Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!

Chapter 259: Chapter 259: The Bloodline Awakens!

Not long after, Fenric appeared inside a luxurious hotel building.

His appearance had changed—he now wore a disguise mask, altering his features into the likeness of one of Choi Hojae’s subordinates.

Though he wasn’t sure which floor Choi Hojae had entered, the temporary Eye of Pursuit gave him an undeniable advantage. In Fenric’s sight, the man glowed like a firefly, impossible to miss.

Guided by the mark, Fenric stopped at the 28th floor, outside Room 2812. The presence inside confirmed his suspicion: the target was there.

Two young men in suits stood guard by the door. When they saw Fenric approach, the one on the left barked something in Willowlean.

Fenric didn’t understand, nor did he care to.

With a flick of his hand, there was a sharp crack. Both men’s necks twisted at unnatural angles as they collapsed lifelessly to the floor.

He didn’t bother with a keycard. Instead, Fenric lifted his foot and struck.

Boom!

The reinforced door shattered instantly under his kick.

The noise startled the occupants inside.

A man and a woman turned sharply, clearly interrupted in the middle of their ”work.” The man was none other than Choi Hojae.

At first startled, Hojae’s expression quickly shifted to anger when he recognized Fenric’s assumed face.

”You bastard! What the hell are you doing?!” he cursed in Willowlean language, mistaking Fenric for his subordinate.

Fenric only caught the swearing.

The next moment, his mind power surged.

Buzz!

Choi Hojae froze in place, bound by an invisible force. His eyes widened in disbelief.

Fenric’s cold voice broke the silence, switching to English. ”Do you speak English?”

Hojae’s face twisted with unease. ”...Who are you?” he stammered in accented English.

”Samsara,” Fenric replied flatly. ”I took the order from Samsara Space. I’m here to execute you.”

Hojae paled, his earlier suspicion confirmed.

Then, desperation flared in his gaze. His throat expanded, and he let out a violent scream.

A piercing, high-frequency shriek tore through the room.

Shatter!

The glass windows burst apart.

The woman at his side clutched her head and screamed as her eardrums ruptured, blood streaming down her ears.

But Fenric stood unaffected.

It wasn’t because his ears were naturally resistant—Death Sense had warned him just before the attack, and he had quickly cloaked himself in Armament Haki. The protective energy shielded every inch of his body, including his ears.

Even so, Fenric raised an eyebrow. ”So, he had this kind of ability hidden away? Interesting.”

With a flick of his wrist, a longsword materialized in his hand. The blade gleamed as he pressed the tip against Hojae’s throat.

The shrieking stopped instantly.

The woman, however, had already collapsed—her fragile body couldn’t withstand even a few seconds of the sonic assault.

”Answer my question, and I’ll give you a clean death,” Fenric said coldly.

Hojae’s bravado crumbled. He trembled, eyes darting. ”Please... sir. I can give you all my money. Just let me go!”

Fenric’s expression remained unmoved. ”Do you think I need your money?”

Hojae faltered, realizing the absurdity of his offer. What use was wealth to someone like this?

Fenric pressed the blade closer. ”How did you escape the compulsory summons of Samsara Space?” His voice was icy. ”Answer me, or I’ll take my time before killing you.”

Hojae clenched his jaw, then finally blurted, ”It’s simple! Just cut out the full moon tattoo on your arm. That’s it!”

Fenric’s eyes narrowed in surprise. That’s all it takes?

”Please,” Hojae continued desperately, ”I also have rare items. You’ll definitely want them—”

Fenric snorted. ”Special items? Since when can those be traded privately?”

Everyone knew the Samsara Space’s rules: such items could only be exchanged through the official Trade Center. Private deals were punished severely.

But Hojae shook his head frantically. ”I’m telling the truth! I’m no longer bound by Samsara Space. That’s why my items can be traded freely, here in the real world!”

”Oh?” Fenric gave a faint smile.

Then he thrust his sword.

Puff!

The blade pierced straight through Hojae’s throat.

His eyes bulged in shock, blood bubbling at his lips as he stared at Fenric with disbelief.

”My greatest strength,” Fenric said evenly, ”is that I’m not greedy.”

Hojae’s body twitched, then went limp. His head slumped forward as life fled from his eyes.

Ding—!

A chime echoed in Fenric’s mind.

”Congratulations. You have eliminated the wanted criminal, Choi Hojae. Reward: 30,000 Samsara Points.”

Fenric frowned. Only thirty thousand? For a B-rank target?

It had been easy for him, but most Samsaras at that level would have struggled or failed. Still, the reward felt paltry. Stingy system...

Just then, something shimmered above Hojae’s corpse.

A glass vial appeared, hovering in the air.

Fenric caught it instinctively and stared at its contents—several milliliters of vivid red liquid, like blood.

Ding—!

The system chimed again:

”Consumable Item Acquired: Saiyan Bloodline (Modified).

22

Upon use: permanently fuses Saiyan genes.

Grants +50 to Physical Attributes, +50 to Power Attributes.

Additional Effect: By expending Samsara Points, user can evolve into a Super Saiyan, drastically amplifying combat strength.”

”Holy!”

Fenric’s breath caught. His eyes widened.

Saiyan bloodline?! From a mere B-rank Samsara?!

Super Saiyans were warriors capable of destroying planets.

If Hojae had truly unlocked that power... Fenric admitted to himself, today’s mission might have ended with his corpse instead.
