Starting As a Young Eagle, I Evolve Into an Ice Beast

114: Chapter 114 The Martial Arts Association President Wang Zhuo’s Doubts.”Holy shit, has that giant eagle gotten even bigger?”

”Not only has it gotten bigger, but its level is also higher. It can easily insta-kill a Rank 5, Stage 7 Demonic Spider. Look at how it scared our Earth Nether Flood Dragon; it doesn’t even dare to speak loudly.”

”Fortunately, it didn’t attack us, otherwise it would have been dangerous.”

”After all, we still have nuclear weapons as a threat, so it doesn’t dare to do anything to us for the time being. But we cannot be complacent because of this. Before the opponent stops fearing nuclear weapons, we must use another form of force to suppress it; we absolutely cannot let it act recklessly!”

”I hope so. These past few days have nearly scared me to death. For a moment, I even thought about ending it all.”

”You’re just avoiding difficulties. We, the people of the Dragon Kingdom, must overcome difficulties when we face them and never be afraid of them. Perk up! We still have a bright future ahead; the future will definitely belong to our Dragon Kingdom.”

”Thanks, I was just thinking. Even if I die, I’ll take an enemy down with me. Killing one is breaking even; killing two is a profit.”

The internet was already in an uproar, with constant discussions. The most talked-about topic was the Lord of the Far East, with people feeling incredibly shocked and surprised by his appearance and actions.

After Bai Xuan dealt with the Demonic Spider swarm, the Earth Nether Flood Dragon, Yanyan, and Dahuang moved to other battlefields, wiping out most of the Zerg. The situation in the Dragon Kingdom wasn’t too bad; the strongest Zerg beasts were those Demonic Spiders, and the Earth Nether Flood Dragon could easily handle the rest.

The Azure Wolf King reached a cooperation agreement with the humans. If the Dragon Kingdom encountered danger, the Azure Wolf King would provide support. Similarly, the Dragon Kingdom allocated an area for the Azure Wolf King and its people to live in, with neither side interfering with the other, achieving a state of peaceful coexistence.

The next day, the Zerg disaster within the Dragon Kingdom was completely suppressed, with only a few scattered Zerg beasts escaping. The Earth Nether Flood Dragon returned to the underground river to begin its secluded cultivation.

Perhaps it would only appear in the public eye again when the Dragon Kingdom’s next crisis arrived. The Dragon Kingdom was also very grateful for the Earth Nether Flood Dragon’s help and provided a large amount of resources as compensation to stabilize their relationship.

...

Meanwhile, in an office for Dragon Kingdom military officers.

General Wang Zhuo sat on the sofa, his fingers pinching his chin in deep thought.

”General, the Dragon Kingdom has now stabilized. The Aura Tide has ended, and the Zerg have been mostly wiped out. All we need to do next is develop rapidly.”

The Rank 4, Stage 9 martial artist sitting beside him, who was also the President of the Martial Artist Association, had just come off the battlefield to discuss important matters with General Wang Zhuo.

General Wang Zhuo picked up his teacup and took a sip. ”Other countries are still suffering from the Zerg disaster. We cannot afford to lower our guard. We must stay fully alert and strengthen the defenses along our borders.”

”I think so too.” The President nodded slightly, agreeing with this view.

If Zerg from other regions were to attack, the Dragon Kingdom wouldn’t be caught off guard like during the last Zerg outbreak.

The Dragon Kingdom was the first country to stabilize. On one hand, the Zerg beasts weren’t very powerful; even without Bai Xuan’s indirect help, they could have managed. If they had fought longer, there would have been only two possible outcomes: pinning the Zerg down in the mountains and forests, or driving them out of the Dragon Kingdom’s borders. Killing them all would still have been very difficult.

”What puzzles me most now is why that giant eagle helped us. Doesn’t it know how much harm the Zerg cause to the Dragon Kingdom? Was it really just for a bit of food?”

This was exactly what puzzled General Wang Zhuo. Wouldn’t it have been more beneficial for them not to eliminate the Demonic Spider swarm and let it drain the Dragon Kingdom’s overall strength?

Eating those Demonic Spiders because it was hungry?

Would the dignified Lord of the Far East be short of that little bit of food?

This obviously didn’t make sense.

”Whatever. As long as it indirectly helped us resolve the Zerg disaster, it’s fine.” The President was also puzzled but didn’t overthink it; as long as the outcome was beneficial to them, it was enough.

”I think we can try to befriend it, send some gifts to show our gratitude. If possible, the Dragon Kingdom could establish a cooperative relationship with it to ease the current tension.”

General Wang Zhuo voiced his thoughts. A massive fierce beast group was watching from the northern region, causing anxiety throughout the Dragon Kingdom. More and more troops were being deployed, constantly on guard against the fierce beasts of the Far East Region.

Even though troops had been redeployed from the borders to deal with Zerg disasters in various places, they were still very worried that the fierce beasts of the Far East Region might suddenly launch an attack.

At the same time, the fact that the Zerg in the Far East Region had been mostly dealt with was also very beneficial to the Dragon Kingdom. At the very least, they didn’t have to worry about Zerg beasts invading from the Far East Region. However, the fierce beasts were a major problem, and this situation had to be resolved as soon as possible.

”This... wouldn’t it be a bit too risky? After all, that’s the territory of fierce beasts.” The President knew full well how terrifying Bai Xuan was; going there rashly would be a near-death experience.

”This is an opportunity to build a good relationship. If we miss it, it will be gone,” General Wang Zhuo said after a moment of silence.

”Then who do you plan to send to establish relations?” The President took a sip of tea to calm his nerves. General Wang Zhuo’s point was valid; if they could befriend them or even form an alliance, the help to the Dragon Kingdom would be immense.

”To show our sincerity, I will personally lead a group there,” General Wang Zhuo said after a moment of silence.

”Pfft...” The tea the President had just taken into his mouth was all spat out upon hearing General Wang Zhuo’s words, spraying all over the table.

”Calm down.” General Wang Zhuo smiled helplessly.

”What? You want to go personally? That’s absolutely out of the question, it’s too risky. Let me go instead; my status is sufficient.”
