Stealing Spree

Chapter 2622: Finishing our Bath

For the next fifteen minutes, Chii and I stayed inside the tub, letting the warm water soothe our bodies. I havenʼt pulled out of her yet but I guess we should end this here, no? I mean, we could continue later or in the morning. Thereʼs no need to push the girl when sheʼs thoroughly exhausted, both from the pain and pleasure.

”Kii, next time, Iʼll bring you home with me so I can have you all to myself in my room.” She mumbled listlessly as if she were about to drift off to sleep.

”Thatʼs a good idea. But will Auntie let us be alone in your room?”

”Maybe? Youʼve already built a good impression on her, Kii. And I told her about how youʼve taken care of me back in our grade school…”

”Did I take care of you? I remembered making you cry.”

”Psh. I only cried once. It was when you cut me off. But all those times I spent with you… You never once mistreated me. Perhaps you think you did, but you didnʼt. Do you want me to list every positive thing you did for me? Outside of the intimate moments we shared sneakily?”

”You sure youʼre not just romanticizing our grade school days? Arenʼt I a heartless prick? On top of having you, I also got Hana and Hifumi. Not to mention, Akane kept on following my every move back then.” I chuckled as I brushed a damp strand of hair from her face.

The warm water gently rippled around us as the steam curled lazily in the air, creating a cocoon of intimacy that felt like it could stretch on forever.

Chiiʼs lips curled into a soft, nostalgic smile. Her eyes were half-lidded as she nestled closer against my chest. Her voice was drowsy, yet laced with that familiar, playful edge, even as exhaustion tugged at her words.

”Pfft, Kii, you think you were some kinda villain back then? Sure, you were a little gremlin yourself, but heartless? Nope. All you did was take care of me better than anyone else could. Even with all of my clumsiness, you never laughed at me.”

I raised an eyebrow, my fingers lazily tracing circles on her lower back, careful not to stir her too much. ”Gremlin, huh? Now thatʼs new. I distinctly remember only pushing you away whenever I donʼt feel like dealing with you. How did I take care of you then?”

She let out a weak laugh, her breath tickling my skin. ”There you go again with your extremely selective memory. Didnʼt we already prove to you that the reality is different than how you perceived it on your end? We all fell in love with you for a reason. Itʼs not just because you stole us for your desire. But because youʼve shown us great care and affection. And donʼt forget how youʼd walk me home when it got dark, or how youʼd scare off those dumb boys who tried to mess with me. You were, like, totally protective, even if you played it off like it was no big deal.”

Her words hit a soft spot, stirring memories I truly couldnʼt remember because of my one-track mind of only fulfilling my desire. But hearing Chii talk about it now, with such warmth, made those moments feel heavier, more meaningful. I tightened my hold on her as I kissed her forehead.

”I see. Guess I wasnʼt all bad,” I murmured. ”But youʼre giving me too much credit, Chii. All of you were the ones who kept me in line, even when I was running around causing trouble and making things difficult for all of you.”

She tilted her head up, her eyes glinting with mischief despite the fatigue settling in. ”That we did. But Kii, I was, like, the clumsiest kid ever. If it wasnʼt for you, Iʼd probably still be tripping over my own feet and crying about it. You and your dumb confidence always made me feel like I could keep up.”

I burst out in a chuckle, the sound of it reverberated in the small, steamy bathroom. ”Dumb confidence? Ouch. Here I thought I was charming even back then.”

”Pfft, charmingly annoying, maybe,” She shot back as her fingers playfully poked my chest. ”But… I loved that about you. Still do. Even now, with all your girls and your… complicated life, youʼre still my Kii. And tonight…” Her voice softened, her cheeks flushing despite the warmth of the water. ”Tonight was perfect. Painful, yeah, but perfect. Because it was with you.”

Her words settled into my chest, warm and heavy, like the water surrounding us.

I leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss on her forehead again, then her nose, and finally her lips, lingering just long enough to feel her smile against me.

”Chii. Perfect, huh? Iʼll still think all of you overpraise my selfish mug. But youʼre right. This is us. And I wouldnʼt trade it for anything.”

Her mouth opened and closed, most likely thinking of retorting to my claim of being a selfish guy. But she stopped and converted it to a simple bite on my neck before she hummed contentedly, letting her body relax fully against mine.

The water had already cooled slightly, but neither of us cared. This moment, this quiet intimacy, was enough. For a while, we just stayed there, letting the silence speak for itself, the only sounds were the soft drip of water and our steady breaths.

Eventually, though, reality crept back in. I shifted slightly, careful not to jostle her too much. ”Alright, Chii, as much as Iʼd love to stay like this all night, we should probably start bathing before An-rin starts banging on the door, accusing me of turning her bathroom into a ʼperv palaceʼ again.”

”Then, letʼs go back to the shower. We havenʼt really cleaned up yet, have we?”

She lifted her head from my chest, her eyes sparkling with a mix of exhaustion and mischief. ”Unless youʼre planning to keep me here forever, Kii, which, yʼknow, I wouldnʼt totally hate.”

”Tempting, but I donʼt think An-rinʼs gonna let us live that down. Come on, letʼs get you cleaned up before she storms in with her chaotic gremlin energy.”

With a reluctant groan, Chii let me help her up, her legs were still a bit wobbly from everything. I kept a steady hand on her waist as we stepped out of the tub. I turned the shower back on, letting the warm water cascade over us again, washing away the last traces of our heated moment.

Chii leaned into me, her hands resting on my chest as the water ran down her back. ”Mmm, Kii, youʼre too good at this. Making me feel all safe and stuff. Itʼs unfair, yʼknow?”

”Unfair? Says the girl whoʼs got me wrapped around her finger,” I teased, grabbing a bottle of body wash and squirting some into my hands. I lathered it up and started gently rubbing it over her shoulders, working my way down her arms. ”Gotta make sure my Chii is sparkling clean, right?”

She giggled, her earlier exhaustion giving way to a lighter, more playful mood. ”Sparkling, huh? Youʼre just looking for an excuse to keep touching me, pervert Kii.”

”Is it that obvious?” I smirked as my hands glided over her back, careful to keep the moment tender rather than reigniting anything too intense. She sighed contentedly, leaning into my touch as I worked the soap into her skin.

Chii tilted her head back, letting the water rinse the soapsuds away, and I couldnʼt help but admire her again. The way her hair clung to her neck, the soft curve of her jaw, the way her lips curled into a small, satisfied smile. She caught me staring and stuck out her tongue. ”What? See something you like, Kii?”

”I do.” I swiftly answered, my voice radiating my full honesty. I leaned in, pressing a quick kiss to her forehead before grabbing the shampoo. ”Now hold still. Gotta tame that wild hair of yours.”

She pouted but complied, letting me work the shampoo through her hair as my fingers massaged her scalp.

Her eyes fluttered closed, and she let out a soft hum of approval. ”Mmm, okay, maybe youʼre not the worst at this. Keep going, Kii. Youʼre earning boyfriend points.”

”Boyfriend points, huh? What do I get when I cash those in?” I teased, rinsing the shampoo out carefully, making sure none got in her eyes.

She cracked one eye open, smirking. ”Me, of course. Knowing you, youʼre still up for another round.”

”And you say Iʼm the pervert. Sorry for corrupting you, Chii.” I teasingly said.

The girlʼs forehead hit my chest as she grumpily replied, ”Yeah, right? We have all been corrupted by you. But itʼs because youʼre too good at it. So take responsibility.”

”Well, thatʼs what Iʼm planning to do.”

We laughed, the sound of our voices echoing softly in the small bathroom, and I felt that warmth in my chest again. Even after everything, she could still make something as simple as a shower feel like a moment worth cherishing.
