a reluctant smile. ”Hmph. Donʼt twist this on me, Ruki. Iʼm just… making sure you donʼt forget about me while youʼre off having a sleepover with another girl.”

”Alright. Then what does my Fuyu want me to do? Do you want me to sing you a lullaby or…?” Copying her mischievousness, I let my phone tilt slightly, giving her a glimpse of my body. Then I lifted it, putting it at an angle where she could see the entirety of me. To add to the playfulness, I tugged my shorts down slightly, just enough to show the bulge of my cock, mimicking her teasing move.

Fuyuʼs eyes widened for a split second before she burst into a fit of giggles, her hand covering her mouth to muffle the sound.

”Ruki! Youʼre incorrigible! Youʼre supposed to be the responsible one, not flashing me like some… some pervert!”

I grinned, pulling my shorts back up and giving her an exaggerated innocent shrug. ”And here I thought youʼd like that offering. I just copied you, you know?”

”Hmph. Iʼd like it more to see that in person. Not… in here.”

”You naughty girl. Whereʼs my innocent Fuyu?”

”You already corrupted her, idiot Ruki!”

”Right, I did.” I put on a wry smile before continuing to tease her.

Just like this, the video call continued for a few more minutes before the girl became satisfied. Right after the call ended, she sent me another photo of her, this time, with a proper view of her nightgown.

Really, just when I thought I could already calm down for the night, she fed me more stimulants.

Before going upstairs to join Chii and the others, I continued checking the other messages and Hifumiʼs reply.

The night was finally about to be over… Or is it?
